A wonderful hotel with a fabulous location close to everything and just off the main pedestrian precinct. The rooms are cozy and basic, but they have everything you need, including comfortable beds, AC, TVs, coffee/tea, and our bathroom had an awesome shower. We were biking, so we appreciated the excellent bike storage. What made our visit most enjoyable were the attentive staff and owner who want to make sure their guests have a great time. Highly Recommend!

Really solid spot. The staff were very helpful and made the stay enjoyable. Location is really good, just off the main pedestrian street. The room was nothing fancy, but was well maintained and comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Bed bugs. Need I say more?! I had a reservation in room 15 for June 29, 2025. I am part of a tour group, and we had many rooms reserved (around 12-15). We noticed right away that the rooms lacked cleanliness- hair on towels, mildew on the walls, stains on bedding (we have pictures of all of these)- but the utter worst was when I lifted my pillow at 10 pm to climb into bed, and I found a bed bug! Our tour guide came into my room to inspect the bed. She lifted the bottom corner and we found 2 more. My daughter and I packed up our room and went in the hallway, while we tried to find alternate arrangements. Unfortunately there were no staff in the building at this time, and no one answered the phone. We had to move to another hotel- not an easy thing to do at midnight on a Sunday! It was scary that the lower level doors were locked, so I felt trapped inside, and one of our group leaders was also locked outside (even with the code). One other room from our group was found to have multiple bed bugs. Half of our group (around 15 people) changed hotels last night because of the gross state of their rooms. This was the worse hotel experience of my life, and it seems like a widespread problem in this hotel. I’d give 0 stars if I could. (Update after reading the hotel’s reply: my daughter and I did not open the window in our room, and the idea that we found gnats in our room is absurd. There was a dead bedbug under my pillow and two more under my mattress, as I showed in pictures. This is a result of your poor cleaning practices. Also, you mentioned that we should have asked housekeeping to fix it- as I said, there were literally no hotel staff when I discovered this problem at 10 pm, not even front desk staff.)

While travelling with a tour group we came here between taking a train out to Nice. Several beds had bugs, hair, and pieces of what looked like old leaves. Stunk like someone had peed on the carpet. Honestly, I am incredibly furious.

A solid budget choice. Friendly reception, secure room for 20+ bikes, even electric outlets for ebikes. We opted for the smallest room. Yes it was small but was super clean and had everything we needed, even water kettle, tea and coffee. An added bonus : the bathroom has a window that can be opened. There are several cosy sitting areas on first floor.

BED BUGS. travelled in a group and multiple rooms were infested, hair all over blankets and towels and pee stains on mattresses. DO NOT STAY HERE (regarding the hotels reply to my review, ive attached photo evidence of bedbugs in 4 different reviews, as well as pictures of the mold and hair. those are not “gnats,” they are bedbugs that were found underneath the sheets and in mattresses. do not blame your poor cleaning practices on us.)

My wife and I were on a Rick Steves tour and the tour guide selected this hotel. It was not fancy, but was in a very good location in town. The staff was very nice. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The beds were fine and the bathroom was fine. Breakfast was good.

Great small hotel. Perfect for a short stay. Near to the city centre. Very helpful staff. Exceptional breakfast.
