have driven past this hotel/restaurant a number of times and thought that "must try that one" How disappointing. The atmosphere was like the Bates Motel. Tried the fixed price menu at around 60 Euro and the Amusse Buche was a pea blitzed soup with a dollop of cream (not funny) the Duck was from the Flintstones freezer. Dessert was strawberry - cant do much wrong with that. At 140 Euros for two - exorbitant, dont know where the food photos came from but not here! So many excellent restaurants around here for less than 60E pp.

We have dined in the hotel’s restaurant twice even though we were not guests - that’s how good it is. It is one of the best restaurants in the region.
The service is friendly, and the food is exceptional and focuses on locally-sourced ingredients - from the oeuf, through the thon, le canard, le cochon, and all the way to the lovely desserts. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

I stayed three nights while I explored the region kayaking, cave paintings and castles it was a quiet and peaceful place. The Food is Fabulous! And the price for a clean comfortable room was icing on the cake! Don’t hesitate to book here.

A lovely position by the river, even though it's on a busy road (only during the day). Very simple and cosy rooms (we were right up at the top) and, in our case, lovely verdant views from two sides. Simple but decent-sized bathroom (shower), but all a little old-fashioned, in a nice way. The piece-de-resistance is the restaurant. Excellent menu and we loved it. Good breakfast as well.

I cannot comment on the hotel but the food was incredible!! My husband ordered the duck and I had the cod. Both were among our most memorable all-time dishes. And the appetizers and desserts were also unbelievable. The restaurant is listed in the Michelin Red Guide and it deserves at least that if not a star or two. If you are anywhere nearby, do not miss out on a dining experience you will not soon forget!

Stopped here for lunch with a group. One of the best meals we had. For appetizer - a poached egg with morel sauce, main course - tournedo of duck with cherry sauce and for dessert cassis sorbet with strawberries. Everything delicious and enjoyed in a beautiful setting - both the dining room and the view. Strongly recommend - worth a detour.

Staying in this hotel for a few nights. Came on Wednesday and decided to eat in the restaurant- WOW- what a superb meal we had- we had as an appetizer Green Asparagus with cream sauce- so delicious!!! We then had a Pork dish with some caramelized sauce and some side potatoes crispy on the outside and melts in your mouth on the inside- heaven!!! We then had Apple pie aka mode- so gooood!!! They also gave as a little fish of melon with some fruit liquor that was so refreshing and a nice surprise! We highly recommend this place- will beat some of the most highly rated restaurants in NYC- any day.......
