The food was not good. Only the oysters were good. Fish was tasteless, hamburgers for kids were very dry, porc was mostly bones and no meat, moelleux was just a cake Servers were nice

Had €26 menu at lunchtime. . Food was ok but service was particularly unfriendly which spoiled the experience.

Fantastic place! We booked a room with balcony & a terrace facing the Somme. The room was lovely, with large comfortable bed & tea/coffee making facilities. Lovely bathroom with shower as well. We also ate in the hotel restaurant & I can understand why it gets booked out! The food was delicious & the staff very friendly & welcoming despite my terrible French! Breakfast was also fabulous and there was a wide choice of items with fresh baguettes, pastries & nice strong coffee. We had a brilliant stay & would definitely recommend this hotel & it’s restaurant. Thank you to the lovely husband & wife team who made us so welcome, along with their staff. I send my regrets to the owner that Les Bleus are not in the World Cup final but he can always support the All Blacks! 😊

The hotel is in a great position with free parking .However, the rooms are very small with no wardrobe ,drawers or shelves .there was nowhere to put anything except a small rail that hung over the bedside light .The bathroom was okay but the hairdryer had been removed and disconnected and the hotel would not lend me one and were quite rude about it. Not a problem for us but there are a lot of stairs. The whole place smelt from the BBQ which was quite unpleasant .All a bit tired and scruffy.

Stopped over night on our way south, as the hotel allows dogs. We had Apartment 1, which is separate from the main hotel but just a two minute walk. Perfect for us, as it was ground floor level, easy to take the dogs out. We booked to eat in the restaurant as they allowed our dogs to sit under the table with us. The food was excellent and the service really good. Breakfast was also excellent. The apartment was great, 3 beds and a cot, upstairs.p, shower room. Downstairs was a sitting area and a good kitchen, if you want to self-cater.||All in all an excellent stay, we will be back.

Stopped here for drinks a few times, very nice, also had a nice lunch here. Went for dinner in the evening unfortunately not so good. Had the 48 euro set menu , the starter was awful - a small overcooked scallop , with a sauce that was not good !. Sole main course was OK, service was slow due to lack of staff (asked for bottle of water 3 times). We ate in the "conservatory" area which was too hot, and a few flies, would recommend eating in the main restaurant.

We had a lovely stay, in this very traditional hotel. The room was comfy. We picked a water view. Very comfortable bed, and bathroom, freshly remodeled. It was very quiet and perfect for a night. We had dinner in the evening and enjoyed the first menu at 25€, and a nice breakfast in the morning. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Yelp
We came with friends who are regular weekend visitors to St Valéry as they said this was the best restaurant in town. We all had the €29 prix fixe menu. I started with the mussels in Camembert sauce which had a mussel flavour which went really well in the red creamy sauce. It was like a thick soup which I shared with a friend - it's too rich to eat all alone. A couple of other people had the ficelle picarde which was a crepe stuffed with mushrooms. Tasty! We all had the lamb stew light and tasty. Lots of veg which was a nice change. The menu also comes with a three cheese gateau with caramelised apples and walnuts. I thought the Roquefort cheese overwhelmed the dish but everyone else really enjoyed it. And for dessert, we had a sort of baked flan with cooked apples. This was tasty as well although slightly on the sweet side. A really nice venue, we stayed for around 3 hours for a really leisurely fun meal!
