Good value. It's very clean. Lots of parking space. Short walk to the centre. Staff is polite, but I wouldn't call them enthusiastic. Walls are extremely thin. I'm pretty sure my bed moved when the people in the next room got into theirs. However, I would stay here if I'm ever in Mirepoix again.

Plain and simple and just right for an overnight stay with a great restaurant. Good value for money. Waited in reception for ages waiting for attention as they were busy serving lunch. The room was dusty in the usual places ie top of lights, picture frames and wardrobe top, but that can soon be remedied. Strangely, no plug for the sink. However, well placed near the town centre and recommended.

The location (just off the D119 and close to centre ville) and with a convenient onsite restaurant, which was good for a late arrival and OK for food. The staff were quite pleasant. The bathroom was nicely refurbished.||The room was freezing (I was there in early January ie Winter); the power turned off with a keycard so the room couldn't even heat up while I was out to dinner; the room was also THE most featureless and bland I had ever been in (no colour, no prints on the walls) for this level of accommodation. Breakfast selection could have been a bit better with appropriate crockery available.

This is a hotel restaurant. In a 2 star hotel. And like many hotel restaurants, it is very brightly lit. Hardly romantic. The clientele, at least in October, seems to be a mix of hotel guests and tourists staying elsewhere. We got into a conversation with a Danish hairdresser and his Danish hairdresser wife who were delighted to practice their English. But the menu is extensive, the service is very friendly, and the food ends up being way above your expectations when you first walk in. And the portions are quite large. The service was friendly and quite excellent.

We have stayed here before but over 5 years ago it is a well placed good hotel for the square in Mirepoix good rooms but the big plus is the restaurant it does excellent French cuisine and an added bonus you can upgrade the set menus with a wine selection which is good value I highly recommend this hotel

I used to be a regular customer of Les Minotiers however after my last visit I shall not return. I used to particularly enjoy their most extravagant menu Le Terroir at €37, which includes their famous foie gras fait Maison and comes paired with matched wines for an additional cost.||The overriding problem today was the appalling lack of service. After waiting 15 minutes to even recieve the menu we ordered a bottle of wine and a selection of dishes. The rose wine was NOT chilled when it arrived halfway through my starter and so I had to add ice cubes. ||I had the foie gras, which remains good albeit expensive compared to a similar quality at St Maurice. However, things went rapidly downhill after this. Madame's 22 Euro lamb pie consisted of a massive flavourless pastry top, 3 large potatoes and a limited amount of grisly fatty poor quality lamb. An absolute outrage and the majority was untouched. The plates sat uncollected for at least 45 minutes and we resorted to feeding the pastry to the sparrows. The manager didn't seem to care that it was not enjoyed even when I emphasized that the dish was a major disappointment. My magret de canard was adaquete but wasn't special like before. The cheese platter was roughly cut and not served at a cold enough temperature to enjoy. Dessert of chocolate fondant was good but my coffee was not. Extremely poor service meant lunch took almost three hours - we were not asked if we enjoyed the meal not were we thanked for paying the overly expensive 78 euro bill. ||At the same time a neighbouring table had food spilled over a customer and wasn't offered a drink even it seemed.||Bad bad service and desperately needs to improve. I miss the old days!!!!

We had an annexe room which was not a problem as it was spacious and modern with a lovely wet room , no complaints at all . The dinner in the hotel restaurant was one of the worst meals I have ever had in France , the lemon chicken was a disgrace really as it consisted of mainly chicken skin and bones ! The vegetables were overcooked and lukewarm . The starters and the desserts were ok and the bottle of wine was the best bit of our meal . I would stay at the hotel again but I wouldn’t eat there unless they change the chef.

My wife and I led a group of 32 walkers in this area of France in April 2017. We visited this hotel in November 2016 in preparation for the trip, and shortly afterwards we booked rooms for the 32. However, when we reverted to them later, the hotel informed us that our “booking” was merely an enquiry, and, while initially stating that they were full for both nights that we had booked, they changed this to saying that they could take our whole group on the first night, but that a certain number of us would be farmed out to another hotel on the second night. The standards of the other hotel (Hotel Commerce) were considerably worse than this one, based on our group’s experience.||In all my dealings with hotel Minotiers, re the group, the initial reaction from the hotel staff was NO to any requests, however reasonable. They insisted that I pay for all the group’s hotel bill. When I asked in advance of our arrival, for the room numbers for the group, to aid checking in, I was told that this was not possible, and in any case, if checking in was too efficient, that the group would be delayed at the lifts! A few weeks prior to the break, I sent the hotel my calculation of the bill due, broken down between all the rooms, less the deposit of €1,000 already paid, but the hotel never confirmed the amount.||The rooms were fine. People were very happy with the rooms in the annexe. The food was very basic. Breakfast was poor, and when I went to pay for the group, the bill presented to me did not have deducted from the total, the deposit of €1,000, which I had made months earlier. Just as well that I was awake that morning!
