Logis Hotel-Restaurant Petry

Gorgeously renovated castle with beautiful gardens surrounding the property. Dinner options are limited in the surrounding area, but it is well worth it. We were surprised to find a children's playground on property, that was a huge bonus for our family.

We had pizzas and lasagne al forno in the restaurant. All were delicious and easily digestible, made with genuine and local ingredients. Their artisanal gelatos please the eye as much as they please the palate. Restrooms were well equipped and superbly clean. Loved the decor of the place.

When staying in this small town, this hotel a great place to stay. Our room was charming, but large and the hospitality was great. There is an excellent restaurant and bar attached. The food was great. We never bought the breakfast as there is a nice bakery/coffee shop just across the river. Be sure to take the chairlift up for great views (it is an easy walk to get to the base in toen) and then go see the castle (easy walk down a hill to get to the castle from top of chair). Then after seeing the castle it is an easy walk down the hill back into town. You can do it oppositely, but it is more work of course as it will be uphill. One day is plenty to see the town. A small parking lot offers free parking for hotel guests.

Basic hotel and facilities. Room is large and comfortable. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Off street car parking available. Food wasnt the best seem to speclise in pizzas. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. If you looking for a reasonable comfortable hotel at a reasonable price. This is the one

A nice terrace but very slow service. Ordered one drink and sat there for 2 hours and no one came to ask if I wanted anything else. Also the stuff should chill more. People want to visit bathroom and they come kinda shouting and running after you like you are some kind of thieve person leaving without paying. Let people go to bathroom and don’t make presumptions of people like that.

We came in during breakfast/lunch time when they barely had guests seated. The woman that was there was nice but didn't give us a menu or anything so we just asked if they had sandwiches and that's what we had. They were pretty good but nothing significant but the outdoor seating area itself is very beautiful and the surrounding town is so quaint.

It’s a beautiful hotel in an amazing location. Staff were always super helpful and nice, food was AMAZING, the hotel restaurant is literally the best restaurant in Vianden. Everything about the hotel is perfect except for the beds, since instead of double beds they have two individual beds that come together with a sheet. For me and my partner it was a bit uncomfortable but this is really the only bad thing to say about the place. 100% would recommend, just take that into account.
