Logis Hotel-Restaurant Petry

I left after 2 nights even though I had booked for 3 as I couldn't face the awful smell in the hotel any longer. The mixture of burnt cheese and disinfectant in the corridors was really vile. On arrival I assumed they had had a kitchen accident but no, it was permanent. Waking up at 3am with the noise from the road underneath the open window the first thing you got was the awful smell in the room. Also in room 205 is a water heating duct going up the wall so the temperature is always high and the window has to be kept open. |I didn't manage to eat in the busy pizzeria as I couldn't get a waiter to take an order so went elsewhere.|Breakfast was good and though a bit tired the hotel was clean. When I handed the key into reception and explained why I was leaving I was greeted with a cheery thumbs up and a 'Bye then' ..I have always had good experiences and value with the Logis group and so had booked direct with Hotel Petry. This definitely was not one of them.

Stayed here twice. Nice rooms, restaurant ok except pizzas which are very good. Staff very helpful. Parking available. Recommended.

It was perfect. We stayed here for 4 days with a big group. The location is amazing, the rooms are clean and big and the people are nice. The food was perfect as well. We ate every day at the restaurant of the hotel. The waiter did an awesome job serving and putting up with 10 people at the same time. We will definitely come back👌

This review is purely about the restaurant. The service is incredibly slow. We waited ages between drink orders, food orders and the serving of our food. As for the food; I had the apfelstrudel, which included apple skins and cores. Completely took the joy out of eating and not worth the wait.

We went here because our local host told us the food is lovely and so is the staff. She was right. We had lovely pizza here and some dessert and coffee.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay at Petry! Location is straight from a fairytale, hotel is adorable and staff kind and friendly. During the whole stay I felt like I am a guest at a friend's home, rather than a hotel. Breakfast service is very good and a meal at hotel restaurant is a must!

The pizzas were huge, really good and affordable compared to the other restaurants in town.

The reception took really good care of us when we came early. I want to give extra points for that. Got our room, visited the castle and even took a swim at the pool. The food is exelent and private parking for motorcycles. Food is exelent, specially pizzas mindblowing good. Thanks for great service for the whole crew.
