Loh Ba Kao Bay

Loh Ba Kao Bay is a very beautiful beach and a great place to relax. It’s located right next to SAii Phi Phi Island Village Resort, and the area feels calm and well taken care of. The water is a lovely turquoise color and looks very clean and clear. The sand is white, soft, and pleasant to walk on. One thing to note is that the beach is very shallow. You have to walk quite far out into the water, especially during low tide. Even 40–50 meters out, the water was still not very deep, which is nice for relaxing and walking around, but not ideal if you want to swim right away. The shallow water also makes it feel safe and peaceful. The beach itself is wide, open, and not too crowded, which makes it easy to enjoy the surroundings. Overall, it’s a very nice and scenic beach with a great tropical feeling. Loh Ba Kao Bay is definitely worth visiting, and I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

Paradise, hidden gem of phi phi with no loud music and no night clubs let it be as it is.

I stayed at Phi Phi Island Village Beach resort which is on the Bay. The most amazing clear and blue waters I have ever seen. One see different shades of blue from shore to deep water. The beach is very clean with soft white sands. One can spend hours looking into the sea. Very beautiful and must visit beach in Thailand.

Despite the rain, we hiked through the jungle canopy from the view point. The local trash is a crying shame. Littered all across the island. Just off the tourist areas. There are millions of visitors to this island and therein, a lot of money goes into the island entrance fees. Yet I can't understand why there's no investment in a refuge infrastructure. We moved to th4 stunningly beautoful Koh Lipe and it's no different. Shame.

The beach looks nice and it's pretty big. The problem is that the local resort just occupied and closed it for everyone except their guests. They literally put thugs at the entrance which will stop you and tell you to go away. Just look at the picture I took: the red area is private for this single hotel guests only and the green area is public for all other hotels around the island. What nonsense is this. I hope local authorities will do something about it.

After walking 2km from the north I discovered this beautiful bay with no one in it. I went for swim only to be told by the only other person around …. a muppet in the blue uniform that I can’t swim there, just for guests. Whatever. Not going to let that spoil my day. I go to the restaurant and order lunch and a cocktail for the same muppet to speak to the waiter and told me to leave. You have to be joking? Make me feel like a criminal. Refusing a paying customer. That spoiled my day. Muppet told me I could walk along the beach to leave. World has gone mad. If I ever return to PhiPhi to stay again I’ll be sure to avoid this area.

Pretty beach but mainly private, occupied by the resort, you can have a drink at the bar but that is it. There is another restaurant open to public at the far left of the beach. Turquoise water but very shallow. We walked there from Relax beach, 20 min, easy walk considering you have to walk through the jungle. There are better beaches in Phi Phi where you can relax and sunbathe.

The best place to stay on koh Phi Phi, no crowds of tourists. Stunning.
