Very small and slightly querky. Great for a few days, but too small for longer stays. Breakfast and restaurant were super. A very friendly and a nice place to stay. Free WiFi worked perfect for our group. Ear plugs maybe for light sleepers as very old building without noise isolation

We stayed at this hotel for three weeks this July. It was wonderful. First of all it was super clean and safe. Rooms were cleaned and bed sheets exchanged every day unless you decline and decide to stay in and relax. Alberto at the front desk was extremely helpful in every aspect from communication of our online reservations, info on the bus routes to obtaining taxis, and made our check in and check out easy and stress free. The restaurant was was wonderful with excellent fresh seafood, wines and a fantastic port selection. Service was was perfect with attentive waiters Rodrigo and Manuel, and menus in multiple languages. The owners always welcomed us as we entered the hotel and restaurant on every occasion and even allowed my wife to store her medication in a refrigerator in the kitchen. Yes, its a smaller hotel but it does have a elevator and air conditioning in the rooms.

Dates stayed 22nd July to 31 July 2024 Fabulous 2 star hotel run by Alberto and his friendly staff. Located in a side street with easy access to other restaurants and bars even though it has its own restaurant where the locals come to dine. The food was excellent as was the service. My Spanish was limited, but Alberto and his staff were very patient and most spoke English. They were happy to help out with some advice in places to go and things to see and do. Room was a little small (but that was to be expected for a small hotel), the room was clean and ready when I arrived. Thank you Alberto and many thanks to your staff for making my stay an enjoyable one.

Just home from a 3 night stay at this small but lovely hotel. Located in Calle Estrella, it is right in the middle of the city centre and its many brilliant bars and restaurants and close to the beautiful marina and beach. The room is simple but immaculate and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and despite its central location, the noise from the crowds outside was minimal. Eating at the restaurant is a must. I come from a Spanish family and know my Spanish food and theirs was exceptional and very reasonably priced with the bonus of being able to quickly collapse in bed after all that food washed down with several glasses of Albariño! The staff were really attentive and very friendly. You wont be disappointed.

Hotel Lois is located in the city center close to the harbor and the main plaza, Praza de María Pita. The room is stark white with a modern vibe, plenty of storage space, but short on outlets. The room is furnished with a comfortable queen sized bed and a small desk. There was a safe but it was locked. The Wi-Fi connection wasn’t working at first but once we found the right person they were able to reboot it. With the windows closed the room is quiet and dark. The bathroom was good sized for a Euro bathroom, but this may not be standard as it was equipped with fixtures for the disabled. The shower had good hot water and pressure. Not much counter space but a small table next to the sink. The hotel also offers a discount at the nearby Cantones Parking garage, 12 Euros per night instead of 24. ||The breakfast buffet is good for a hotel of this size and quality including a selection of sliced and whole fruit, cheese and charcuterie, house-made sweets, bread and jams, boxed cereal, bread, nuts and dried fruit, packaged pastry, yogurt and fresh squeezed orange juice. Good coffee is individually made and brought to the table.

Gluten and lacto free dishes, the food is delicious. Staff is very friendly. The restaurant is very well located, the tower of Hercules is 30 mins away walking, and a coruña harbour is 10 mins away walking. You can bring the dog and eat on the terrace. I recommend it 100%.

We had a really comfortable stay at this lovely hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location at the start of a pedestrian street - with plenty of eating and shopping options! It's supposedly a 2 star hotel, but it delivers 4-5 star service!! We were provided with very detailed information (directions and instructions on car parking) before our arrival. The ladies on reception were super helpful - moving our luggage to our room while we parked the car, bringing wine glasses to our room, and providing us with recommendations about restaurants and activities. Our room was a reasonable size, the bed was comfortable and although the bathroom was small, it was functional. Note that there is a bit of noise from the street at night - best to sleep with the windows closed and turn on the airconditioning!

Just spent 6 nights in this lovely little hotel in a perfect position in la coruna on the edge of the old town busy streets of bar and restaurants, we had the superior double with a balcony on the top floor which was a suite with sofa ,air con etc and we loved it , a few downsides when you sat on the balcony there was a large office block just across the street that overlooked you so didnt feel as relaxing as it should be when sitting outside. one night we were woken very early by the seagulls dancing on the glass roof above the hallway but this luckily for us was just one night .breakfast buffet was good with great freshly made coffees ,but the only reason i gave this hotel 4 and not 5 stars was the man in charge pablo was just not very friendly with us ,he was very helpful if we asked him for any advice but not once in six days did he engage in any conversation even when serving us breakfast when we were the only 2 customers. he probably did not like me but small hotels are normally known for friendliness but i would still recommend this hotel
