One of the must-go place in Macau for all canned fish lovers. Great variety, good price and great quality. Super friendly and special compliment to 歡姐 for her 5 star services.

It was nice to try the canned fish before buying, and they had a great selection. The canned fish are imported from Portugal and would make great gifts. Unfortunately, the cans we got had some dents in them. We should have checked the cans before taking them from the shopkeeper, but we didn't think to at the time. The cans were a bit pricier, but this makes sense since they come from Portugal. This is a hard to find brand in the United States, so they would make great gifts for others who may not have access to Portuguese canned fish.

Canned Portuguese fish shop located in Taipa food street. Was attracted to the colorful packagings on display. Some canned fish samples were available in the shop which they gave out on pieces of saltine crackers. The products were on the pricey side but I guess that's what you pay for quality gourmet food. Also, the attractive packaging makes them great souvenirs too! They have not only canned sardines but mackerel, salmon and herring too. Too much selection, not possible to see everything. If you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the shop's pet cat too!

A small shop offering a variety of tinned fish with friendly service, but prices are on the high side. It means "I spent hundreds of dollars on tinned food alone". A rather luxury for some tinned treats!

As a number of reviewers on google have already mentioned, this store is a tourist-only hard-sell overpriced shop. Honestly I can't blame them - if people are willing to pay 88 MOP for a can of sardines then power-to-the-shop I suppose. But you should know that exactly the same products can be bought in local supermarkets for about 18-22 MOP. This store will tell you that no - what they have are 'special editions'. "We have extra spicy! Not just spicy!" Ok fine. But the reality is you're paying 4x more if you shop here than if you shop in a supermarket. If you're a tourist, you probably don't know or care. Interestingly, if the shop people would just admit it, I'd rate this store more highly. But because they lie to you, act pretentious, and pretend to get angry when you call them out on their pricing, they get a one star. I honestly wonder why they bother.

A very cute shop selling canned fish. I was quite amused by the sight of a resident cat sitting in the shop, surrounded by many cans of fish which it wouldn't be able to eat. The packaging of the products are very attractive, but they are unfortunately quite pricey.

Apr 2024: shop was smaller than I thought. Had lotsa variety and we were allowed to taste before buying. One will definitely get attracted to the nice packaging and taste test. Felt the items were priced highly for the type of product. Marketed as souvenir food even though can get a much cheaper can of sardines from the supermarket

Loja Das Conserva is a Lisbon based shop that specialises in canned fish and other seafoods from various regions of Portugal. The tins are beautifully packaged and make for interesting purchases for anyone seeking popular Made in Portugal foods and gifts. Plenty of posted information about the various canneries being represented as well as ingredients and flavours of the canned fish that you may be considering for purchase. You will find the directly on Rua do Cunha in the heart of Taipa Village. Opening hours are 10am to 10pm daily.
