Loka Siargao Bar & Restaurant

Loka is a great spot for lunch after surfing. The atmosphere is fantastic, and Zaira provides excellent customer service with a warm and pleasing personality. I ordered the burger steak, which was delicious, although it had a bit too much gravy for my taste. The egg, however, was nicely done. Overall, a wonderful experience! Mango is great!

The fried chicken burger was a bit oily and had a strong ginger flavor. I love ginger, but I wasn't expecting it in a chicken burger. On the other hand, their gambas served with focaccia bread was amazing! Plus, I love that it’s right on the beachfront!

Loka is hands down one of the best restaurants on the island! The food is fantastic, especially the fresh seafood. The atmosphere is incredible, with beautiful views of the ocean waves. The owner is super friendly and makes you feel welcome. If you’re looking for a great meal in a stunning setting, this is the place to go!

I ordered pumpkin soup and a Caffè latte on a rainy morning. After some time, I'm wondering what happened to my order, and it seems that I have agreed to have my coffee and soup served at the same time. Since the soup is taking quite a while to prepare, I asked for the coffee to be served already. After about 5 minutes, I was told there aren't enough ingredients to make the pumpkin soup. I cancelled the order and just settled with my coffee. The male server paid attention to my request for unsweetened coffee. They accept cash and gcash payments. There were three attempts to send gcash. The first account has exceeded the limit, the second one has an invalid QR code, and the third one is a number that worked. They play lounge beach music in the background. Nice place to chill and read a book.

What we ordered: Pasta bolognese: still raw ( hard pasta) Skewers (pork and chicken): good but the dip sauce was tasteless Mango peach yakult: refreshing but I didn’t tasted the yakult. Beer: rusty San Miguel light Location: beach front Service: was ok Atmosphere: was ok kinda dark inside even it only was 3pm( needed of couple of lights)

Honestly don’t understand how this place got so many good reviews. The vibe is definitely on point, although if you want to overlook Jacking Horse you need to go a bit further. If you’re not a local you have to pay 100pesos to get to Cloud 9, which is understandable, but then if you’re ordering food at Loka and want to sit on the waterfront (which is maybe 5m away from the regular tables) the staff says you have to pay 500pesos per person to sit there, which is a joke and I think management has done something wrong here 😂 Pizza at Shaka is infinitely better (and doesn’t come with hair in it). The staff doesn’t care one bit - had to go to the counter to order food and to get the bill, as apart from bringing our food they didn’t come to our table once even though there was literally 5 people behind the counter having the time of their lives. I gave two stars for food just because the chicken wing burger is actually good. Altogether, probably the worst place I’ve been to in Siargao.

The atmosphere, food, and drinks are excellent definitely worth a try! The staff are very accommodating, with Zaira being particularly attentive and cheerful. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience that makes you feel welcome and well taken care of.
