Yelp
This place is pretty damn close to the perfect living room, so a good thing that they open nice and early. Urhm, well for most city fellows 9 am is early enough... Lets list the features shall we? A waft of coffee, fresh bread, sweet marmalade and scrambled egg when you walk in, check. A cosy corner with two comfy chairs, check. A long table with papers and magazines, check. A simple menu that will help you through the day from breakfast to lunch and on to a slice of home baked pie with your afternoon tea, check!
This is your local, the coffee shop you want to find on your street corner. Here you can unwind, the minimal interior helps: a beautiful wooden finish with gold and bronze details, wild flowers on the tables and a friendly service. Off course the coffee is top notch, but they also have some cool drinks from local suppliers and lemonades from the Fentimans brewery. Share the table at the back and flick through the magazines, a big plus for the English titles. When it is free, pick the best spot in the corner by the entrance. Sink in the armchair; sip your coffee and glaze over the people passing by. All we want to know is when the first Sunday roast will be on so we can look forward to a perfect Sunday afternoon.
