We ate at this Lokal twice over the holidays. Both times without a reservation, although reservations are probably a good idea. The menu changes often but always has the Czech classics. We were all happy with our dishes. The lentil/sausage dish was particularly good for New Year’s Day brunch. Beer is great and prices feel fair. This place is always busy with people gathered outside drinking beer. I will be back.

Delicious food, nice servers. We walked in around 14:45 to have a late lunch and were told we could have a table for a little more than 1 hour and it was reserved after that. But shortly after we were seated, a server told us that the party that reserved the table had arrived and asked if we were okay sharing the table. We said it was fine, we would have obviously rather not shared the table but didn't want to make the server's life difficult. The party came to the table, talked amongst themselves for a few minutes and then got the server and were seated at a different table. We thought it was odd that they agreed to seat them in the first place when they were an hour early for their reservation. If the table had been empty, then fine. But we had been seated there, so they should have been told they'd need to wait for their reservation time.

Great place, classic czech cousine for affordable prices and nice location right next to small park. I came here with a kid ready to take the food out since I was not expecting them to have baby chairs. Not only did they have baby chair, they also had kids menu. They placed us to the back saloon area of the restaurant, where we found other children as well. Very surprised and therefore highly recommend not only for adult tourists but also for the families with small small children.

We went there for the new year dinner, we were a group of 6! I have to say the food was good, we loved 90% of the dishes we ordered! The atmosphere was very average to say the least, nothing special! Not even on new year’s! The service was mediocre, although I get it its new year’s eve so we didn’t make a big fuss when we were completely neglected by the staff or, when one of them was lowkey rude! I might be coming back out of curiosity to see if the whole experience is different when its not a big occasion!

Very quick service. Lovely food at very reasonable prices. Came on a Friday evening. Reservations highly recommended as it fills up fast after 6.30pm. Had the fried cheese and the pork schnitzel. Simple presentation but divine in taste. Also tried the plum brandy. Strong and fragrant. Raspberry beer was refreshing.

One of the best Schnitzel I have in Praha! The potato salad made a perfect side dish to balance the flavor. The traditional Czechia biscuit is also incredible, especially with the cream on it. Everything was great, but I should have order some ice in my apple cider. It would make it perfect!

This Czech restaurant is your typical but ultra-hip spot, boasting great beer. The service was friendly, but the atmosphere was hectic due to the bustling crowd, so it's essential to make a reservation. The noise level can be quite high because of the lively ambiance. The appetizers are solid, especially the beef tartare on toast with mayonnaise, which was particularly good. The chicken breast schnitzel was decent, although I prefer it thinly pounded, whereas what was served was quite thick. However, the potato side dish was excellent. One thing to note is that the beer keeps flowing without asking, so you just need to know when to say no.
