Lokál Pod Divadlem

I had the pleasure of dining at Lokál pod Divadlem, where I experienced a delicious array of traditional Czech dishes. The food was authentic, hearty, and packed with flavor. The standout for me was the fried cheese served with perfectly boiled potatoes and a side of tartar sauce. The cheese was crisp on the outside and gooey on the inside, while the potatoes were tender and well-seasoned, garnished with fresh parsley. The tangy tartar sauce added a delightful balance to the rich flavors. Another highlight was the Czech tripe soup, which was comforting and flavorful. The broth was rich and well-spiced, with the tripe cooked to perfection, making it a satisfying and traditional choice. This is a great typical czech pub with amazing food, would recommend this place for a traditional meal with beer. The fried cheese was excellent, only a very thin coating, gooey in the middle. Delicious eggnog liqueur. Thumbs up for the limitless sides - they will bring you extra sauce / potatoes etc if you ask for more (we needed more tartare sauce for the fried cheese). Good vibes, great service.

This is a great restaurant to try out. The good service and attentive staff make it a pleasant experience. There was a cosy atmosphere with fellow guests having fun. I had a delicious soup and the dish was wonderful! I ended my evening with a great sense of satisfaction. Worthy of 5 stars!

Tryed traditional Czech Foods and Beer, loved the Beer Eventhough I am not a Beer person and the meal was fine

It looks like in all the other Lokál pubs, but thanks to the outside seating the atmosphere was actually pretty good. The beer was great as always. There were a few mistakes with our orders, but it was understandable given how many people there were. There are definitely more interesting pubs in Pilsen, but it's okay.

The place is really artistic and beautiful. We didn’t have the luck to try goulash, because it wasn’t available, and we needed to wait for the food quite long, but both - the food and the beer were great :)

Fried cheese we ordered had an unpleasant taste note. This is the only non meat main course option you’d find on the menu. The cheese cake with plums was good 👍 however. The service was quick and professional.
