Great atmosphere, good food, lots of drinks options. I had the boar and it was excellent. My friends had the beaver stew and liked it too. The local beer was really good and the quince wine paired very well with my apple cheese dessert. I recommend this place and if you are downstairs, watch your head on the way down. We paid about 180 euros for 2 starters shared, 3 rounds of beers/wine , 3 main dishes, 1 dessert and 3 dessert drinks. The waitress spoke a perfect English and gave us good recommendations.

A historical restaurant serving medieval-inspired dishes. Their game meals are especially excellent, we ordered the venison (~25€) and mix plates (~35€). The meats were tender, side dishes tasty, great sauces and portions big. They also offer a great selection of meads. The restaurant's terrace and decor is also very charming. I can only recommend to go there if you are curious to discover the local cuisine.

This is a lovely place serving traditional Lithuanian food in a traditional location. The cellar filled with separate dining rooms dates back to the 1500’s. We felt the food was prepared to perfection and our service was top notch. It is a Michelin recommended restaurant so it’s wise to make reservations in advance.

Very attentive staff, great medieval style menu. The food was very well prepared, something more unique to try was the nettle wine, which was really tasty. Areas in the terrace as well as inside are clean and pleasant. Would come here again!

I wish there was a 4.5 star rating available. The food was good but not 5-star, except for the rye bread. The crayfish soup had a subtle flavor, not exciting for a soup. Some salt helped but not enough. That's what prompted the 4-stars. The mushroom dumplings were better, tender and more flavorful but still didn't make the grade for 5-stars. The service was friendly, prompt, professional and does merit 5-stars. The rye bread was hands down my favorite, along with the breadsticks. Great atmosphere, especially in the garden area.

If you're looking for a place to try Lithuanian dishes, Lokys was great. Although a bit touristic upfront, the staff is great! I went for the Lokys House Regale so I could try all the game meat options at once and it did not disappoint. Paired this with a Lithuanian Rowanberry wine. Finished with the Creamy Rye Bread Delicacy for dessert and a glass of the Currant Chokecherry wine. I wouldn't go regularly but I would suggest friends give it a try.

Really good restaurant with tasty, hearty food and generous portions. Good place to try local/Lithuanian dishes We started with the classic Šaltibarščiai. Quite tasty and the portion was bigger than we expected. The seasoning for the accompanying potatoes was also really nice We then continued with the game sausages. It came with a sauerkraut salad, mashed potatoes and a horseradish sauce. The combination worked really well and the sausage was really tasty. We also had the potato zeppelins and for drinks we had a jug of kvass Unfortunately we didn't have any space left for dessert but we'll probably be back by the end of our vacation

Lokys is the perfect place if you’re looking to experience classic Lithuanian cuisine in an old-world, almost medieval tavern atmosphere. The setting takes you back in time with its rustic charm and traditional décor. I had the venison, which was delicious, and for the more adventurous, they even serve beaver meat—a rare find! Definitely recommend it to anyone wanting an authentic taste of Lithuania’s culinary traditions in a unique and historic setting.
