Lovely place! My partner and I had breakfast here, and the food was quick and delicious! We were served by Lidia and another lovely gentleman who made our coffees, and they were very friendly, warm and super attentive. I would highly recommend 💯

I stopped by earlier today. The waitress (Sylvia if I remember) was kind and we had good conversation. The restaurant is cute and I was hoping to eat-in but it’s a bit small with no A/C it was a hot day so I got take-out. The food was amazing and portion sizes are great. Will definitely come back again.

Ernestine was a super amazing! Very patient, welcoming, quick and efficient. The Floor manager was exceptional and I was impressed by his way to support his coworkers in and out of the restaurant! I've never been more impressed by customer service as a whole. The team here is great. Now the food? GOD IS GOOD because the chef is blessed and highly favored!! The ingredients are fresh 🙌🏽 I'd come back here a million times. It's a 10/10 for me. Zebra burger 10/10 Ostrich Skewer 9.8/10 Chicken penne pasta 7/10 Salmon Ceviche 8.9/10 Forgot to take pictures! But the plating is modern and well executed. P.S. We walked in and asked for take-away but then plans changed and new friends came to join. Long story short, they plated the food from the takeaway, but not the lazy way which was impressive; truly above and beyond!!

Popped in for a brekkie before browsing a record store in long street. Lalays did not disappoint! Attentive staff who clearly care about their joint. The French toast is a MUST try ! Traditional English style breakfast was the best I’ve had in ages. Scrambled eggs on point ! Well done guys, keep it up !

The staff here this morning made my day! So friendly and welcoming the music they are playing is taking me back to my younger years. In the middle of a sometimes cold Cape Town, they warmed my heart. Thank you guys.

Awesome little spot my family and I went for breakfast. Ester our server was so personable and sweet. She made sure to make my son and nephew feel like they were eating at home. Low music in the background was great for having conversations. The food was great portion were perfect for breakfast. Recommend every time if you want a place thats not main stream. And in right on Long street in the middle of all the action.
