I visited Lola’s Pergola last month with a group of friends for a casual mid-week dinner. The restaurant is located on the west side of Cullen Bay, right next to the docking area. It was a fairly busy evening, with most of the tables occupied. I had the Barramundi fish and chips and a beer. The fish was delicious with a mild, buttery flavor and a flaky texture. The dish came with a side salad and a couple of complimentary sauces. The portion was big enough to be filling. Overall, I can definitely recommend the fish and chips. The pizzas also looked good, though I didn’t try them. As for drinks, I noticed a wide variety of beers, including some locally brewed ones — so if you enjoy trying local treats, it’s a good place to come. Food and drink orders are placed at the bar but brought to your table. We were told there would be about an hour's wait for the food, but it arrived in around 40 minutes. The staff was friendly and professional. Lola’s Pergola has a laid-back atmosphere, enhanced by some quirky, luna park-themed decorations. The boats docked nearby and the view of the bay add a nice ocean vibe to the setting. Food and drink prices were average, though they also offered some 10$ specials.

Great place on the wharf area. Excellent food 🥘 n a relaxed atmosphere. We had a couple pizzas and sides with a glass of wine for dinner. Staff were friendly and parking easy. Watching the sun go down on the marina was great! Plenty of fans around too, since most of the venue is “outside” but under cover. I did see an indoor area but everyone was sitting outside when I visited.

Really good vibes here. The pizza is delicious. Especially vegetarian and Margherita. The staff are super friendly and it is nice to sit by the water. The cocktails are also delicious. Plenty of vegetarian options available🤗

Lovely open bar on the water at Cullen Bay. Had the fish and chips. Lots of comfy lounge seating plus high tables with stools. Lovely staff and good food.

We came here for dinner whilst visiting Mum in August, she was familiar with this restaurant and thought we would like it. First impressions were great, beautiful location, lovely place with great comfy seating, however that's where the good ends for me. Firstly, mine and my husbands dinner were late coming out, much later that my Mum's and her friend's. Finally a staff member from the bar came to inform us that they were waiting on payment from us, so had put a hold on our order. I showed proof that the payment had been made, by showing my banking app. No apologies for the late meal! Secondly, A very loud intoxicated man with no shirt on and very short shorts was making a lot of noise at the bar, right near our table, He seemed to be friends with the bar staff, as they had come to be with him, getting photo's. Then this man came over to our table and tried to sit in my Mum's walker. We had to make a real effort to stop him, as he was a large man and we were worried he would break it. I had to get up from my seat to tell him to go away! Not sure I'd come back, which is a shame, as it's a lovely restaurant.

Good place to meet up with friends for drinks and a good pub meal when in the area. Nice view. Separate area for smokers. Plenty of seating and tables.

Lola's had a great vibe, very busy place. The staff were very good. We waited over an hour for our meal and then we had to ask for a meal they had forgotten. Great atmosphere.

Yelp
Atmosphere is devine. Perfect location. Got to see fish in the marina whilst eating dinner. Wine is delicious - especially since we aren't use to shiraz being stored in the fridge and served cold. Meals were okay - very filling. Ellie provided the most amazing service. Was super friendly on our arrival. Always had a smile on her face. Went above and beyond to make our night great.

Yelp
Fancy strolling around a fancy marina in mellow Darwin and seeing this carnivalesque amusement pub! What the Doctor ordered or what?!! Kids were playing on the carousel & rocking horses in the afternoon but I can imagine it being more of an adult playground at night... a decent selection of craft beers. Good vegetarian friendly menu with great salads & gluten free options washed down with a delicious Prancing Pony Pale Ale. All enjoyed while looking out over the lovely Cullen Bay Marina. I wish they were playing more appropo music than the techno that was pumping & the staff seemed overworked but their service didn't suffer for it. Will be sending anyone heading to Darwin here!

Yelp
Won't come back here ever again. I don't recommend it for any Marines. If you order a drink you don't like it (which the drinks are over priced and not too good) they won't let you exchange or refund. Don't waste your money.

Yelp
We came for dinner on a Saturday (after watching the sunset at Mindel Beach) and liked it so much, we came back again on Sunday. There's a little something for everyone here. A little girl was having a birthday party on Saturday and all the kids were playing on the carousel horses. I saw a couple that looked like they were on their 2nd date. There was a group of guys sitting at the bar outside overlooking the marina who looked like they just came back from a fishing trip. The bartenders were all super attractive (if that's your thing), though like real people, not like the movie Coyote Grill or Coyote Point or whatever that was. People can sit at the bar, in booths, at tables, at picnic tables, or on the sofa. The weather was mild when we went, but for hot days it looks like they have a fleet of fans around the place to cool folks off. Oh, and the food... Well, it's mostly bar food. The Katherine Traveler burger (beef patty, cheese, fried egg, bacon, beet, arugula) was well executed, but the Aussie beef tastes a little gamey to my American palette. The pumpkin and pine nut salad was much better. Both were nicely presented. Primarily its burgers, and the fries (chips) were also good. Full bar, lots of local craft beers and wines. I recall '80's Hits music (Hall & Oates, Prince, Michael Jackson) in the background one night, 70's music (Stevie Wonder, EW&F) another night, but subtle, not too loud, if you notice music, you'll pick up on it, if you don't normally notice, it will be invisible to you. If we come back to Darwin, this is a place we would surely visit again.

Yelp
We came in for an early lunch, the food was ok. The kitchen wouldn't do modifications (ingredient removal). View is great, but the experience was disturbed by a grumpy server.

Yelp
A lovely location right on the water. Lola's is a great place to have dinner, drinks, catch up with friends and watch the sunset. The location is perfect, in Cullen Bay. It's kid friendly, food is great and the pricing is on point. Big servings - great for big eaters too! The staff are friendly and all around awesome vibe throughout the place. We were sitting outside but it was comfortable because of the huge fan and air conditioners all around. A definitely must if you're a local in Darwin or if you're visiting like me. I'll be back again!
