Lolli's (Off the Square)

While passing through Ozark, Missouri today, I stopped at Lollis, right off the square across from Ozark City Hall. They’re known for their in-house meatball sub and a lineup of from-scratch desserts, so I had to give it a try. I ordered the meatball sub with a side of their baked beans. I met Kelly, the owner’s husband, who was very friendly, welcoming, and quick to offer recommendations. Ordering took about a minute, and my food was out in less than five — impressive turnaround. The presentation was nice, and overall the meatball sub was good. The meatballs themselves are smoked by Kelly, which gives them a great flavor. My only suggestion would be the bread — it was a little light for a sandwich with that much sauce. I think a more rustic, sturdier hoagie-style roll would really elevate it and hold everything together better. Now let’s talk about those beans. The barbecue baked beans were absolutely top notch — and I don’t say that lightly. Kelly uses a seven-bean mix, and they were outstanding. Easily the star of the meal for me. I liked them so much I brought a quart home. The desserts looked fantastic as well. I didn’t order one this time, but the strawberry cheesecake and New York cheesecake both looked amazing. If you’re ever in Ozark or just passing through, Lollis a solid stop right on the square. Grub Score 8.0/10.0

We had a great experience at Lolli’s (Off the Square). The food was delicious, portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade and fresh. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. One thing that really stood out was their giving wall. They offer the option to pre-pay for a meal that can be used by someone in need, which is a great way to support the community. They also have excellent kids menu options, making it a great spot for families. Amazing food, kind people, and a business that genuinely cares. We will definitely be back!

Super friendly owners, great food and a clean and well decorated interior. Would highly recommend their smoked meatball sub and their beans!

We stopped on our way to Branson and had an amazing lunch. My husband had the Caesar Salad and I had a loaded baked potato with burnt ends. It was amazing. The restaurant is quaint and the service was super timely and friendly. We will definitely be back.

What a cool little spot! Me and my gals went for brunch and we had a delicious meal! We all got soups and sandwiches. They have many different options to choose from, which is nice as we have a vegetarian gal with us. We even noticed they are very dog friendly. We loved to see that, especially being close to downtown! Loved it!

Food was just as amazing as the service! This has to be my new favorite BBQ place. The lady that served us was so nice and made our experience that much better. The food was the cherry and sprinkles on top! I highly recommend! Food is phenomenal!

This place was lovely. The staff was all wonderful. Very cute mom and pop shop. I will be making a a second stop before I leave town because they were so sweet. Should definitely visit and enjoy the atmosphere.

Small private establishment with great food. There is a limited menu with daily lunch specials. We had the strawberry pecan salad and pimento cheese on croissant. There was enough of both to satisfy our appetite. Only negative would be they do not serve tap water. You have to buy a bottle for $1 or other beverage. But a good deal as food servings are good generous. There is a small outside patio.
