Lom Lam Eco Village Happy Homestay

I had a great time in Lom Lam Eco Village. Perfect place if you are looking for a Cambodian homestay experience. The family living there is really nice, many kids playing and running everywhere. Good local food. The owner also drove me to the Khmer wedding of one his friend, nice experience. The homestay is in the countryside, many beautiful landscape nearby. Recommend !

17km far from Siem reap town. On the way to Tonlesap floating village and near from Roluos temples. Quite Authentic Cambodian Homestay, ||Young owner here, Lom Lam can arrange various kind of activities in village, communication with villager, farming experience, teach language to small kids in village, traditional cooking, etc. ||There is one private room and big dormitory space. There is one kitchen for customer using and we can cook by ourself.||Bit far from town, so that you can ask to arrange Tonlesap tour or Angkor temple tour together, then you can save transportation fee. Mr. Lom Lam has their own Tuktuk. ||New opened homestay and still keep non-touristic authentic Cambodian hospitality.

A authentic experience in the Cambodian country site. The family welcomed us very heartwarming. Pram, who speaks fluent English, and his relatives do everything to make you feel comfortable at there home. There is a wooden cottage in the garden with 2 beds, sofa, fan. Clean shower and toilet available at the end of the garden. Nothing fancy, but the real Cambodian feeling. Back to basic. Even a patio where you can have dinner or breakfast is at your service. We paid 20$ for our overnight stay without negotiating. The location is good for site seeing in the rice paddy’s, explore the village, local market, local school, book a boat trip to the floating village…. Here you can detox from the hussel of chaotic and crowded Siem Reap. A unique, overwhelming experience where you get in touch with the real Cambodian people and there daily life.

Lam happy home stay is a real lodging in the Cambodian family, where you will feel like yourself is a part of their family , and eat with their children, experiment the local life is really good! Lam is a very kind person, sharing and explaining the life of the countryside, share us a lot of thing. The more beautiful sunset that I saw not in the Angkor City , is in the vast rural rice fields. You can saw the whole star sky at night. If you like to experience the local life, it is recommended to stay here for a night, Lam is also a driver for TuTu, you can send your facebook to him, he could contact you !

If you ask Mr. Lom Lam (Lom Lam Home stay) in advance, he can arrange village tour to look around his village. He was born and glow up in this village, so that he knows very clear about traditional culture and life style in village. Home stay is bit far from Siem reap town, but If you ask him to arrange his tuktuk tour to go Angkor wat temples at daytime, he will send us Free for his Lom Lam Home stay.

This review relates to Mr Lom Lam’s Tuk Tuk service. Mr Lam looked after me for 4 days by providing his Tuk Tuk service. He organises a half day tour around Siem Reap and its environs showing me the area and the museums and lifestyle. He also provide airport arrival and departure as well as a local service around the city. He was honest, reliable, knowledgeable and above all, friendly and a great travel companion. We had a fantastic time with Lom, an amazing cultural experience, he collected us from our hotel and brought us to his beautiful village where we stayed with his family In a gorgeous wooden bungalow , fed us amaaazzzing vegetarian food (on request) took us around the local market,floating village, met rice farmers, lots of local children,be prepared to wake up early,he brought us back to the airport via dinner in Siam Reap.||Lam is very laid back, respectful and honest. A tour with him is highly recommended!||!Enjoy

Very friendly and lovely family. And the price is average. The house is quite clean and also the bathrooms. close to the local market,very nice sunrise and sunset in rice fields. Good country side foods, Thanks to the lovely family.
