I had a wonderful stay at Lomani! The staff are friendly and attentive and make sure everyone is well looked after. The rooms are very clean and have a beautiful outlook. I enjoyed the activities, particularly the reef snorkelling. Our guide took us to a different location each time. The food and drinks were delicious! Big shout out to the chefs, bartenders and all the wait staff! I would recommend Lomani Island Resort and am already planning a return trip!

A Truly Magical Stay My partner and I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at Lomani Island Resort and it was truly one of the most incredible experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality. The resort itself is simply outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every part of our stay was perfect—always helpful and incredibly accommodating. Our accommodation was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and exuded luxury and comfort in every detail. Waking up to those views each day felt like a dream. The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. As a surfer, the only small downside is the cost of surfing—it’s around $250–$300 FJD for a surf session, which can add up. But even with that, the overall experience was so incredible that it still feels worth every cent. We are already dreaming of our return to Lomani. It was unforgettable in every way. Thank you to everyone at the resort—you made our trip so special. See you again!

From the moment we stepped off the boat, we were met by the Lomani Island Resort staff and were taken care of until we left the island. This beautiful hotel in the Fiji Islands felt like a hidden paradise—quiet, peaceful, and completely removed from the noise and stress of city life. The setting was idyllic, surrounded by natural beauty and calm. The staff were warm, polite, and genuinely caring, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. Every meal we had was fresh and delicious. We spent our days swimming in the sea, which was warm and inviting no matter the hour. Evenings were best spent lounging on the beach, watching the stunning sunsets. This place is ideal for anyone looking to unwind, relax, and recharge. We left feeling not only physically rested but also mentally refreshed. Highly recommend for couples seeking peace, natural beauty, and genuine island hospitality.

The fact this was our third visit pretty much sums up how much we love Lomani! It was the first time with our (adult) kids and they also had the most amazing trip. The staff are just the best - and welcome you like old friends. We couldn’t keep the kids away from the water - snorkelling swimming paddle boarding kayaking! It was just the best. And all the wonderful staff in reception and the amazing restaurant ❤️ Wananavu vinaka 🙏

I can’t say enough about this amazing resort in such a beautiful setting. We stayed in a Beach Front Bure and it was amazing. Beautiful swimming beach. Helpful friendly staff, Lovely food. Great pool area. The Spa facility was amazing and our couples massage out by the beach was spectacular. |Huge bonus that many free activities … the free snorkling out on the reefs (6 diff reefs in 6 different days) was definitely a major highlight of our stay.|The staff were incredible…..

Wow what can I say, Lomani Island is paradise on earth! We stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon, we were welcomed to a beautiful song, coconuts & our room beautifully decorated. The staff were so incredibly lovely & had such a big impact on our stay. We loved the snorkeling trips, kayaking & the food was incredible. This will always be a special place for us, we can’t wait to return one day. Thank you! ☺️

After experiencing a week of beautiful love and care by the staff at Castaway resort, we were shocked by the non existent welcome we received when we transferred to Lomani. We were left to fend for ourselves in the shallows outside of the activities hut on the beach. Reception wasn’t ready for us in any way. I thought that overall Lomani had a sterile feel to it. The staff at Lomani go through the motions but lack warmth and just don’t seem to care that much. The cleaning staff were by far the most helpful and interested in making us happy with our room. Lomani is physically very beautiful and that goes a long way to making up for what the staff lack. Our room and it’s own garden on the beach was superb. The outlook is breathtakingly beautiful. However the food and service in the restaurant is just not good enough for a five star resort. I found the dinner menu very uninspiring. What we did end up eating was tasteless and bland food but we ate it because we had a breakfast and dinner package. My advice to other travellers is to eat out at the restaurants at the nearby Plantation resort. Thankfully Lomani’s breakfast menu was better with the made to order egg dishes but I couldn’t believe that the only fruit on offer at breakfast were sad looking slices of watermelon, apples and hard inedible guava and on one morning some cut up orange. I love to have fruit for breakfast! The management of Lomani need to reassess their staff training processes and through their staff somehow inject some love into the place!

From the moment we arrived, Lomani felt like more than just a resort, it felt like home. I came to propose to my partner, and thanks to the incredible staff, it turned into the most special experience of our lives. I was nervous planning from New Zealand, but the reception team went above and beyond, offering reassurance and even some great proposal tips that helped everything go perfectly.||||We stayed in a Beachfront Pool Bure, and the room was outstanding, waking up and walking straight onto the beach felt like something out of a movie. Having a private pool just outside made it even more surreal. The bure also had a private garden which added to the sense of total privacy and luxury.||||The staff deserve their own review! Every single person we met took the time to get to know us, remembered our names from day one, and genuinely cared about making our stay exceptional. They are the true heart of Lomani and made our experience unforgettable.||||Our personal highlight? Taking bikes and riding out to nearby resorts like Musket Cove and Plantation Island. I hadn’t ridden in over 10 years, and doing it together with my partner along the coastal tracks was the perfect mix of nostalgia and adventure.||||We also enjoyed the wide range of free and paid activities on offer. From kokoda prep and cava making to dolphin safaris and snorkelling, there’s no shortage of things to do. The Sandbar Picnic was the standout, cruising out in the morning and being the first to leave footprints on a sandbar in the middle of the ocean was something truly magical.||||Lomani’s newly opened spa had only been operating for three weeks when we arrived, but it was already running smoothly. The standout for me was the Thalassotherapy centre, which included a sauna, a plunge pool, and a seriously cold (but invigorating) ice bath kept at 3°C. Not for the faint-hearted, but totally worth it. I left feeling completely refreshed and recharged.||||As someone from Fiji, I was blown away that a resort of this calibre exists right here at home. There’s nothing I would change. Lomani Island Resort isn’t just a destination it’s an experience I hope everyone gets to have at least once in their life.||||Thank you, Lomani team, for everything. We’ll never forget it.
