I took a family trip to Guatemala December 2025, and Guatemala is a lot in the best way. It’s stunning, vibrant, and constantly moving. With my adventurous family, we were truly go-go-go the entire trip.
Last minute, we found Aloma and were hoping to get to go. They were quick to respond, very accommodating, and ready for our family to arrive the very next day. We didn’t know exactly what to expect, but the idea of two meals, a scheduled massage, sauna, pool, mobility and yoga classes — all paired with a view you could stare at endlessly — sounded too good to pass up.
All of that was amazing. The massage was genuinely transcendent. The mobility class with Adrianna was unexpectedly emotional and super enjoyable.
But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the people. The staff, the owners, the guests — all deeply kind, talented, open, and grounded. You can feel that they genuinely care about wellness, spirituality, and how they show up for others. There’s a playfulness to the care they give — light, human, joyful.
And you know a place is special when my mom (and trust me, that says a lot) was already planning her return before we even left. After just one hour there, I saved it on Apple Maps — not just as a place, but as a destination. The first one I’ve ever marked that way. Aloma set the bar high. Thank you to everyone I met over those 7 hours. I miss you all :,)
