Overhyped. The food is ok, nothing special for the price. The service was the worst this year in Japan. They bring the bill without asking and rushed us to leave 4 times while I clearly had dessert and coffee to take. It seems there is a 90min policy, but there was many tables available. RUDE!

Absolutely loved this find in Shibuya. I have done a lot of tastings this Tokyo obsession with Neopolitan style pizza this summer. L’ombelico was just found accidentally when we decided to take a walk in Shibuya and saw Yoyogi park inviting us down the path. The maitre’d opened the door for us just as we hesitated outside not really knowing if we could get a table without a reservation. Great ambiance! Warm and inviting! This is such a lovely dog friendly neighborhood and it was clear that locals could come and dine with their pup outside on the terrace. It really felt like home. The pizza was very authentic and ingredients were top of the line Italian, not fusion! We had the Romano and the capriciosa? Both of them tomato bases. The tomato base had the perfect balance of salty and not sweet. Just perfect dough and wood oven makes a huge difference. And two glasses of Peroni. I loved the bathroom and the art. The art was for sale and labeled as “outsider art”. Best was the opera music that was piped into the bathroom.

Fairly new addition to the Shibuya restaurant scene. Very cool atmosphere. Bustling inside with an open kitchen and dramatic wood burning pizza oven. Food is quite pricey by Tokyo standards but high quality. The cinghiale or wild boar pizza was a step beyond the typical Italian fare and a treat. The restaurant is just opposite the Instagram popular Fuglen coffee shop and shares some of that vibe. While I see lots of complaints about the service, ours was friendly if a bit slow.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome. The waitress was very kind and attentive to my daughter, even offering her some bread. We really enjoyed the pizza — perfectly balanced thickness — and the Tuscan wine was a great match

Came here 1 year ago and wasn’t impressed, the most recent visit they really turned it around. Dough was fluffy and the proportions/weight of toppings significantly improved. D.O.C was still a little heavy and dough gave under weight in center, but new white pizza with shaved black truffle with egg was really good! 4 stars with room for improvement, but flavor is there!

Pretty top notch napule pizza but it is really expensive for drinks (1200 for small beer) and appetizers (2500 avg for small dishes) but pizza is normal priced (3k). This is a good fancy posh date spot and the toilet has a Toto Neorest so all good !

This is a restaurant designed by a designer. It’s a carefully crafted menu, a wonderful pizza oven imported from Italy but c’mon. You need better food. Guys, you’re so proud of your pizza but I hate to break it to you, it’s pretty mediocre. I’m sure they’ll figure it out eventually, but I would pass on this place for now. Servers were quite good. Thank you!

Nice ambience. The pizza was decent and dishes were good. Expected price for the location and food.
