Lombok Raya Hotel is a city hotel located in the heart of the city. When it was first established, it was named Lombok Grand Hotel. The initial purpose of building Lombok Grand Hotel was to contribute to the city of Mataram by providing a more representative business facility in the city center, specifically a three-star hotel accommodation facility that had not previously existed.
In November 1994, the first phase of construction for Lombok Grand Hotel was completed, and it began operations in January 1995. At that time, it featured 48 rooms of the following types: 8 suites, 3 family rooms, and 37 standard rooms, a restaurant, a coffee shop, and two meeting rooms, two swimming pools for adults and children, a massage room, taxi service, and laundry service.
In December 1995, the second phase of construction began to complete the existing facilities. The second phase of construction was completed in November 1996, and since then, several facilities have been added, including: The number of rooms increased from 48 to 135 and are divided into three types as follows: 8 suite rooms, 3 family rooms, 35 deluxe rooms, 89 superior rooms, one ballroom, two meeting rooms, five small meeting rooms, two restaurants, one coffee shop, one pub, and karaoke, a business center and drugstore, two swimming pools (adult and children), safe deposit boxes, laundry service, massage room, taxi service and car rental, and four office rentals.
I stayed here to attend a symposium held in their ballroom. The room I got was old and classic, but clean and comfortable to stay in. There were no major issues during my stay here.
