9 Best Breweries in Portland, Maine | Condé Nast Traveler

"Listen in on the crowd at Lone Pine and you'll hear folks bragging about how hazy they got their homebrews or that they just got back from a long weekend road trip to Hill Farmstead and the Alchemist. So it goes when you're in a brewery putting out a vast array of some of the best hoppy beers in the city. If you run down their full list of beers they have 17 different versions of an IPA, double IPA, or imperial IPA. The hazy and fruity Oh-J is probably the best known (and most recognizable in a bright orange can) and should probably be the first order for a new visitor." - Noah Kaufman

The infamous lone pine brewery! We got some flights here and a few “swag” items. The beer was good, but overall Thai location was a bit underwhelming. Not the most memorable brewery in Portland, but their beer does certainly pack a flavour pallet punch!

Lone Pine is one of the best breweries in Portland! Shane is amazing! He made me feel so welcome to the area! Amy is also amazing! They know how to give great customer service! As a supervisor of a local hospital, the customer service is top notch! I would recommend this brewery to anyone! So amazing thanks to great staff like Shane and Amy!

Such a great spot! All the beer was clean and ridiculously tasty! The gentleman pouring the beer was very friendly and gave phenomenal suggeit out! There are games to play, and they have flights offered. One table got 4 flights and had them end to end, looked like a flight table! We were so happy, we went in for one drink and left with several 4 packs of beer! Worth the stop, go check it out!

Great chill atmosphere- pints are nice and not too pricey. Staff really helpful with sampling and choosing and general chatting. Very kid friendly too.

Great beer with a great bartender! Stopped by here after going to a different brewery in the neighborhood and they exceeded expectations… several IPA’s to choose from and all are good!

Extremely cozy environment in East Bayside, the brewery Mecca of Portland. Half the benefit is being surrounded by other breweries for a crawl but Lone Pine is one of the best. Extremely cozy, with good variety. Not the best session IPA I’ve had but I love their DIPAs.

Really love the simple tree logo. Very vibrant outside that’s inviting. It was too crowded to sit inside and the outside was nice until the sun started to set. But the beers kept us pretty warm - their bright side IPA is great!
