Lone Star Restaurant & Hotel

Early April I stayed a week at the Lone Star Hotel and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The warmth and attentiveness of the entire staff created the perfect backdrop for a truly unforgettable moment—getting engaged in the crystal clear Caribbean ocean. An experience I will cherish forever. ❤️

So this review is for the restaurant only! I first came here 20 years ago and it was te for a revisit! We arrived a later early for lunch and paeked across the street in there car park. You can really appreciate the setting here in the day time, its stunning! On to the starters, crab cakes delicious, nice Calamari. Mains was a excellent medium rare beef burger as requested and a lovely chicken pasta. Now we did have a pizza with a base more like a flat bread which was a little disappointing but nice flavour. Dessert was a sticky toffee pud, cheesecake and birthday cake all of which wherever good. Working out about £100 each which includes a bottle of wine and a cocktail. Staff are polite, professional and attentive here. The foods excellent and Scenery fantastic so id definitely recommend popping in for a spot of lunch

One of the better spots on the island for service. We went for lunch and enjoyed fresh seafood and salads with stunning views. Atmosphere is superb. Definitely pricey, but worth experiencing at least once.

Four of us went for lunch. In our opinion too many waiters serving us. Only one of the meals was good the ribs. Fish and chips mediocre. Shrimp curry ok with soggy poppadoms and the prawn linguine was cold and had to be cooked again. Beautiful setting with amazing views and a lovely classy restaurant but so overpriced for what we received. We went last year and really enjoyed it but something has changed and it has gone downhill. Will not be going again. Champers and Tapas far better.

We always come to Lone Star when we're in Barbados, and this year we felt the food was the best quality it has ever been. The shepherd's pie was superb! Fabulous location, wonderful service too from Carlos and Anthony on our 2 visits, we're already looking forward to seeing you again in 2026!

It’s hard to overstate just how perfect this hotel & restaurant is. The food & service is for me the best on this beautiful island and the views are truly breathtaking from every table. Our hotel room was gorgeous and views were the stuff of dreams. 10/10

The vibe and feel of the restaurant is amazing. Very upscale and cool. The waiters were really kind and made everyone feel very at home. We liked the appetizers. The coconut shrimp was a classic and the best we had on the trip, and the tuna and mussels were delicious. The duck with the pancakes was great, and we wish it came with more pancakes. The curry had a lot of flavor and was a bit spicy, pretty classic, and the barracuda was good too. The desserts were our favorites, all 3 of them being outstanding in their own way. Definitely recommend the donuts, cup, and sticky toffee cake equally. 8.9/10 and the best food we had on the trip.

Absolutely beautiful place - quite breathtaking when you first visit. One of the best places you can spend your time relaxing, rain or shine. Food is very good and beautifully presented. They also have some excellent singers there who really do add perfectly to the ambiance. However, I think it’s the service and the welcome that really make the place. Lone Star has some fantastic people working there and ensuring the best service. Tamisha is one of those individuals - warm, attentive, patient & a brilliant energy - knew her stuff and made us feel incredibly welcome. Lucky Lone Star! Thank you.
