We came for happy hour and it was honestly pretty good! I’m typically hesitant on Asian restaurants managed by large restaurant conglomerates (in this case Concorde Group) as it can typically lose on authenticity and flavour depending on the team.
The dumplings were really yummy, and I loved their version of the agedashi tofu. We also had a couple hand rolls that were good, the negitoro could use a bit of a stronger green onion flavour but it was tasty enough. The spicy salmon handroll was nicely flavoured and not too spicy. The curry udon was tasty, but the Hitoshi udon was a miss for me. It’s difficult to retain udon texture in a cold application but it could use some reworking. Food overall was a 4 star.
Our server was such a sweetiepie, he kept our waters refilled and checked on us often. With his service and the aesthetics, I’d give this place a 5 star for happy hour and will be back to try their mains.

This is a lovely local Asian infusion resto that serves sushi and wok fried dishes. We enjoyed the warm atmosphere. The staff were kind and courteous. They have a pretty good happy hour too. We will be back.

I recently visited this charming establishment and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is truly exceptional—warm lighting and a welcoming atmosphere that made it an ideal spot for a relaxing meal. The photos I took here turned out beautifully, and I was completely satisfied with my experience.
The service was equally noteworthy. The barista was friendly, attentive, and skilled, crafting drinks that were not only delicious but also showcased a true passion for his craft. His genuine and personable approach made us feel right at home. I must bring my ID with me to try some more drinks!!
As for the food
Curry Udon: It was well-executed, with a flavorful curry broth and tender noodles, though it didn’t stand out as particularly unique—it was a solid, traditional Japanese curry soup noodle dish, deserving of an 8/10.
Beef Tartare: however, was outstanding. Served with a crispy tart shell, a delicate white sauce, and an avocado base, it was a well-balanced and innovative take on the classic dish. I would rate it a perfect 10/10.
Snow Crab Hand Roll: was absolutely spectacular. With generous portions of sweet, fresh crab meat and a few pieces of creamy avocado, it was, without a doubt, the highlight of the meal. This dish easily earns a 10,000/10, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting.
In short, I regret not discovering this place sooner, and I will definitely be returning soon. A memorable dining experience overall!

Ambiance is a vibe for sure but idk I felt the food lacked for the price. The tartare which was recommended was overall very mushy and messy because the wonton chips were so big, and overall didn’t really hit the mark for me. Did not really like the hand rolls either.
The drinks are fun though and happy hour makes it worth trying them. If I remember correctly, their happy hour has all cocktails go 50% off.
I walked in and was able to get a seat at the bar with no wait, didn’t mind cause I was on my own.

So… after so many reviews and tik toks found on this place I needed to check it out. The ambience and presentation was 10/10 but the food quality lacked. The hand rolls were tiny, mostly rice, seaweed was chewy. Sashimi platter was fresh but fish was thin, and the other dishes were really odd. Agedashi tofu was in a sweet gravy sauce with peas etc. which isn’t typical at all, zucchini dish had a sesame salt that was verrry salty. But Gyoza was really good. I will say our waiter was very sweet! Overall food was 5/10 with some highlights but I wouldn’t go back unfortunately.

My husband and I are moving to the South East, so we thought we would hit up a few places along 17th ave. The food here was delicious. I could have eaten multiple Sandos.
We were here for happy hour and the menu offered so many options. Billy our server was so delightful and attentive. He made our visit really enjoyable and knew the menu so well. The cocktails were delicious and I really enjoyed their whisky sour.
I would say the atmosphere upon entry was a little disappointing. There was a lady sitting at the bar with her computer (manager?) and when we walked in, she didn’t smile and she looked as though we were inconveniencing her. She grabbed menus and took us to our table, however there was minimal effort to make us feel welcome. There were also some issues with food consistency. For example, my husband ordered some Zuke sashimi and loved it so much, he ordered another serving. The second serving was literally half the thickness of the first which was a little disappointing.
Overall we really enjoyed our time and again, Billy made the experience the best it could be.
