Long Beach Island is an entire world in and of itself. The sand is splendid and the lifeguards are very good at their job. The guards care if anyone is in need. Even if you go out too far, they'll hop on their board and have a talk with you. Lol. Thank you LBI and staff! You rock! Warning: everyone is very calm there, so if you are loud and rowdy definitely go elsewhere!

We went to LBI at Harvey Cedars last week before the official season begins. Lots of good food options, which is big for us when on vacation. Can get anything you need there. Beach was flat, packed sand, spacious sky, wide horizon. Moonrise was killer.

This is a quaint 18 mile barrier island . Beautiful Barnegat Lighthouse. Adorable small towns . Beautiful views of the Bay , Ocean and dunes.

Its the sunrise runs along the beach for me, just pristine and wholesome. I am a morning runner and it just you and the sand pipers and a massive yellow sunrise! A paradise. The summer vacation there was heart warming. The little towns and light house are charming. Great restaurants too. The Harvey Cedars side was epic!

My family started vacationing in LBI when I was a kid and loved being there. Me and my brother would get up early to take a morning bike ride with the neighbor of the house we stayed at since we always got the same house every yr. No boardwalk for the night but seaside was bout a 10 to 15 minute ride for there boardwalk

Amazing perfect for everyone. If you wish to relax on the beach, surf this is the place to go. This is a real beach town not a developed beach resort. There is a small amusement park ,plenty of mini golf,great little restaurants and bakeries. Nice local shops full of beach wear. Bike and boat rentals. Plenty of surf shops. Great for families, college students, young adults everyone.
