8 best alternative beaches to explore in the Philippines - SilverKris

"Stretching approximately 14 km and regarded as the country’s longest white-sand beach, this remote coastline offers expansive, uncrowded shoreline and a glimpse into local fishing-village life due to the scarcity of resorts. Its length and relative isolation make it ideal for long walks, solitude and experiencing a more authentic coastal community." - Isabel Ong

Looking for a calm, safe, and stunning beach? Long Beach in Brgy. New Agutaya is it. The waves are chill, the sand is compact and fine, and the water’s so clean it feels like a dream. You won’t worry about drifting, just float, relax, and soak it in. Best part? Swimming while the sun sets. It’s peaceful, picture-perfect, and a memory you’ll carry for life.

Stunningly beautiful. I love this place. We enjoyed it here. We rode the motorcycle near the shoreline. It's a long way though from Port Barton.

A beautiful beach. You really can enjoy the place because it’s not crowded. It’s peaceful and a nice place to relax.

One of the really pristine beaches in the Philippines and lets hope it stays that way with all the upcoming developments that are on-going. Beautiful soft sand (still virgin, so beware of nik niks - don't scratch); Gradual sloping of the beach, nice waters and accessible waves for swimming and beginner surfing. Best place to witness the most beautiful beach sunsets too!

The beach is nice and clean. No people when we went there today at 4pm. But only thing is that so many sandflies. I can't stay longer.

Beautiful beach next to San Vicente. Very peaceful compared to other beaches in Palawan. We spent a whole day here and were basically alone, probably a couple more people. Many palms offer plenty of shade as well! Not many amenities around, so bring your own food/drinks.

Longest beach in the Philippines - Long Beach, San Vicente, Palawan. I love bringing our dogs here for a morning or an afternoon walk. Sunset is pretty when the sky is clear... My dog, Kel, enjoys this beach as much as I do and I would say that you get the privilege to enjoy the whole beach all for yourself. Also, if you have a motorbike you can bring it with you... only it if it's lowtide and you can drive from Turublien all the way to the end. Best time to visit is during Summer or August (there's something about August that makes the surrounding more colourful and peaceful - IMO) If you are planning to visit then please don't forget to bring your swimwear and take a dip 😉

Incredibly beautiful long beach with no tourists. Unfortunately lots is sand flies and deadly jellyfish in the ocean so not that enjoyable… be very careful if you decide to go for a swim me and my boyfriend were just walking in and saw two big ones just close to the shore.
