I and my family visited during the New Year holiday. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Hoi An. The staff here provide outstanding service—the best we have experienced. My family and I were truly impressed. One more thing worth mentioning: before the New Year countdown, the hotel arranged a special dinner buffet for guests, which included grilled lobster.

The hotel is in a good location, just across the river from the ancient town. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily. Our room faced the rear street and we didn't experience much noise at all. The only negative feedback I would give is breakfast. Although there was quite a good selection, the food in the warming trays was not hot, cold fried eggs and bacon was not nice. Overall, we had a pleasant stay here.

Our recent 5-day stay was exactly what we needed. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional service. The entire staff was attentive, but manager Minh deserves special praise for being so welcoming and ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for a comfortable and well-hosted visit!

It's really hard to criticise a hotel that is working so hard to recover from the horrendous floods that occurred in Hoi An not that long ago. For example, we stayed here for 4 weeks and the manager has worked every single day that we've been here. However, after saying that, I really must criticise the terrible breakfast on offer. Today, being our last day here, the food was cold and not everything was out and ready for guests. I did tell the manager about this on the second week of our stay and things did improve for a while. Unfortunately, the standard did slip back to woeful. Also, the cleaning of the bathtub is dreadful and the jets in the bath look like they have never been cleaned. Dirty marks were on and in the bathtub the whole time we were here. Yes, I would stay here again, but things need to improve first. Once again, I'd like to thank the manager for his hard work.

The location is perfect!!! On the island of An Hoi, directly opposite from the Old Town, you walk out the front door and your amongst the life and energy that permeates Hoi An. You're surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafes, and even a couple of night clubs. Plus, you can get your laundry done next door, an ATM around 50 metres away, and several convenience stores within a minute's walk. If you don't feel like walking, you can borrow one of the free pushbikes: they're not fancy, but they do the job, plus it kinda adds to the magic of Hoi An.The hotel itself feels quirky, but in the best ways. The Front Desk Manager, Minh, is incredibly helpful, as are the staff around the hotel. The room was clean and serviced daily. The shower was awesome, with a great supply of hot water. The pool is located in the middle of the hotel, so it doesn't get a lot of direct sun, but that's not terrible considering the weather. My only gripe was both not so good and great: the pool bar no longer operates, meaning I couldn't get drinks at the bar, UNLESS I brought my own to the poolside..... that's a win when you drink spirits in particular :).The breakfast buffet was both tasty and plentiful, so worth the little extra.Word from the wise, if you don't like noise, source a room in the middle of the hotel, as the back is on a laneway that gets a bit of noise (and a school that starts around 645 (personally, I didn't mind too much being woken up by drums and singing), and the front gets pretty noisy from the night clubs. All in all, we LOVED this place, and we'll be going back mid 2026 to enjoy the hotel and Hoi An some more.

We stayed here for one night in August and booked 4 rooms for our party of 13. We had a great stay and were extremely happy with our rooms, thus the 5 star rating. That said, understand that the hotel itself is not a 5-star establishment. The hotel is extremely well located (a few minutes by foot to the night market and very close to the bridge to the old town), it was perfect for what we wanted. The hotel and rooms are a beautiful mix of charm and modern amenities. The rooms felt like they were authentic to Hoi An's history, with beautiful, old, dark wood and heavy, detailed door handles. The rooms are not pristine (in terms of craftmanship), but they are very clean, comfortable, and offer the creaturely comforts of hot water, modern facilities, good A/C, space, and comfortable bedding. The sitting room furniture is not quite as comfortable though. The service was impeccable, warm, and helpful. Breakfast was really good and offered a bountiful, tasty spread of Vietnamese and international cuisine. The welcome drink was delicious and appreciated by all (it was hot when we visited!). The hotel was also very helpful in terms of helping with transportation. My husband and kids also really enjoyed cooling off in the courtyard pool. Overall, though the hotel is a bit pricier than other options, we felt it was worth it for the comfort, charm, and location. Thank you for a great stay, we look forward to returning in the future and for a longer stay!!

My family stayed at Long Life Riverside Hotel in Hoi An for three nights. The hotel’s location is excellent, very close to the Ancient Town, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. However, the breakfast menu was exactly the same for all three days, and worse still, when we woke up early, we saw that the hotel ordered breakfast dishes from local street food vendors rather than preparing them in-house. Because these street foods came from outside sources, food hygiene and safety were not guaranteed, and unfortunately, all of us experienced stomach pain after eating breakfast during our stay. The staff member in charge of breakfast service on Friday, October 3, and Sunday, October 5, 2025, had an extremely poor and rude attitude (the same male staff member as attached photo). I believe that having employees with such behavior makes guests feel uncomfortable and will discourage them from ever returning. The hotel will end up damaging its own business if it continues to train and retain staff like this. I hope the hotel will take this feedback seriously and replace such employees to provide better service to tourists in the future.

My partner and I have been to this hotel three times in the past 2 years. Every single time it does not disappoint. Large rooms, cold air conditioning, and very friendly service. The location is great, right along the riverside and a 100 meter walk to the night market. This time we took my mum here for her birthday and this lovely hotel provided my mum with flowers! Great service and would definitely be coming back here again.
