Long Meadow Ranch - Rutherford Estate

We tried the restaurant only. It was kid friendly and family friendly. It was wide and not too loud and lots of kids were playing with crayons and coloring papers while waiting for food. It was fun to visit general store while waiting for the table too. Food was very good - we had caramelized beet salad, chicken wing and devil eggs for starters. My favorite was the beet salad. The chicken wing had just the right amount of kick to it. (I think children could still eat them) Devil eggs were a bit salty for me. For the main, we had cheese burgers and ribs. Both were very good too! I would come back and try other dishes!

Farmstead wine bar was great to try the wines and they serve pizza there. I recommend this if you’re wanting to continue wine tasting but need lunch.

We had reservations and ate here in between our wine tasting appointment. Food was just okay. My pork tacos were greasy and full of chunks of fat. They were extremely busy. Service was mediocre.

Definitely do the tasting and experience. The story of the farm is awesome, and the people that work there are phenomenal hosts and are obviously proud of where they work, and who they work for. Overall it was a wonderful experience. The Petaluma Olive Oil is amazing

We did the wine and cave experience with Adrian. It was a very intimate setting and Adrian was informative and great to chat with. Learned a lot about the winery, area, and even olive oil. We tasted a variety of wines and olive oils.

Amazing fresh food! Was in between tastings and came here for a quick bite! Kip was fantastic, telling us about the area and the food was fresh farm to table! Can’t wait to go back

We did the Winery and Cave experience which was well worth it. The tour starts in the tasting room by the Farmstead, and you are driven up to the hillside location of the winery. The view is fantastic, the building is very interesting and "green". There is art strewn throughout the modern facility. You get an introduction into wine making and tour the actual facility. The caves are carved into the mountainside. You see the olive press from above. During the tour you taste various wines. Upon return to the tasting room, you are given a private room tasting of olive oils. Very informative and beautiful tour.

We took the tour up to their ranch. Definitely one not to miss. Our tour guide Julian was great. He made the tour outstanding. Out of all the tours and visits Longmeadow was our favorite due to Julian. I highly recommend. We had the privilege to taste 9 wines and their olive oil. Can’t wait for our wine to arrive back in Wyoming. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
