Long Mountain Lodge Bed and Breakfast Inn

Loved, loved the Lodge and the hospitality of Don and the staff. After the first few minutes we felt like family!! The amenities were much more than I ever expected. The home made breakfast was amazing. I can't think of anything that was not provided that I would have wanted. They even have walking sticks for the trails. The bedroom had a fireplace and deck and it was so very spacious. We will be back and for a longer stay.

Absolutely a hidden gem! You will not be disappointed. This is a true B&B experience leaving you with comfy and warm memories from the exceptional hospitality, the delicious breakfast and cozy beds.The decor is rustic and charming. You will sadly leave but ready to book your next stay with Don and his wonderful team whenever you are in the area again.

My husband and I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and so we wanted to give it a try this past weekend for our getaway to northern Georgia. We were so pleasantly surprised by our experience here and will absolutely stay again upon our return to the area. Everything was wonderful - the room, the views, the breakfast, the comfort and the coziness! Thank you to Don and his staff for a lovely stay!

This lodge is amazing. We stayed Thanksgiving and had a wonderful meal that was prepared by the owner. After dinner we had loads of fun playing games with the owners and other couples. The room and entire stay was more than expected. The owners and Don go out of their way to make everything enjoyable. We hope to go back next year!!

Our room was everything we might want in a mountain lodge - wood burning fireplace, rustic decor, and so many little thoughtful touches that show that the staff know their clientele and know how to deliver rest and relaxation in all the details! And of course, gourmet dining is available each morning to break your fast!||Here's a few items that stood out for us:||* A guided hike to a relatively untouched and unknown waterfall just minutes away from the lodge|* Recommendations on activities, places to eat, and so on that extend well beyond the scope of a printed guide|* Don talking our ears off (in a its-fun-not-annoying way of course!), while Kendall quietly and cheerfully serves in the background. |* Local handcrafted pottery and other artwork is featured throughout the lodge and available for purchase at reasonable prices|* Every room has a wonderful mountain sunset view|* Hiking supplies to borrow, including packs, poles and bug spray in case you forgot yours|* Sheets and pillows as soft and comfortable as what we have at home - no need to bring your own|* Can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff and their helpfulness

My husband and I had a wonderful 4 nights at the Long Mountain Lodge. Everything was up to our expectations and more. The views, the location, the breakfast, the service and above all the hospitality and the kindness of Don and Kendall. We will back!

This has been a spectacular stay! Rooms are cozy and comfy! Service has been 10/10, everyone is so nice and helpful. They have all amenities that you would ever need. The views are very charming and it’s the perfect quiet mountain vibe. We WILL be back!

An absolute gem of a find! I picked this place because of its proximity to a nature class that I was taking and had no idea what a wonderful experience it would be. Don, the host, was incredibly accommodating from the start. I expected to arrive a few hours before check-in and he made every effort to get my room ready in time for my early arrival. There were fresh baked cookies in the room. Wine and cheese in the little refrigerator in the room. I had to take photos and videos because I was just so blown away by the whole experience for such an incredibly affordable price. We will absolutely be back!
