A modern, shabby chic accommodation. The room I stayed in was quiet, just right for a night's sleep.
Check-in can be done online beforehand, but the automated email you receive is all in Czech and you have to use a translator.
When I arrived, I was told that all the beds but one were occupied in my room, but it looked like two out of six beds simply hadn't been serviced - I only had 3 x roommates on the day I stayed. It would have been nicer if I was able to sleep in one corner by the door, which was vacant but not yet ready for a new guest.
The card key is needed to turn/keep the lights on. This system helps the hostel save electricity, but is not for the guests' sake. Because, when you're leaving the room and your card key is in use for the lights, obviously you have to take the card with you so one of the remaining guests in the room has to get up and insert theirs.
The establishment is missing two hostel basics: communal kitchen (or I just wasn't told there is one?), fridges easily accessible for guests. It didn't appear that there was a facility to make hot drinks, really basic in cheapest hostels I've stayed before.
Although the decoration is stylish and the concept is great, the business could consider the utility aspects as above if they are interested in improving customer experience.
