The Long Street Boutique Hotel is a lovely hotel but unfortunately, our age (late 50's) was not well suited to the area. Great place if you are there for the night life and to party till the early hours. This being said, the rooms were comfortable and the best showers ever! Staff were outstanding and very accommodating.

Location is right where the party is - this is where all bars in Capetown are. The hotel is situated above a bar and the noise is really terrible! I guess the rooms are soundproof but when you enter the bathroom the noise unbearable! If you book here, try to get a room on the second floor (one level up the reception) where the noise is not that much. Having said that, the staff is really very attentive. They helped us in many ways. Also the room rate is very affordable. The location looks safe as there are lots of people on the street. Parking is located on the same street, in a church yard but it is a good and spacious parking. The rate is 100 ZAR per day. The hotel is safe - the outside door is locked and there is another locked door before reception. Despite the noise, rooms are well equipped and look very nice.

5 out of 5, what a wonderful experience we had. My wife and I booked in at Long Street Botique Hotel with the soul purpose of having a fun weekend. And from the very moment we booked in it was amazing. The manager, Primrose, welcomed us with open arms, she made us feel like royalty and so did every other staff member. The rooms were neat and tidy, the hotel itself very safe and secure. If you're looking to have a fun/party weekend, then long street Botique hotel is the place to be. Thank you Primrose and staff, we'll be seeing you again in July.

We had a great experience at the Long Street Boutique Hotel: We made our booking last minute, based on existing Google reviews and the pictures on their website (first plus: booking on their website was easy). We arrived way too early, at 10 am for a 2 pm check-in, hoping that they could keep our suitcases while we waited and explored Cape Town. The staff welcomed us so warmly and, instead of smoky keeping our bags, they rushed to get our room ready for us, hours ahead of time. The room looked exactly like the pictures on the website: well designed, light and elegant. We were warned during check-in that Long Street is a party street with a lot of clubs and bars, and that it would be a loud might, despite their best efforts. And indeed it was rambunctious in the street, and loud despite the triple glazing of the windows. It might not be the case on week nights or on rooms facing away from the street, I couldn't say. Still, it is a good thing to know if you are a light sleeper. We had a lovely night nonetheless in the massive king bed. In three morning, they even kept our bags while we had lunch outside before heading to the airport. Overall, the obvious care of the staff for the conduit of the clients is what made this experience stand out. I would come back in a heartbeat.

NOISY!|It was very clean and the staff were friendly, but oh man, was it NOISY.|The room we stayed in was a reasonable size and the shower area was very clean and modern...but did I mention the noise?|The bed was clean and comfortable, but alas, because of the noise from the street (even with earplugs and the windows tightly closed) sleep was almost impossible until after 3:30 am.|My advice to anyone wanting to stay at this hotel: make sure you are in Party Mode and go downstairs and make noise with the best of them. Just don't plan on sleeping until the early hours of the morning...and this was a Thursday evening!

A great hotel with smart rooms and a small relaxing lounge area. It's within 300m of the Lower Kloof bars, shops and eateries. Which include a 24/7 McDonald's and Kwikspar. Sure it's in a real part of town. But don't complain about the late night noise FGS! What do you expect?

Good hotel in the centre of Cape Town, The room was very nice and clean. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The only negative point is the pubs nearby, loud music everyyyyyyyday, the hotel is not recommended if you are a light sleeper.

I had to leave this hotel after one night because the noise from the nightclub downstairs was so loud it made the bed and walls vibrate. I have never been in so loud a hotel room and it was uninhabitable. The staff said there might be a room available on the 3rd floor - which while it might not have been so loud I thought it would still be noisy. I think the nightclub is fairly newly opened, so previous reviews won't have commented on it and it's a shame because the rooms are furnished to a good standard and it could be a nice hotel but for the nightclub. As it is though, I really cannot recommend staying here.
