I stayed here with my partner on a Friday night in room 5. We both really enjoyed our stay, it was clean, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and it was the perfect place to stay over in Cape Town for a night out. Because it’s located on Long street, music (or just the bass 😂 )can be heard from the rooms, but we slept so well! For us, it was not a problem. We also made use of booking a parking spot for our car in a secured parking lot provided by the hotel. No problems there! And we enjoyed some breakfast from the hotel in the morning which was delicious! I had the French toast and my partner had the pancakes. Thank you to the staff at Long Street Boutique Hotel for welcoming us so warmly, helping us where needed and just great hospitality in all. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I come out to Cape Town for a night out.

BEST DEAL IN TOWN! Stayed for two nights and let me just say that this was a deal I will never regret! As mentioned by other reviewers here, it's located at Long Street which is like one of the night life centers of Cape Town. Thus, there is loud music coming from all over. But I still had an amazing sleep in their big, beautiful, and clean room! I also felt very safe, and the staff are all approachable and accommodating. It's centrally located, so it's perfect to explore downtown Cape Town. Will definitely come back!

AVOID. EXTREME LEVELS OF NOISE We booked two nights based on the positive reviews on Booking.com but had to leave after the first night because it was simply impossible to sleep. The hotel is directly opposite a nightclub that plays extremely loud music until the early morning. The noise level was so high that the entire room was vibrating. On top of that, laser lights from the club were coming through gaps in the curtains and shining directly into the room. Even with earplugs, sleeping was not possible. The hotel later explained that it is located in a “lively area.” However, what happens here goes far beyond what any reasonable guest would understand as lively. A place where sleep is impossible cannot be described as a hotel in the usual sense. This is not an inconvenience — it is a fundamental problem. Calling it an inconvenience is simply incorrect. In the morning, we were told that breakfast would be ready in 10–15 minutes. In reality, it took almost one hour. After a sleepless night, this added further frustration. Management also referred to a waiver stating that noise may occur. We never signed such a document. The signature shown appeared to have been copied and pasted from the Booking.com system. Pasting a signature onto a document without the person’s consent is illegal and raises very serious concerns. The staff themselves were polite and tried to be helpful, and I feel sorry for them. However, regardless of staff attitude, if you cannot sleep even with earplugs, this is not suitable accommodation. Check other negative reviews here. You will find more.

Incredible stay at the Long Street Boutique Hotel! The staff were so friendly, the rooms were very spacious with the BEST bathroom. All amenities included. Personalised experience. Comfort 10/10. Prime location, close to nightlife and in the city centre. Thank you for making us feel at home and for the wonderful stay. We will be back again and again.

Really lovely staff and very centrally located for a lot of tourist activities. However do make sure to take along your ear plugs and sleeping tablets. The noise is next level despite double glazing, the music from the clubs until 2am was bearable but the incessant hooting from the cars goes literally all night until 7am. Safe parking in the church yard next door.

5 Stars – Stylish Comfort with Warm, Personal Hospitality I had an incredible stay at the Long Street Boutique Hotel. The room was spacious, the bed super comfy, and the bathroom a standout – with both a luxurious bath and an amazing shower. It’s right in the middle of Cape Town’s vibrant nightlife, which gives it such a lively energy, yet the rooms are peaceful and perfect for relaxing. What really made the experience special was the warm and welcoming team. Chantel and Tatenda were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was a real highlight – freshly prepared each morning by Chef Chris, whose cooking is top-notch. A huge thanks to the owners, Romano and Claire, who made us feel completely at home and ensured every detail of our stay was just right. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable stay in the heart of Cape Town with real personal charm!

A hidden gem in the heart of Cape Town! This beautiful and unique boutique hotel is perfectly nestled on Long Street, right in the vibrant heart of the city. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and comfortable - with views that capture the soul and energy of Cape Town. It strikes the perfect balance between luxury and warmth, offering an inviting, homey feel while still feeling special and indulgent. The attention to detail and personal touches throughout make this place feel more like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Cape Town!

I wanted a boutique hotel because it was just me and God traveling. I wanted a spot where I could get to know the people that worked at the hotel. This was it! All the hotel people were kind! Most of the women there had a name similar to my first name! I knew my name was African. Even women at the nail salon had names like Verona, Sheranda, and Yolanda. Anyway, the hotel is nice and quaint. My room was just enough! My bath water very hot like I love it! This hotel is convenient to everything! I found a nail salon in Woolworth up the street, a braid shop 2 minutes away, and lots of places to eat. I took a short uber ride to the mall. Cons: I am a preacher, and I don’t party! This hotel is on top of a club!!! It didn’t bother my sleep, but if you are a person that needs a quiet atmosphere to sleep, this is absolutely not the place for you! I felt safe because the people got to know me, it is not open to the public, and you have to know codes to get in if they don’t buzz you in. I gave the location 4 stars because it was convenient to everything. I took a star off because of the club and the stairs you have to go up with your bag. There is no elevator.
