I wanted a boutique hotel because it was just me and God traveling. I wanted a spot where I could get to know the people that worked at the hotel. This was it! All the hotel people were kind! Most of the women there had a name similar to my first name! I knew my name was African. Even women at the nail salon had names like Verona, Sheranda, and Yolanda. Anyway, the hotel is nice and quaint. My room was just enough! My bath water very hot like I love it! This hotel is convenient to everything! I found a nail salon in Woolworth up the street, a braid shop 2 minutes away, and lots of places to eat. I took a short uber ride to the mall.
Cons: I am a preacher, and I don’t party! This hotel is on top of a club!!! It didn’t bother my sleep, but if you are a person that needs a quiet atmosphere to sleep, this is absolutely not the place for you! I felt safe because the people got to know me, it is not open to the public, and you have to know codes to get in if they don’t buzz you in. I gave the location 4 stars because it was convenient to everything. I took a star off because of the club and the stairs you have to go up with your bag. There is no elevator.
