If you want quiet and tranquility, this is one of the places. There's a beautiful scenery with a water view right there in front of you. You can fish, walk around the area and there's also a clean restroom to use if needed. There is also a (pirate?) ship which I think you can take tours on. I believe the lighthouse is open until either 4pm or 5pm. The grounds could be a little cleaner, but it doesn't distract from the beauty of the place.

This is a very nice place. Very well kept beautiful right on the water. I went and sat down and did a therapy appointment online and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Great place to have a picnic. There's picnic tables. Great Pace to go read a book, or go look at the water.

Lovely marina park on the Chootank River which is a great place to take in the wonderful views.

Beautiful picnic area to eat crabs! Dumpster wasn't locked so we assumed we could toss our crab shells in there. No public restrooms. Maybe you could talk someone who belongs to the club into letting you use their restroom. I didn't ask.

Very nice Marina with beautiful views of the Chop tank River. Visit and take a tour of the Choptank River Lighthouse. Nice place for walks and to sit by the water and enjoy the views.

Great common area with picnic benches and a walking path along the marina. It is easy walking with new paths so it is wheelchair friendly and for older folks more sure footing. Try parking at the far end, in front of the Yacht Club, for the greatest mobility access. Dog walkers are common as are friendly sailors, some of who come from long distances. Waterman also tie up their workboats. There is a light house if you are sure-footed enough to make it over the dock boards but still very visible from a vehicle at the round about. Enjoy.

What a view... 3rd deepest body of water in the State of MD. Being so close to the Marina you get a view of Power Boats, Sail Boats, Waterman at work on their working boats and even an occasional inter-coastal cruise ship...
