I had dinner at this restaurant with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary.
We felt welcomed when we checked in that the manager was so nice and gentle.
We book at 7pm, we came early and sat at around 6.50pm.
A female waitress approached and gave us the menu. Then we proceeded the order. After we finalized our first order without drinks, she asked 2-3 more times about whether we have drink or not. Then 5 mins later after the ordering part, she asked us if we can finish our dinner by 7.45pm, meaning that we only had 45 mins to wait for the food and eat?
We told her that we book at 7pm. Then she walked away. After that, we received no explanation or apology for inconvenience. I have never experience this confusion at any Aus restaurant or even at casual places.
Overall the food is decent. It’s Thai-fusion so it’s will not be too spicy and sour. Most taste a-bit more sweet than usual. The pepper tofu is 10/10.
But after that first impression, we decided to not order anything further. I really hope that no one will have to experience this, especially during their special events.
