You know the cheese and ice cream are going to be amazing when, across the rolling pastures, you can see the cows from whence they came. I love stopping in at the Looking Glass Creamery farm store; the folks there are so glad to see you and offer you samples of their homemade ice cream and award-winning cheeses. I can never resist sampling their unique ice cream flavors like whiskey marmalade and getting a cup or cone to enjoy while I peer through the window of the cheese grotto at row after row of cheese wheels aging to delicious perfection. In addition to the cheese making operation, there are also goats and other farm animals to see and special activities to enjoy at various times. A farm map for self-guided tours is available inside the farm store. It isn't often we get to see where our food is made; Looking Glass Creamery is a wonderful place to have a real farm-to-table experience.

We've enjoyed Looking Glass Creamery since moving back to NC. It's come back strong after Hurricane Helene! The cheese, cider, charcuterie, chips, and ice cream are fabulous. Host, Drew, was super informative, with great service. He introduced us to several new things and we can't wait to get back again to try some more. It's dog friendly, has beautiful views, fun goats, a nice walking trail through the woods, and lots of spring flowers popping up. Highly Recommended!

Absolutely lovely place to visit where you can see the ice cream/cheese being made as well as enjoy these products while watching the goats 🐐 I had the small cheese board and my hubby had the monster grilled cheese on this visit (all of which was delcious & high quality!). We came back with family to enjoy the ice cream🍨

Been here multiple and multiple times. Only 2nd review. Cheeses, wine, flowers, goats, open plai s, big sky...somebody say something about ice cream!?!

We visited the farm for the first time, for their sunflower daze event, and it was amazing. Free sunflower pick through Sunday, July 7. While you are there make sure that you enjoy the sandwiches, charcuterie boards. Their ice cream flavors are so unique. My daughter had strawberry balsamic ice cream and it was so delicious.

This farm is one that surpassed my highest expectations. I came for the free sunflowers, which were incredible, and well worth the non-existent price. The employees were even nice enough to let us use their tap to fill up our flower bucket. While we were there, we stopped in the store to get ice cream, which turned out to be some of the best ice cream I have ever had, especially the peanut butter banana flavor. We also bought some cheese, which was also very good. This place is well out of the way for most people, but it is very much worth the drive. (Date of Visit: July 13)

We stopped here with our two kids while in the area for a friend’s reunion trip. Customer service was excellent and really enjoyed walking the property. Sampled several cheeses and of course bought some ice cream. Enjoyed our ice cream on property and got some cheeses to go. Would make a priority to stop again when visiting.

Awesome little family run place. The ice cream was delicious and I bought some ground beef to have later, too. The family was incredibly nice and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to go here again!
