We recently moved from California to Portland, OR. We have traveled along the Oregon coast a number of times but had never stayed in Lincoln City. We were traveling with our pup and decided to book the Looking Glass Inn based on all the excellent reviews. We could not have been happier and plan to return very soon. In fact, while we were enjoying their nice continental breakfast we heard several guests who were checking out comment that they would be returning soon! The location in the historic Taft area is ideal with the beautiful beach directly across the street and the reasonably priced family friendly Mo’s Restaurant also right across the street. We have never seen such a "dog friendly" hotel with a special cute dog area and dog amenities in the room. Our room #101 was a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen and very comfortable bed. And we loved the delicious fresh ground coffee! We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a king with a whirlpool suite on the top floor. We could see the ocean. It was terrific. Another plus is the Inn has a washer and dryer for use by guests. Only negative was the lack of an elevator. But that’s getting picky because everything else is terrific. A continental type breakfast was available to take back to your room. It was kind of nice to be able to eat breakfast on our balcony looking at the ocean. The lack of air conditioning did not matter.

I booked a room for my mom and her friend here and asked for an Ocean View not realizing that the hotel over looks the bay and not the ocean. Unfortunately the gentleman I spoke to miss spoke and confirmed it had an ocean view. When we got there to check in we learned that the views were over the bay and not the ocean. Lisa and Scott were the staff working and they went over and beyond to ensure my mom and her friend had the view they wanted. Lisa reached out to a sister hotel and managed to get the reservation changed to another location for the same price. The customer service was amazing and we were still offered warm cookies even though they weren’t going to be staying there. I never saw the room but I’m giving them 5 stars anyways.

Our first visit to this charming inn and we can’t wait to come back next year. Service was so hospitable! Scott was so delightful at check in and so patient with my very excited 6 year old who had soooo many questions about the beach. Rooms were cozy and we greatly appreciated the fire places, large fridges, and wonderful view of the beach! Bonus: they have beach toys, chairs, and wagons you can borrow if you forgot anything! Breakfast was far above the normal continental you would find and they do complimentary cookies in the evening! Yum! As we were getting ready to leave our car battery died and guess what they had a jumper box! Impressed! 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a quaint stay on the beach. Thank you!

Google
The staff goes out of it's way to please. The only possible change I would make is king instead of queen beds. If you're looking for a place to stay on the coast this is it. I am happily giving them 6 stars out of 5 possible, they earn it. It's truly wonderful that this is a business that actually works at what they do. Go here, look no farther.

The view was fabulous! The employees in the lobby treated us with so much respect and hospitality. They were very helpful and gave good recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The room was clean and cozy. It was our first visit and we definitely will be back.

Loved this inn. I highly recommend! The customer service was very helpful and inviting. I am a travel agent and it was definitely one of my favorite places to stay.

Yelp
Love this little place. Clean and a very friendly staff. Pet friendly if needed and right off the 101. Close for a walk on the beach and a restaurant next door.

Yelp
As much as I'd like to gatekeep this gem of a hotel, I feel it's my duty as a yelp elite to let y'all know that you need to stay here if you're near Lincoln City, Or. First of all they are right on the beach. Second of all they have the CUTEST amenities like sand toys for the kids, a fire pit and BBQ area, and it's like really really really dog friendly. The staff is oh so nice and helpful, they had dog amenities waiting for us in the super clean room overlooking the ocean and a really cute note from the hotel dog just giving us the lay of the land. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
A bit disappointed so far. It is adorable and clean, but not quite what I had hoped after saving up for a romantic getaway. I emailed and asked for the romance package but apparently even though they acknowledged it, it didn't get added to our room and couldn't be added when we got here or they didn't want to add it? The jacuzzi tub was lukewarm water and unusable because the hot water wouldn't get warm, and the tub was a big part of why we chose the hotel and room. Super cute place, might be good for another type of vacation, but wouldn't recommend for a romantic birthday and anniversary getaway.

Yelp
A hidden gem. My son is a heart patient and can get tired/fatigued easily (shoot me too)...this place is great. Right across from an easy access beach, cute place, fire pit, loaner beach toys, clean rooms are really competitive rates. We have stayed in quite a few rooms now and the 2nd floor has better views but the stairs are rough if you have physical issues. Mos right across the street -and open late so you could easily just park and not leave.

Yelp
Our stay was so amazing. We hosted a women's conference there and the staff could not have been more helpful throughout our entire stay. The T2W would like to thank the entire staff at Looking Glass Inn, in Lincoln city Oregon, for all the hard work, kind smiles, and knowledge of the area. You made our stay wonderful.

Tia B.

Yelp
Great hotel! We had the best stay. Everyone that works here are friendly and have great costumer service. We stayed in a double queen studio with our dog. Our dog doesn't like the smell of other dogs and he had no issue here because they do such a great job cleaning. The dog welcome basket is super cute too! Definitely will be back again!

Yelp
We spent a week here last summer and I am so glad that this is the place we chose. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a sliver view of the water and it suited us well. The beds were comfortable and the common area was large enough to entertain a few people who stopped in to visit. Continental breakfast is offered each A.M. and there is a coin-operated washer and dryer for use. Due to Covid, there was no daily housekeeping services during our stay, so the entry way and living room carpet got fairly sandy in places. We were able to acquire a vacuum and clean it up a bit before company came, so nbd. The inn was fairly quiet as was the surrounding area for the most part, we were able to sleep with our windows wide open and not be disturbed. The proximity to the beach and availability of beach chairs and toys was wonderful. Being close to Mo's gave us easy lunch options when we didn't want to drive into town, and the sweet shop next door was a special treat for the kiddos.

Yelp
I live this hotel! The staff is kind, the rooms are clean, the grounds are well maintained. We stay here at least twice a year for three days at an affordable rate. It's near everything you might need. Dog friendly. Just all around a super place to stay!

Beth R.

Yelp
Our favorite coast retreat. Comfortable, clean rooms that are well appointed. Grounds are beautifully maintained. Friendly, familiar faces greet us each visit. Centrally located on the coast, easy beach access and beautiful bay and ocean views. Would like to keep it a secret- it's the best place for family gingerbread house decorating and making memories!

Yelp
Spacious Rooms, (homeless?) guy creeping around the parking lot looking in cars. Good breakfast, good place if your staying with pets. Great location.

Yelp
Loved everything about this place. We were in a suite with a whirlpool tub and the view from the deck was amazing. Room was clean big and had everything we needed. Location was amazing for a walk to the beach, restaurants, or even the market! Will stay here again!! Bonus-All the sea lions we could see when we went down to the bay.

Kathy M.

Yelp
A delightful place to stay. The staff are very welcoming and responsive to requests.

Dakota C.

Yelp
(This is Steven writing.) My wife and I came here for our Honeymoon, staying in the whirlpool suite for a week straight. Lisa and John have been absolutely amazing to work with. No issues whatsoever ever, John stated that if we need anything to let them know, all I asked is for towels every 2 days as we shower or bathe every night, and Lisa walks around the corner and asks about what time works best for us and told us that housekeeping comes about 0930 every day. They have been spot on with towels and I couldn't ask for a better place. I'd love to give these guys 10 stars if I could.

Yelp
We stayed here for two nights (July 24th & July 25th, leaving the 26th, 2022), and overall it was a fairly good stay. We had a room with a jet tub and a fairly good view on the 3rd floor, but our jet tub didn't have any hot water. We called the front office, and they offered either a partial refund or to move to a different room. We chose to move to a different room, which ended up being on the 2nd floor. The jet tub in that room had warm water. It was a little harder to see the ocean from the balcony, but we still could. Also, the bed in the 2nd-floor room was noticeably more comfortable (the bed in the original room was a bit stiff, but the bed in the second room seemed to have a bit more padding and was more comfortable). There was also a fan in the room, which was nice, to help keep cool (although the weather was cool while we were there, it can be nice to have a small breeze to help be comfortable). Other amenities included a small refrigerator, microwave oven, some dishes & cutlery to use for food (they also included some dish soap and a sponge, along with a drying rack, to hand-wash the dishes in the sink when we were done with them). The wi-fi and internet was fairly good too. We brought a Roku device to connect to the TV, and we had no problem streaming videos with it in our room. The shower in the bathroom also had 3 fairly good sized dispensers with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The hotel is also across the street from Mo's, which is a fairly decent restaurant. We got a meal to go from there to bring back to our room. The hotel is also within walking distance of a beach, which is nice. Also, our room (and the hotel in general) was fairly quiet. There was a little bit of noise from neighbors, but overall not much, and it was fairly quiet. We were able to sleep fairly easily.

Yelp
Checked in and our room is great, even without a view. Right away we had a serious problem, this establishment being promoted as dog friendly. Went to the dog area and right away a woman with no leash on her big black dog , ran across the lawn and started trying to atack one of our small Shih Tzu dogs that was on his leash. This big black dog began chasing our dog around me as I was getting wrapped up in his leash and trying to protect him from the large dog. All the owner would do is stand across the lawn and yell at the dog. In the meantime I because wrapped up in my dog's leash and fell on the pavement bending back one if my fingernails enough to bleed and extremely pain also landing the palm of my had on a rock or something sharp slicing my hand.

Yelp
Heather, It was not miscommunication. I included both my pets and my children on the original reservation. When checking in confirmed again 2 pets 2 kids. My reservation total was 154.00. I had a coupon from YELP applied to the account. We had perfectly clear communication when she stated my total would be 144.00 for the night. After seeing a charge for $176.06 pending I gave Melissa a call only then did someone state, "oh well you have kids" Yet 2 weeks ago I wasn't charged an additional $30 or the week before that. Melissa also stated I should only be charge 165.00 an additional $20 for the kids. Yet the 176.06 went through this morning. update** We love staying at this hotel. What we don't love is being told we will pay one price then finding we've been charged $30 more then what we were told the night before when checking in. After calling to inquire why we were charged so much the only reason was we have kids??? Kids that we included in the reservation when placing it. I'd love to say this is the only time we've dealt with this but it's not. We stay here often like every week for at least one night and a month ago we started getting extra charges.... for "cleaning", "sand on the floor" and now "kids" that they know I have and always have with me. We left the room absolutely spotless with all the dishes done, tables clean and no sand on the carpet and we still manage to be charged an additional $30. We even have pictures of the room,,, expecting bogus cleaning charges. In the morning we will be reaching out beyond the management of this hotel to resolve this issue. We look forward to our next visit.

Yelp
This place is lovely. The rooms are immaculate , and the staff are wonderful. I had a little mis-hap with a few of the guest above me, but the manager Terry made it right and I was please with the outcome! Room 202 has a fireplace overlooking the beach and it's walking distance to Mo's across the street. Highly recommend this place - I will be back Thank you Terry!

Yelp
Great inn. Very clean and comfortable. We had great views of the ocean. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great location along the coast. Access to lots of restaurants and shops

Yelp
I stayed here once in the late 1990s, and we were so excited because we were able to bring our family dog, Jordan, with us. Well, it's been a long time since then, but the place is still a place to make great memories. Situated in a wonderful location right off the beach, it's perfect for fantastic beach walks. Also, because it's right next to Elenor's Undertow, and across the parking lot from Mo's, you have some great options for food literally right outside your door. With Robert's Bookstore just down the street, you have a favorite stop of Sheryle's and mine just a few blocks away. Not to mention My Master's Antique Store and of course, the beach!!!! The rooms themselves leave nothing to be desired. The room Sheryle and I stayed in with my parents was actually capable of housing g all of us. In fact, it had a full bedroom, and a living room with foldout couch so that we even ended up having two separate rooms, which was perfect. I cannot Express what a joy it was to stay in this hotel, and how much I hope that we can come back.

Yelp
Excellent place to stay that is affordable and pet friendly. We rented a two bedroom suite with 3 adults and two dogs for roughly $139 a night on January. The suite was spacious with a full kitchen , a dining area, and a 3 and 2 seater couch. The bedrooms were spacious with queen beds. Mattresses were very firm. Showers had dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and soap gel. So you didn't even have to bring those! Ample parking. They provide an excellent continental breakfast. There is oatmeal, muffins, bagels to toast with jams, peanut butter, and cream cheese. Apple and orange juice. Cereal and milk. They provide bowls and utensils both at the breakfast area and room! Cookies after 6pm! They provide a dog care basket with over sheets for furniture and beds to prevent damage. Even dog bowls and towels! Excellent service. Clean Facilities. Love it!

Yelp
Had a great one night stay at the Looking Glass in for our first time in Lincoln city. The front staff were SUPER kind, helpful and accommodating. We did a Whirlpool sweet with the winter discount. SO AFFORDABLE for what you get! Cute room, nice amenities and a great view. I wish I could see more waves vs water from our room. There are some sketchy characters around the dock at night - but this inn is nice, clean, affordable and safe!
google avatar

Jim M.

Yelp
Decent location, not an ocean view but a nice view of a little bay. John at the front desk was beyond friendly. Room was super clean and pretty nice. The whole place is well maintained and they have a nice dog area. And what was really nice is they give you a care basket for you dog if you have one. So obviously They are super pet friendly. Wasn't the ocean front we were hoping for but other then that it was pretty spot on.

Yelp
The Looking Glass was a great value. We had stayed at a sister property a few years ago. We purposely wanted a kitchen. We were gathering for a reunion and didn't want to eat all meals out or if some family might drop by for snacks. The kitchen and bathroom were adequate. The bedroom was very small without adequate storage space. The room was advertised as "no view" which was fine, but we noticed that most rooms at this property would only have a street or parking lot view. Parking can be difficult when the inn is full, but there are a half dozen spaces in a back lot as well. A decent continental breakfast is served daily, but the 8 am starting time may be late depending on your schedule.

Yelp
The Looking Glass Inn is in the same parking lot as Mo's there was nothing finer than looking over the Bay with my morning coffee and letting the summer coastal mist hit my face. My husband and I walked to Mo's to eat once we saw that the line has calmed down On our honeymoon we had champagne waiting in our room that was complementary the staff was very friendly and helpful The continental breakfast was so much fun it was in the lobby but you had a place to sit in peace and watch the news. Sorry for the folks that smoke these are non smoking rooms but they do have a space outside for you to smoke We had a hot tub and a fireplace in our room and it was extremely comfortable We hope you enjoy your time here as much as we did Enjoy

Yelp
We had never stayed here before but saw all the positive reviews. They weren't wrong. We had a dog friendly room that looked out over the bay. The room was immaculate, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We have stayed in some very nice hotels in many states that were not as clean. Upon arrival..they also gave us a basket full of "Pup Stuff". We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

Yelp
I am pretty sure we have been going here since early 2000's. We would alternate going to the Coast, or Bend for years for Anniversaries, and this was one of our go to places. After we bought our travel trailer we had kind of stopped staying at places because we really didn't need to. This year for Valentine's Day my guy decided to go old school, and get a room with a jacuzzi tub. I used to love the rooms here a lot, and thought the price was excellent. When we arrived I was happily surprised that they renovated the rooms. It was beautiful. I hardly even used my phone the whole while I was there so I didn't snap any pics of the new renovations. We went to Redbox to rent movies because the movies in the office were $4.50 the closest redbox is at the other end of town at McDonald's! We forgot to recommend to the staff to maybe upgrade to an HDMI cord for your DVD player so the quality/ sound is better on movies. The continental breakfasts are really good, and all of the rooms I have stayed in have all been equipped with dishes, and a mini fridge, as well as a microwave. I also like how close of a walk you are to the beach, I hear they have beach blankets and other things you can utilize, but I have never taken advantage. I usually have my own things. Mo's is across the street, I could care less about that place... I know a lot of people love it. I for one have gotten very sick eating their clam chowder in 2010. I recommend looking in to this place for its cute charm!

Natalie M.

Yelp
We were not familiar with the hotel, but booked it due to it being "dog friendly". It was GREAT! We were able to check in early thanks to Terry, in the office. Directly across from the bay and steps down the sand to the ocean. We loved it and will definitely be back! "I loved running on the beach. My own "potty spot" was great too! "have your owner take you!".
google avatar

Brandy D.

Yelp
This place checks all the boxes. Doggie friendly, right next to a great beach and Mo's! The romance package turned us on to a superior dinner spot, Sidedoor! Great grab bags for all day snacks! Super nice staff! We love it. SO COMING BACK!

Yelp
We stayed here for our anniversary/birthday trip and we loved it!! I called a couple of months in advance because I had a special request for the number of nights we could stay and the staff made arrangements for us. Thanks so much for that, Kim! We walked on the beach and cruised around town and had an amazing hot tub suite to come back too. They even delivered champagne to our room for us to celebrate. We highly recommend them for not only the rooms but the great staff as well!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. It's right at the ocean so it's a short walk to the beach. Very nice staff and rooms are very comfortable. It's a pet friendly place. Close to places to eat. It's our favorite place to stay!

Yelp
This place is a gem and worth every penny we had a king bed hot tub and a fireplace. They have real dishes in the cupboards for your use. Very high end and a great price I was amazed and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Yelp
We originally found out about this hotel by searching for dog friendly hotels along the Oregon Coast. I'm so happy we did as this has become our go to place whenever we drive down to the Oregon. We have been staying here since 2009. It's a cute little hotel in Lincoln City, steps away from Taft Beach. Lots of parking available with a few cafes and restaurants within walking distance. It can get quite busy in the area as it's located in the touristy historic Taft District. The hotel is well run and maintained. Always very clean and fresh smelling, despite being a dog-friendly hotel. Love the simple and beach themed decor. They have complimentary breakfast every morning from 8-10 am. Quite a good selection of muffins, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee and tea. They also provide cookies in the evening and coffee throughout the day. What makes this place amazing is the friendly staff. They make an effort to get to know you and accommodate all your needs. Extremely helpful with suggestions on things to do and where to eat. They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. A few years ago, we brought our sick GSD for the last time to enjoy her favourite beach. The staff was so supportive and even gifted us a cute little book to help ease with her passing. We returned a year later with our new GSD to spread her ashes on the beach and it was another memorable stay. Definitely caters to dog lovers...upon check-in, you get a welcome basket filled with treats, bags, bowls, towels and sheets for your pooch. They also have dog beds of all sizes available. There is a designated grassy pet area in the back. Make sure to look through their albums in the lobby to look through all the past happy customers :) Best hotel ever and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Lincoln City.

Yelp
I had a friend traveling to Lincoln City, OR and was telling her about this great hotel I stayed in. The looking glass was a great hotel, beautiful views, great breakfast and super clean and unbelievably reasonable. My daughter and I stayed here about 7 years ago, so not sure if that all still remains, but it was a very memorable place.

Yelp
My husband and I along with our two pups Lucky & Dutch stayed for 3 nights over Easter weekend. I really enjoyed our stay in room 205. My family has a house here in town, and we opted to stay in the hotel because the house would be a little crowded with only one bathroom. It is unlikely I will stay here often, but I will gladly recommend it to others. Our check in was smooth and easy. They furnish dog bowls, dog sheets and dog towels. The staff gave my dogs a ton of attention, which was really sweet. There is a continental breakfast from 8-10 am. Just cereal, bagels, muffins, etc. the office is open from 8am to 10pm which is ok, but I did find myself in need of something before 8, that would be the only problem I had during my stay, no big deal. The hotel is almost right on the water. Room 205 had two very comfortable queen beds, a big bathroom and is a rather large room, a family of four and two dogs would be quite comfortable here. You are permitted to leave your dog in the room as long as they are crated. We had no problems with hearing other dogs, even though there were many here on a packed spring break/Easter weekend. There are cookies in the lobby at 6pm. Each night I made myself decaf peppermint tea. They have to go cups and coffee in the lobby all day which is another plus. I have a Lincoln City list that includes my favorite businesses in the area.... But here is my cliff notes version: Hwy 101 Burger has the best burgers in Oregon (walking distance, cash only), Tidal Raves has a wonderful view and amazing food at reasonable prices (driving distance, make reservations), Beach Dog Cafe has a fabulous breakfast (cash only, can be a wait, about 1 mile away). If you are looking for a very dog friendly property on the Central Oregon Coast, you have found your hotel.

Yelp
I love this place. I stay here often and also buy gift certificates for my parents. Ive only stayed in the jacuzzi suites facing the bay. The room is huge with a fireplace, jacuzzi tub, robes, comfy king bed and deck facing the bay. Its quiet and relaxing. The price for the view and the type of room usually under 150.00 a night you can't beat it. Their customer service is top notch...I had a small issue that I brought to their attention and they went above and beyond my expectations to correct it! Thank you Looking Glass Inn for being my "Go To" hotel.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed here for our one year anniversary, and we had an excellent time. The staff was extremely friendly, and allowed us to check in almost twenty minutes early. (I'd been expecting to have to wait in the lobby until four, but they said it wasn't a problem at all and let us check in). We booked a whirlpool suite for something like $99 a night. Our room was on the third floor, and the view was gorgeous. The kitchenette is convenient, the tub is super relaxing, and the fireplace creates a fantastic atmosphere. The only negative things I have to add- being on the third floor, the wind gusts were very loud and woke me up a few times. I guess that's to be expected however, due to how close the inn is to the ocean. Also, on the morning we were scheduled to check out, we woke up to no running water. The front desk was very apologetic, and was already working on fixing it. I didn't really mind at all, since I was about to drive home and I could shower there, but if I'd been staying longer, I would have been bothered. Overall, 10/10, will definitely be back.

Yelp
Our family rented 6 rooms total over the weekend to attend a wedding. 6 separate rooms! None of us will be returning for these reasons. Saturday night some of us got into our room around 1130 pm. There were 3 children under the age of 3 in the room. 2 of them woke up and started crying. We were trying to hurry and brush our teeth and get ready for bed and soothe babies back to sleep... in the mean time the management called the room phone and told us they were calling the COPS because the baby's type of crying were not "babies crying for their mom" and was basically accusing us of abusing our children. The children were crying for 5 minutes max and they had just woken up. For this lady to accuse us and then threaten to call the cops is absolutely ridiculous!! She must not have kids of her own to know that kids cry for their moms and get pissed off when their tired and don't get what they want. Not only that but our room smelled like dogs, there was no air conditioning in the unit nor was there any type of air flow circulation at all besides a tiny plug in fan, so the muggy heat with the dog smell was just disgusting! The couches and beds were uncomfortable and there was hair left in the bathroom from previous people. The room we stayed in had 2 bedrooms and 1 small bathroom and was over $400 for Friday and Saturday night. Far over priced for the quality of room and unprofessional service! The only nice thing about this place is that it is right by Mo's restaurant and right by the Bay Area where you can walk down and play in the sand or make a fire. Needless to say none of us out of the 6 rooms will be returning.

Yelp
This is a lovely little find. The rooms are clean and they are spacious. (the ones with kitchenette are a bit smaller, but still clean.) It is located right at the beach, and if you are hungry, Mo's is right across the street. The service is amazing, they have beds for your dogs, along with a package that comes with food bowls and other fun items. There are beach items to check out, like towels, buckets, chairs and even wagons to haul it all in. You will never find a nicer staff or one that is more accommodating. They have cookies at night and complimentary basic breakfast items in the morning. But the best part: The beds are AMAZING. You can actually sleep in them, and the pillows are incredible. Try them...you will return again and again.

Yelp
Great cozy place in Lincoln City! We loved our 3rd floor room overlooking the low tide. The room was very large and spacious and loved the whirlpool and fireplace. You are walking distance to Mo's Seafood and a few other little joints. The bed was super comfy, and the breakfast in the AM hit the spot! Two thumbs up.

Yelp
We have been going there for years. Initially it was to be able to take our little puppy, but now he's gone... we still love the place. We have a special block of rooms that are our favorites, and sometimes hard to get! The front desk gal worked her magic to get us a room on the dates we wanted! Housekeeping this trip was also wonderful... all in all, another great get away! Thank you and see you next time!

Yelp
I booked this location online in large part due to it's location and the pictures on their website. I did not do my own due diligence and when we checked-in the room did not match the images on their website. The location was still good, the room was nice and clean and matched the description online. I am including a picture from our room. We felt the location was good for the price, except for the pictures on their website misleading. This is the reason I am giving 3-starts. I would probably stay here again, but I now know that I need to call and request one of the four rooms that match the view on their website.

Yelp
Our spacious, spotlessly clean suite overlooked the bay. Trish greeted us enthusiastically and made sure we had our bearings and several restaurant suggestions before letting us go. We ended up at the nearby Snug Harbor Bar and Grill for an enjoyable meal.

Yelp
Right near the beach and quaintly appointed, this adorable inn is so inviting! The front desk staff Melissa and Terry are especially friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are always immaculate. It's the perfect Oregon family owned inn for a perfect Oregon coast experience. My fiancée and I are RCFL (return customers for life)!!

Yelp
The Looking Glass inn was everything we needed on our trip. First off, it was really clean. No issues. The room had all the comforts of home. The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen had everything you would need and the view of the water was nice to watch with coffee in hand. A great little getaway to make you feel right at home. Cost was fair and the staff was friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
This was a great place to stay. The people at the front desk were super nice!! I wish I had more time to stay and relax. They don't have AC but don't worry. There was a great breeze that kept us cool. The rooms were clean and big. We made use of the mini fridge and they had ice to keep our drinks cold. The front desk closes at 10pm. I'm not sure what they do for travelers coming in late so you might want to ask before you book. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance which is a plus and they have free parking at the hotel.

Yelp
So beyond impressed with this Hotel stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The location couldn't be more convenient, a walk away from the beach, Mo's, and a few small stores. Adequate parking spaces, they even have a little fire pit they light at night for guests. The room was clean and comfortable. Had a whirlpool tub and balcony with an amazing view of the bay, which I loved. Will definitely be staying here many times in the future.

Yelp
This one is really hard to summarize, there were so many great things going on here and a few things to watch out for or know about. What we liked: Super friendly staff Very dog friendly Easiest beach access that I've ever had. Silitz Bay is directly across the street, and the ocean beach is only a couple of minutes away. The beaches are very very clean. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular. Well supplied kitchen. Easy walk to a grocery store, bakery, hamburger place, fish taco place, etc. Very clean room. That's a lot of great stuff. But, you may want to know: Ceilings are very thin. Were the people upstairs assembling furniture? Possibly. Our room was right on the road, and as we were there over a holiday weekend, had an up close experience of one of the busiest parking lots on the Oregon coast. Really jarring. Glad we stayed a few extra days to get a sense of how it is when quiet, and, you may want to make sure you are getting a room that is not right on the road. Internet: ok, we don't really go to the coast for high speed internet. I've not had good internet service anywhere on the Oregon, Washington, or California coast, it is rural. Don't think about streaming videos. That said, the wifi/internet service was very flaky. Sometimes the wifi network would simply disappear, other times access to the Internet was down, and sometimes everything was fine. Dryer sheets. If you are allergic to them, you need to bring your own bedding. Value. Granted it was a holiday weekend, and, we paid $800 for four days in a one bedroom with kitchen. That seems like a lot, all things considered, and maybe holiday weekends are just really really expensive. This is not a quiet retreat space experience of the coast. It's a get out there and do things experience.

Yelp
This is a great little hotel on the Oregon Coast. The staff is very friendly and work to make your stay as comfortable as possible. When I walked in to the lobby to check in she was expecting me and had everything ready to go. She even had warm cookies that come out every evening. I booked a whirlpool suite for $99, but had a yelp check-in deal to save $10 which is great. The room was very clean and included a fireplace and whirlpool. Every room also has a kitchenette which makes it convenient for long stays. Coming from the east coast I woke up early every morning and I was able to enjoy making my own coffee and sitting by the fireplace. If you are looking for relaxation this is it! They also offer free breakfast from 8-10 in the lobby. Keep in mind that this hotel does have exterior corridors. I am not typically a fan of that, but I did feel safe here. I would definitely return if I find myself in the area again!

Yelp
My girlfriend and I have stayed here multiple times during the past 8 years (in a variety of rooms - including the whirlpool room and the multi-room suite) and it's definitely our favorite place to stay on the Oregon coast. The rooms are spacious, clean, and stocked with pretty much everything you'd need (the cooking supplies are always appreciated.) The location is perfect as it is within 1 minute walking distance of the beach, Mo's Seafood restaurant, and various local shops. The Inn also has lots of beach chairs, beach blankets, and beach wagons that guests can use for free. The staff is always friendly and the nighttime snacks/morning breakfast selection is pretty solid. [It is weird that the Inn gives guests so much for free, but requires $4.50 to check out old dvds lol.] I only deduct a star because if you stay on the lower floor, the people above you can often be heard walking and making noise (running dogs can also be an issue.) I am particularly sensitive to this - so it may not be an issue for most people, but be warned. Overall - a great place to stay!
