We stopped at Looking Glass Rock and were not disappointed! We climbed up the 5.4 sport climb, took lots of pictures at the top and loved the repel down! Such a great way to end our trip!

Very beautiful look out We came here looking for rattlesnakes because our tour guy said they are known in this area. We didnt see any though. But the views were epic

If you have time and a vehicle to go a little off roading this is a gorgeous landmark! It's a bit of a precarious climb but you're rewarded with an unbelievable view.

Road and parking are rough, but worth it. A short, steep climb. Beautiful.

Looking glass rock is worth the stop if you are driving by. It is about two miles off road (we could do it easily in a regular clearance sedan, but weather will affect the road conditions). You can park about 200 yards from the opening. It opens up to a large open cavern. Or toddler loved exploring the area.

Really cool rock with an arch. Short drive from freeway and park right next to the rock. There are 2 ways to get up to arch

We love this arch. It’s a beautiful place to simply hike around if nothing else. If you are into mountaineering, it’s a fun climb up the east side. You can repel down the large amphitheater face. And, if you know what you’re doing you can swing from the ledge too. Driving instructions: just off US 191, take a dirt road for a few minutes. Follow the road to see the west side of the arch. To see the East side, take a left along the dirt road and follow until you see a bar wire fence. Head west along the fence until you arrive at a big rock. Hike around the rock southward to see the arch. This parking area is where you can begin climbing. 4x4 or AWD is recommended.

Of the beaten path just a little, but a really cool detour. We weren't entirely sure what to expect, but it was bigger than we thought, and different from other landmarks around (even though it's still an arch). There were rock climbers there while we were visiting, and it helped give us perspective of the size of rock we were looking at. Pretty impressive, and will make this a frequent detour as we travel south.
