Enjoyed our time at Lookout Point Lakeside Inn. From prior to arrival, the team was friendly and addressed any questions that I had quickly. Check-in was easy and is was helpful being shown around the property and given a heads up on what was up for breakfast the next morning. |Our suite was lovely, nicely decorated, good storage space for luggage and very comfortable. We had a nice patio with a view of the lake and gardens. The staff were very friendly and were accommodating to the minor changes we wanted to make to the breakfast order. |Although we didn't get to try any of the other meals outside of the breakfast, truly enjoyed a frozen cocktail on a couple of evenings. Speaking of breakfast, it was filling and tasty. Good way to start the day before either relaxing by the lake or going to sight see in Hot Springs. |We will be back and would highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights and when I tell you that it was such a nice getaway, I am not lying. We got in on a Wednesday and came into the property and just took in the beauty in the landscaping design over the entirety of our stay. Great vibes all around, the people were incredibly kind and it had that feeling that you were staying with family. Every time we came back in from hitting the town we were asked how our day was. It was such a great stay and the location is amazing we were no more than 10 minutes from the majority of things we did all week. We hit the canoes, the fire pit, the breakfast was always really good too. All the activities we did in the town were also so fun. I had purchased one of the couples packages as this was a thank you trip for my wife being such an amazing woman and just giving her a little getaway from her day job as she’s come into her role as a new stay at home mom to our beautiful now 10 month old. So much fun to be had in Hot Springs. Matching tattoos on a whim, goofy goodwill outfits, night out at the casino, the Woodland Gardens, mountain tower. Too much to list. Long story short: Book the trip. Highly recommend.

This was my & my husband’s first time to stay at Lookout Point Lakeside Inn & it could not have been any better. We stayed in the Mountain View room which was lovely & liked having the covered parking space assigned to the room. We were greeted when arrived & showed around the beautiful grounds. Fresh cookies & a nice assortment of drinks were available. The 2 breakfasts were soo good with coffee brought before the meal. We chose to have them delivered to our room which was appreciated. The room was super clean, such a comfy bed & the view off our private balcony really nice. Every staff person we had contact with were helpful, friendly & professional. This is a top notch Inn & highly recommend!

Beautiful spot for our summer getaway! The attention to detail at LOP is amazing- from in-room amenities like bath gel and a white noise machine, to the immaculately manicured grounds with blooming flowers and bird feeders. The food was incredible. Our time was an ideal blend of rest/comfort in the room and fun on the water. Highly recommend!

If I could give six stars I would! This hotel was absolutely amazing from the stunning views of the garden, and the lake to the incredibly soft and comfortable beds to the wonderful staff who are so attentive and helpful. Our room was absolutely gorgeous (We stayed in the Charleston) which the front desk employee told us was her favorite because it is tucked away at the edge of the hotel and more private, but also has a large patio. We took the two person Kayak out around the little islands on the lake and had a wonderful time! The breakfast was different each day with so many delicious and fresh flavors and they customize it however you would like them to. I seriously told them I would move in if could. It is my favorite hotel of all!!!

Where do I even begin ? This hotel is immaculate! Beautifully curated, spacious rooms, incredible amenities . I stayed in the Charleston suite and booked the couples package. Upon entrance, I was greeted with champagne, charcuterie and their world famous truffles and cookies. The room was sparkling clean, the view outside of my windows was breathtaking, and the whirlpool was to die for. The breakfast was delivered promptly each morning and it was delicious!! Weather was a bit rainy and windy, so we didn’t get to kayak, but we enjoyed laying in the hammocks and walking the grounds! Aside from the beautiful environment, what made this place truly special was the caring and kind staff! My heart is singing just thinking about them. I hurt myself on a hike and they greeted me at the door to help me down the stairs, asked how I was doing and sent ice to my room. They accommodated me graciously!!! I will be going back regularly as this place is my now favorite space to stay in hot springs!!!!!

My new husband and I had a mini moon here the day after our wedding. Everything and everyone was fantastic! They helped move our bags, had wonderful service for breakfast or extra treats ordered. Had cocktails delivered to us in the garden by the lake. The environment was so relaxing. We extended our stay by 1 day immediately upon arriving! The only thing we did not do well with was the very soft beds and pillows. We know that’s personal preference so it would be fine for anyone not needing a firmer surface to sleep on. We definitely want to try to make this a yearly trip.

We stayed at Lookout Point for 5 days. The staff were amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was phenomenal. I can’t say anything bad about this place. We went into Hot Springs Hot, went to a park and decided to just stay there because it was paradise. |They have thought of everything to make your visit a wonderful experience. |I can’t wait to go back. If you need some serenity this is it. |By the way. It’s a 10 star not a 5😀

Yelp
My wife always seems to find the best places for us to stay while on vacation. This little jewel is so hospitable and romantic on Lake Hamilton. Our room was the Birdsong. The staff is so friendly and welcoming especially Mrs Shelia. Would highly recommended this place and these pictures I posted don't even begin showcase its true beauty.

Yelp
Understated elegance; all the romance & comfort, with none of the glitz. Beautiful lakeside views, and warm relaxing rooms. These aspects are a welcone change from traditional hotels. Oddities: The bathroom decor is eclectic; like a rich old lady wearing her favorite clothes without regard to colors or season - interesting. If you purchase Jockey Club access theough LOP; you'll pay $37/each to Lookout Point - and then an additional $20/each at the Oaklawn Racetrack. This should be noted on the LOP website.

Yelp
Most beautiful inn. Staff is wonderful and friendly. The bed, pillows and sheets soft as clouds. The view if garden, lake and mountains awesome. Room service and meals delightful. Sweet hideaway. Peaceful. Romantic.

Yelp
Beautiful lakeside property, impeccable & friendly service, extremely comfortable bed & room, lovely patio to enjoy the view & landscaping, lots of outdoor lounging options, includes a delicious breakfast & coffee that you can choose to have delivered to your room. We will be back!!!

Yelp
I can't say enough nice things about this inn! What a treat!!!! I booked it to surprise my husband on his birthday (it was the end to a 12 day road trip) and we stayed here 2 nights. I'm not going to lie, it was a little expensive ($800 for 2 nights) but WELL worth the money! Breakfast and water sports are included in your stay. We used a pedal boat and the kayaks available. There's also a fire pit for s'mores, and several sports to play like basketball and tennis on a little island available to reach by boat. The room was immaculate, and we particularly enjoyed the jet tub in the bathroom! Overall it was a much needed relaxing getaway, I can't imagine being more relaxed than I was here. The staff was kind and attentive and even gave us a late checkout because our flight was delayed. They also surprised my husband with a nice detail for his birthday. There's nowhere else I would stay in Hot Springs besides this Inn.

Yelp
Stunning boutique hotel on the lake. Beautifully decorated all different rooms, breakfast area and lobby. The breakfast each day was unique and delicious, attentive staff, and just gorgeous grounds. It shows how much attention is being given to this place from inside out. Very romantic and relaxing. The place also has free labile equipment such as paddle boats, kayaks and floaties. This is the place to come and unwind in Hamilton Lake. Also loved that it's a short drive from historic Hot Springs's downtown. Thank you staff and owners for this nestled gem.

Yelp
Fantastic view, great food, great service My wife and I recently went to Hot Springs on an overnight stay. We didn't want to stay at a chain hotel and decided on Lookout Point. We enjoy B&Bs, but this was a cross between a B&B and a hotel - more like a boutique hotel. It was difficult to choose between the 16 beautiful rooms. Tiffany checked us in - like she had already done for so many other guests over the Fourth of July weekend. She was very gracious as she explained that breakfast would be delivered to our room, told us about the complimentary cookies (very tasty) and soft drinks, as well as the access to the canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats available for our use during out stay. Although my wife is not handicapped, she was having difficulty going up and down the main stairs. When I approached the Front Desk, they willingly worked to accommodate access to our room; a much-appreciated act of kindness. We stayed in the Calico Rock room on the Ground Floor with walk-out access to a small porch with 2 rocking chairs and an excellent view of the lake. It was very peaceful. They are outdoor hammocks (double hammocks), outdoor chairs and benches plus a fantastic view of the lake and all the boats passing by. Although we didn't need all the features, our room was quite Accessible, including the Shower. Our shower could easily accommodate a wheelchair and included a height adjustable showerhead and a full body shower experience; a nice feature for everyone actually. At first, the bed seemed as if it would be too soft. Nope. We both enjoyed a nice, comfortable nights sleep. Our room even had a full-size twin bed, so 3 people can easily sleep in this room. What a tasty breakfast we enjoyed - served in our room due to COVID at the time we visited. From the Peach fruit smoothie to the excellent Omelet Roulade (my favorite) with ham, cheddar, Dijon and onion, to the well-seasoned potatoes and house made Blueberry muffin. All washed down with Orange-Cranberry juice and Kuerig coffee. Even though the potatoes were cold (hard to keep hot in room service) they provided Jalapeño sauce to enhance the flavor. Overall a delicious breakfast to round out our stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the scenery out our window was great and we had a wonderful time. If you're tired of staying in chain hotels, "break the chain" and take a look at all Lookout Point has to offer when you plan your next trip to, or through, Hot Springs.

Yelp
Wow- this place is incredible! We were concluding a 10 day road trip, heading back to Dallas, and our plans to share an Airbnb with a couple of friends in Hot Springs fell through last minute. It was my bday, so I was totally bummed. My husband found this place and we splurged on the Charleston room (king room, newly remodeled, first floor, excellent lake view). We are SO GLAD we found this place, and will definitely be returning. Everything is 5 stars. Customer service, decor, amenities, etc. Here are just a few of the highlights: - We arrived to our room to find a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates, along with a personalized bday card. - There's a canoe, a paddle boat and 2 kayaks for the guests. We were canoeing around during sunset within 10 mins of checking in. - The jetted rub was amazing. - The bedding was insanely comfortable. - The grounds were beautiful (landscaping, water feature, hammocks, etc.) I'll stop gushing and point out only 2 very small things that weren't a big deal to us, but might be to some given the price point (clearly not worth knocking off a star)- they aren't using soft toilet paper, and we could hear when our upstairs neighbor turned on the jets in their tub, but that will usually be the case anywhere! If you're looking for relaxation and luxury, this should be your go-to!

Yelp
A boutique inn on Lake Hamilton...how could I resist? Charming & romantic. It's definitely an upscale property paying attention to every little detail but it's also very warm & welcoming. Rooms overlook the lake and ours had a private balcony where we sat & enjoyed some wine in the evenings and coffee in the mornings. Listening to all the birds singing was very special. I really enjoyed the extra plush bed, large whirlpool tub, fireplace, & gourmet breakfast brought up to the room that we enjoyed in bed. The property itself is very private and features a very large backyard that can be enjoyed by all guests. Whether you'd like to enjoy a kayak on the lake or go swimming or sit by a fire in the evening or take a nap in one of their hammocks, they have it all! I can't wait to come back here! Truly one of those experiences one will never forget. Thank you to the owners who run this place & have created such a special escape.

Yelp
I don't think I have seen a nicer staff anywhere in the world that I have been. The place is nice and clean with a great breakfast brought to your room in the morning. The grounds are well kept with canoes, kayaks and paddle boats included in the price. But get there early because they are first come first serve. An evening wine and cheese cruise is available for an extra charge. This place is more geared for adults than family's with small kids, which is nice to have an adult get away sometimes. Our 18 year old sone was welcome but he was also the only one I saw here.

Yelp
We stayed for three nights and drove in from Houston. The staff was super accommodating when it came to being flexible due to Hurricane Laura about either moving up or pushing back our stay as we didn't know what to expect. I am allergic to diary and they took it very seriously with the breakfast, which was delicious every morning. We asked them to help us put in ice for our cooler since we driver from Houston and they helped with that and gave us some snacks. They really go above and beyond. We canoed Lake Hamilton one night which they provided for free and swung in the hammock at sundown. The room is eclectic and charming. We would highly recommend going to the Garvan Gardens, Kollective Coffee, Wills Rolls, and doing a different bathhouse everyday.

Yelp
Everything about this Inn is pure pleasure! We stayed in the Mountain View room. The view from our balcony overlooked the garden and the lake. We came in February but the garden was still beautiful. There is a fountain area that it very pleasing to the ears. Our room was beautiful top notch in every way. The layout of the room was like being in your own home we didn't hear any showers or doors from other guests. Our room had a private entrance shared with one other room. You are given a code to enter on a key pad so the building is secure. Every person we encountered was lovely. The breakfast was fine dining quality.

Yelp
Me and my husband stayed at Lookout Point about a month ago while celebrating our 6-year anniversary and we were both very impressed. Where to being? The food: Mouth-watering fresh-baked daily cookies, amazingly refreshing infused water, smooth, fresh coffee offered upstairs each morning at 7. Breakfasts are wonderful and definitely cooked from scratch - chilled peach soups, parfaits, frittatas, etc. And by the way, the kitchen staff deserves a standing ovation for being able to modify meals based on dietary restrictions. I don't eat meat and my husband is lactose-intolerant and yet we were both able to eat the breakfasts with slight modifications. The staff: Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Friendly, without being overbearing and very helpful - they were able to book last minute massages for us and as mentioned above, they communicated our dietary needs to the kitchen staff so we could enjoy our daily breakfasts. The grounds: Beautiful! The gardens were lush and a bird-watchers dream. The lake views are breathtaking. One relatively cool evening, me and the hubby enjoyed some pre-dinner drinks and appetizers outside on the covered patio. Had it not been so hot for most of our stay, I would have taken advantage of the seating and/or the hammocks available and read outdoors. All-in-all we are VERY glad we chose LOP. It was hands-down the best part of our stay in Hot Springs.

Yelp
In a nutshell we will be back. The owners of this guest house are absolutely doing it right. The little touches mean everything. Coffee served upstairs in the morning. Beautiful landscaped Garden that just enhances God's handiwork. It's lovely to sit out on your patio and hear nothing but birds and water trickling. Cheese, crackers, chocolates and port wine served each afternoon. Fresh baked cookies throughout the day. Coffee and Tea 24 hours a day. Even more little touches like having to go cups for your coffee, and having little bath gels in your bathroom everyday. They definitely know what they're doing. There's nothing about this place that isn't five stars all the way. Oftentimes a five-star establishment has things they can improve on. I found nothing here to improve on. Keep up the Fantastic work to the staff, and to the owners thank you for a beautiful, relaxing weekend.

Yelp
I traveled to Lookout Point Lakeside Inn with three girlfriends recently. What a beautiful place! The hosts and staff have achieved the perfect balance of being friendly and accommodating but not overbearing. The facilities are absolutely gorgeous: from the linens to the décor to the grounds. The meals are absolutely delicious, starting with fresh fruit and if you're lucky, a wonderful fresh juice. The property is conveniently located near Hot Springs (15 minute drive), and Little Rock (1 hour) if you want to explore. Relax on your balcony with hot coffee in the morning and watch the red-winged blackbirds chase each other through the back yard. I stayed in the Birdsong room and it was a truly lovely second floor haven. For a wonderfully relaxing vacation go to this Inn and unwind. You won't want to leave!

Yelp
My wife surprised me with a week-long road trip for my birthday, and one of our stops was this beautiful B&B. We brought our two rat terriers, who were made to feel very welcome and also had a great time! The owners, Sam and Nancy, were extremely attentive and kind, and the overnight attendant went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay (she saw us sitting on the grass by the water and brought us towels to lay on.) The breakfast was great, a 3 course meal with homebrewed coffee and delicious juice. My wife, our rat terriers, and myself couldn't have asked for a better stay- there's no doubt we'll be back!

Yelp
One of the best stays I've ever had. The staff is attentive and very friendly. The perfect mix of helpfulness without being over the top. I would highly recommend staying here. Plus it is very clean and a very relaxing place.

Yelp
Staying at Lookout Point was like having the amenities of home, but knowing and feeling like you are on vacation. Located on Lake Hamilton, this inn prides itself in the comfort and satisfaction of its clients. Once you get into your room and open the windows, you'll know why this place is such a gem. The room was very comfortable and perfect for a romantic getaway. The linens used on the beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Should you feel the need to use your laptop, they offer free WiFi There is also a desktop available for use should you need to lookup local establishments. Ray and Kristie (the owners of Lookout Point), do their very best to make sure that their customers are relaxed and taken care of. They host tasty daily breakfasts in their lakeside dining room. If you're an early riser, fresh coffee is ready and plentiful in the upstairs hallway. I also made sure to enjoy their small bowls of Hershey's kisses. Yeah, that was me that was eating them all up. If you are in the mood for late night movie, there is a library of flicks in their study. There is also an area for late night snacks and board games should your competitive spirit grab a hold of you. Aside from vacationers, Lookout Point also attracts many local birds. You may on any given day see cardinals, blue birds, ducks or geese. It was an awesome sight to see how many birds fly in to visit the number of feeders located on the property. Not to be overlooked are their two hammocks, swing and canoe. Make sure to spend some time enjoying these amenities. We had a great time and look forward to making this our go-to getaway inn.

Yelp
Just an amazing little inn right on the lake. I would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting Hot Springs. The whole place has a wonderfully cozy feel and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a beautiful garden space in the back off the inn and lovely rooms and tranquil public spaces like a sun room and dining room overlooking the lake. Totally a five star experience.

Yelp
Pricey? It's worth the money! I like to think of LPLI as a micro resort, because they are small enough to meet your individual needs yet have enough resources to meet various needs. We were pleasantly surprised to see how family-friendly they were. We will likely return with our children. This is a wonderful place to get away to a small city to do a little site seeing but also spend plenty of time at the Inn relaxing. We went as a place to "get away and relax," and LPLI exceeded our expectations.

Yelp
My friend and I met here for a much needed girls spa weekend. We stayed in the Lakeview Terrace Condo. Highly recommend! It was very secluded and quiet. Excellent accommodations and amazing view. The most relaxing stay I've ever had. Beds were super comfy - lots of added relaxing bonuses; jacuzzi tub and sound machines :-) Bravo! Perfect weekend. Will come back here for sure and recommend to anyone!

Yelp
My wife and I were passing through Hot Springs on a cross-country road trip for our 33rd wedding anniversary. We found Lookout Inn online and planned to stay 2 nights. We had high expectations based on what we saw on the Inn's web site. Once we arrived, we were blown away by how well the Inn is managed. Everything is extremely well tended and every detail has been clearly thought through. Our suite was perfect (Hot Springs Suite) and private. It felt like we were alone in the woods. Breakfast and overall service was also on-point. Loved the inn, loved Hot Springs, we will be back!

Yelp
Very enjoyable stay. Our four person family utilized the condo nearby, as well as the main house. Excellent service, fantastic accommodations, beautiful scenery and delicious food. The agenda the owners put together for my family was great. All of their recommendations were awesome as well. Highly recommended

Yelp
My husband booked us a weekend night getaway and later had to change plans to bring our daughter. We called to ask about milk alternatives but then were told we could not bring our child. The owners allows dogs and loud sex but not children. I then tried to talk to the owners to get a refund back because they weren't allowing us to stay over a policy they say is unmistakable but based on other reviews many have made the same mistake. The husband out of the owners, Sam, argued with me on the phone and said to him the issue was resolved. He would not resolve the issue for his customer and was very discriminatory on us being military before he hung up on the person he just took $450.00 from.

Yelp
We stayed at Lookout Point Lakeside Inn celebrating 10 years together. Our room was in the velvet ridge, I can't speak for the other rooms but this room was beautiful! The whole stay was wonderful and the staff extremely attentive. The view, breakfast, happy hour/brunch, staff, room, amenities... the list could go on, all amazing. Wonderful owners, we stayed long enough to meet them both. A 4 day 3 night stay, I didn't want to leave and look forward to going back!

Yelp
We made a reservation with the Inn a few months ago. Unfortunately, a family emergency came up a couple of days before our reservation. We offered to move our dates but because we were within 48 hours they informed us there was nothing they could do and charged us for both nights. While they were within their rights to do this , I was very disappointed they had no interest in working with us.

Nick B.

Yelp
We had a wonderful weekend here. Beautiful garden, nice views of the lake from the room, and a delicious breakfast. Worth every penny. Definitely going back.

Yelp
Lookout Point is located on the shores of Lake Hamilton and the setting is just perfect for total relaxation. The gardens at the Inn are spectacular and the sounds of the water just add to the total feel of wanting to live there forever. If you are not able to climb stairs you may have a problem as there is no elevator from the top floor to the downstairs area where breakfast is served. There are some downstairs suites but, whenever you decide to go make sure you plan ahead. Rooms are often booked months in advance. Kristi and Ray the innkeepers are so nice and you can tell they take pride in their Inn and making their guests feel right at home. We have stayed here twice and look forward to our next trip. Each room has been named after a town in the state of Arkansas and decorated with its own unique beauty and their creativity is evident in how some items are used. I always get ideas for my home while there. The breakfasts are delicious and there is a daily afternoon snack/dessert and glass of wine or ice tea. They will accommodate any special dietary restrictions or preferences as best they can without extra charge. They also have a limited room service menu at night if you decide to just stay in for the evening. They will allow you to look at some of the other rooms if they are available to be viewed. It is a real treat to do so. Next time you stay you just might want to pick a different room for another unique stay experience. It is a luxury Inn and the room rates reflect that setting. However, it is not a stuffy atmosphere at all. You will feel right at home upon arrival and until you check out. Each room is priced according to size of the room and days of the week. Weekend and holidays are more expensive versus Sun-Thurs. and certain times of the year may fit your budget that higher tourist season. If you are in the area and a room is available do yourself a favor and go you won't be disappointed. Oh before I forget if you stay on a Wednesday it is all about chocolate......don't want to spoil it just know chocolate is covered all over Wednesday...and we missed it this year! argh!

Yelp
Gotta echo other reviewers' rave reviews for LPLI: beautiful and serene location, accommodating and professional staff, perfectly-appointed and comfortable rooms. Booked a long weekend for Hubbie's birthday and it turned out to be the perfect getaway. Almost didn't book LPLI because of the short distance to the heart of Hot Springs, but it wound up being a non-issue since it was just an easy 10 minute drive with little to moderate traffic. Love, love, love LPLI! It is exactly what a B&B should be. We'll definitely go back.

Yelp
Dreamgirl and I stayed here 3 nights. Very clean and comfy rooms. The beds are perfect, pillows great, and the sheets are the softest ever! Breakfast every morning was amazing. The grounds are beautiful, view of the lake gorgeous, and the lobby/common areas are well appointed. The staff is beyond accomedating and friendly. We could not of picked a better place to stay in Hot Springs.

Yelp
My husband and I took advantage of Lookout Point's offer for a free room for veterans on Veterans Day. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place (and not just because it was free!). When we checked in, Bruce gave us a printed list of restaurants in the area with Veterans Day discounts and other suggestions for more upscale places if we preferred. He gave us a tour of the whole complex including gardens and snack/coffee bar. There were bottles of local spring water in the rooms, and even buckets for popcorn. The "reception" in the afternoon was a table laid out with ice tea, wine and homemade spanokopita and AMAZING pumpkin bars with maple cream cheese frosting. When we heard "free use of canoe for guests", my love for Lookout Point was sealed. We paddled out onto gorgeous Lake Hamilton and watched the sunset and the cranes flying. There were hammocks on the shore for the less adventurous. After the canoe ride we sat in the den and played Scrabble from the big cabinet of boardgames, cards and puzzles. They really did think of everything. There was a library of books and DVDs, a wall of bay windows with binoculars and bird identification books on the table, throw blankets in cozy chairs, and even a basket full of binders with local to go menus. There was even a dictionary next to the Scrabble box! Our room itself was lovely. Big screen TV, artificial fireplace, soft bed, and huge Jacuzzi tub. Honestly I spent most of the night soaking in the tub. There was a little scented oil packet for the bath. In the morning there was self-serve coffee upstairs, or you could be waited on by Ray in the dining room. Ray was more like a new friend than a server, and we chatted with the other veteran couples and watched the sunrise over the lake. The food was delicious of course. Portions were small but I learned from Yelpers that you can ask for seconds! They had an awesome selection of high quality loose leaf teas. After breakfast we took the canoe out again, and Robin took a picture of us for the website and even told us we could keep the canoe out all day if we wanted to, even though we were already checked out. Every single employee shook our hands and introduced themselves, yet were very respectful of our autonomy. I seriously felt like I lived there. Almost broke my heart to leave! It was above and beyond the break I needed in my life right now. I am so honored and humbled that this extraordinary business extended their offer to us. Oh and I guess I should say also that Hot Springs is a real neat town. We brought 5 gallon bottles and collected some of the world famous spring water, and wished we had time to partake in the thermal baths in the historic bathhouses. Still had an amazing time hiking up to the observation tower and poking around all those lovely old buildings. I've met few with towns with as much soul as Hot Springs and I'm always happy to make the drive up there from Dallas.

Yelp
This is a very nice place. The complex and the rooms are, of course, very clean, very comfortable and very well furnished. The hospitality is warm, accommodating and inviting. The best part about the whole experience, however, is the breakfast. Sit outside on the patio, next to the fountain and enjoy some of the best breakfast you've ever had. Just remember, you can have 'seconds'...you just have to ask for them ;-) This is a great place for a relaxing weekend or a getaway of any kind. If you want a massage or you don't mind spending the day out on the lake, you'll be good to go. Other than those activities and your usual 'touristy' shopping in downtown Hot Springs, there isn't a whole heck-of-a-lot to do. At the same time, good restaurants seemed to be slim. One last piece of advice...if you want a massage while you are in town, we suggest you book it yourself and not through Lookout Point. If they book it, they will send you to a private massage place, located (literally) in someones house, in their den. It was kind of awkward. This place is worth the money for sure.

Yelp
This place was amazing. Gorgous view, helpful, friendly staff and nestled near the city yet off the beaten path. Rooms are small but cozy and the bed sheets are AMAZING. Only draw back was there isn't a thermostat in room (had to call and have adjusted) and thin walls allowed yapping from barking dog in next room. That said. I would definately recommend this place if ever in Hot Springs

Yelp
My husband and I went to Lookout Point for our 2nd Anniversary. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We included our dog in our weekend get a way, even he was treated like a king by staff and owners at Lookout Point. Cannot wait to visit again.

Yelp
This inn is wonderful. The staff was great, helpful in every way, even extended complementary wine as we checked in after happy hour. We stayed in the Evening Shade room, very nice. The room had its own air conditioner/heater,great since we like to sleep in cold room. The bed was so comfortable I asked inn keeper the brand. Delicious breakfast. The view was gorgeous. Sorry I didn't have time to lounge in the hammock by the lake. All this and we were able to have our dog with us. Definetly a five. Will be back.

Yelp
What can I say that would add to all the favorable reviews of this inn? It is beautiful, warm, comfortable, well-staffed (Wow - make that a double "Wow"), gracious, accommodating and inviting. The food is scrumptious, too. My wife and I spent 9 wonderful days here and would have enjoyed more. Thanks to everyone here for making my wife and me feel so welcomed, and for pampering us so thoroughly. I think I'm completely spoiled now.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at Lookout Point. This B&B was like stepping into a hideaway retreat. From the winding trail down to the Inn to the waterfall and terraced garden, our time was relaxing, cozy, and a step out of time.

Yelp
A small inn with all the comforts of home and 5 star amenities. The innkeepers were all excellent, it was a delight to stay there.

Yelp
This place was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful, made us feel right at home. Meals were delicious and the accommodations are wonderful. It was our first B&B experience and it was well worth the greater expense. Beautiful views! A good drive from downtown Hot Springs, but an easy commute without being right in the middle of everything.

Yelp
This place is fabulous. Just like the other reviews they really didn't miss anything in details...even have a separate make up towel in the bathroom for the ladies! Wonderful hospitality, food and scenery. We went in January where you couldn't be outdoors too much but we didn't even care it's that nice. Wine reception is a great idea. Snack area in our room and in the main lounge, movies to choose from, books...everything there...which we loved on our anniversary. I ordered roses for us as well and they were beautiful and the champagne they had in our room was delicious; not too dry not too sweet. It truly was a flawless stay. We stayed in the Hot Springs room and they have a great spa like bathroom that inspired us to finally move on our master bath remodel. Worth every penny.

Yelp
Exquisite attention to detail! This was our first stay here and my husband and I were celebrating our delayed 20th wedding anniversary in December. We were so impressed with everything even though it was in the dead of winter. The Inn was decorated so festively and Ray and Kristie emulated the most gracious hosts that we could ask for. The hearty gourmet breakfasts were delicious and the entire facility was spotless. They seem to think one step ahead of you in satisfying all of your needs. We will definitely return again.

Yelp
This is one of the most wonderful places that I have ever stayed at!! The place is beautiful and so relaxing!!! It is so clean and inviting!! We stayed in the Hot Springs room and it had a beautiful garden spa tub and shower! The only problem is you never want to leave! The food is wonderful! The staff and owners are the sweetest people I have ever encountered in the hospitality business. They treat you like royalty! I highly recommend this place to everyone we will visit this place often!! Thank you for doing such a great job!!

Yelp
This was our first trip to Hot Springs and we chose to stay at Lookout Point because it was highly rated on Yelp. We found the property and staff extremely nice. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and would do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. We thought the breakfast was good, but we spent four nights and had the same breakfast repeated on two of the mornings we were there. Room rates go up an additional $100 per night on weekends and the rooms are small so we felt it was not worth the price. When we do go back to Hot Springs we want to see what other places there are in town for $400 per night. I don't mind spending it, but I like to feel as if I'm getting my moneys worth. They do pay attention to detail but not every detail and at $400 a night they should. One night we ran out of toilet paper, which I feel should never happen as back up is to easy to have on hand. We stayed in Evening Shade two nights and it has a very small Jacuzzi tub. Not a good choice if you like taking a couples bath. We spent two nights in Pocahontas which had a larger tub and nice balcony but still small quarters. The property is beautifully landscaped and has a wonderful view of the lake and is off the beaten path.

Yelp
Where do I begin? Hubby and I stayed here for our five year wedding anniversary last year. We wanted some place that was relaxing and worth the money we were willing to spend. From our arrival to our departure, Lookout Point delivered first class service. We were greeted with wine in the great room, and we were helped in every way possible. The breakfast is fabulous, as are the bed sheets and coffee outside of the rooms in the morning. We stayed in the Velvet Ridge room where we were treated with a view of the lake and beautiful birds outside of our window. We also had an amazingly clean bathroom with a big enough whirlpool tub for two people. When we wanted to take a picnic to the national forest, the concierge/inn keeper packed us a picnic herself. When a couple we met was so nice to leave us a gift before they left, the inn keeper made sure to wrap it and leave it on our bed for our arrival back to the room. She even sent a thank you card for us. This place is quiet and relaxing, The food is superb, and the staff is out of this world. We will most definitely be back.

Yelp
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Lookout Point. It rained during our entire stay in Hot Springs, but the fact that we had a good B&B to relax at made up for it. The innkeepers were really sweet and they REALLY know how to cook. Soon after our arrival, there was an "Innkeepers Reception" with complimentary appetizers, dessert, wine, and tea. They also have a snack bar that you can raid at any time during your stay. And the breakfast... absolutely amazing. We can't wait to come back someday during the summer and enjoy their beautiful garden and the canoe on the lake.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about this place. Even though it was our first time visiting Hot Springs, we didn't find the need to leave the room much since we found this place so enjoyable. We stayed in the "Hot Springs" suite and Im glad we did. It was very large, and we spend a lot of time in the air massage tub and by the fireplace. All of the staff including the owners really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Not only do they remember your names, they also remember your food restrictions and preferences. The food was great, and I love that it is not just a standard hotel breakfast buffet. It is a different menu every day, and they serve you. The fact that the owners were there serving coffee and picking up plates, just goes to show how much they enjoy doing this. They put out wine and appetizers every late afternoon, and its nice to sit around and meet other people staying there. I really recommend staying here. While the suite we stayed in was a bit pricey, they have rooms to accommodate all budgets. But if you are looking to feel like you are in a 5 star resort and splurge a bit, I would really recommend getting the suite. We will definitely be back!
