The food was delicious and the atmosphere was incredible. They had the cutest little family if kittens hanging out.

Chill music; chill atmosphere; ample portion-size and great coffee. Price for value is superb.

What a gem of a place! Open, airy and surrounded by plants, we visited twice for breakfast during our first time visit to Zihuatanejo. Food was good,server was friendly and helpful. The Americano coffee was outstanding; hot fresh and strong like it should be; and liked it so much we bought a pound of beans to take home. Avocado toast and breakfast sandwich also really good. As a suggestion though, fried potatoes instead of salad greens would be nice on the side especially during breakfast hours.

Aesthetic Vibes of a Tropical Zen Temple.🌴 Place is absolute amazing and the local architect thought of every detail from the fans, outlets, artwork, and amazing bathroom sinks. Love, love, love this place! If you’re looking to co-work near the beach, this is the place. Variety of seating options inside, and out with strong WiFi and charging outlets. Coffee was aromatic and favorable. Staff were attentive and very happy to serve.

We tried to eat here for breakfast on Monday, Google page says OPEN at 8:30, waited 20 minutes and they never opened. Really bummed, wanted to try this place. Maybe they will update their hours because of my review?

Nothing too Special. The Food was ok. After 11am the terrace is pretty hot to ist there.

Unexpectedly stumbled upon this restaurant and it was great. I was surprised that on a Friday night at 8pm the place was empty. We were the only people there. Such a beautiful and clean space. The design and detail here is amazing. The building is 3 floors. The food was delicious. We tried the chicken sandwich and the burger. Both made to order and very fresh. The fries are delicious as well. I had the home sweet home mocktail. It was.....different. The maple syrup is VERY strong. I told my boyfriend it was like drinking strawberry french toast. Service was amazing. Their English is very good. They accept both cards and cash. I paid with card and was able to leave a tip this way too. $535 pesos + tip Note: This isn't quick food. Be prepared to wait at least 20 mins. Update: came back for breakfast. 3/5 stars. Service was good but it took forever. Again, the only two people here. Didn't love it this time. The pancake was ok but it was so so thick. I had to drink so much water and only could eat half the entree. Pricey. Skip this place for breakfast and come for dinner instead.

GO HERE!!!! Yes YOUUUUU, read the rest of this at the restaurant! Ok now that you are sitting comfortably at one of the outdoor patios, or walking around admiring the art. First, you're welcome and second ...isn't this one of the coolest locations in Zihuatanejo? I was lucky in the fact that I was staying fairly close by, if you aren't near don't worry take the "Playa La Ropa" van/taxi to this location (the driver will know where to go). The ambiance here is an absolute 5/5, they have these amazing art installations throughout the restaurant along with these beautiful plants draped over the wooden beams and all over. It makes the place feel organic, alive in the literal sense. The interior is very modern, with concrete floors and this wooden bathroom sink that goes across every faucet, the place is just cool for the sake of being cool in the best way possible. I enjoyed the food so much, I came back twice! First for dinner, I was burned out on tacos and frijoles so this was a saving grace. A traditional burger and fries, and a well crafted cocktail was the reset I needed. I got the Vaca Loca burger and it was delicious, hand packed ground beef with bacon, tomato, pickles and melty cheddar cheese! The Home Sweet Home cocktail was also a winner, a little too sugary for me, but it was all in the name. Lastly the service was exceptional, the entire staff was welcoming and attentive. Even for breakfast, it was a different crew but same experience. Pro Tip: The pancakes are thiccccccc so if you don't like that incredibly dense floury taste and texture...just skip them altogether. My omelette was outstanding and the menu has other great options.

We walked here from the Thompson hotel, a very quality coffee house. Excellent cortado and espresso. Service is good and a very hip and modern vibe.

Excellent breakfast! Awesome coffee. Slower service but it's definitely worth the wait and the service is very sweet. The green sauce chilaquiles is a must. The chia seed fruit bowl is amazing with fresh delicious fruits. Going back for more tomorrow!

Great creative and hipster place. The coffee is spectacular. The vibe is very Venice Beach CA. I loved the patio with the fan blowing in a very shady canopy, it was a welcomed respite from the equatorial heat. We sat around and ordered some breakfast. I got the quinoa bowl with two poached eggs. It was very fresh and great veggie protein. We also got the ricotta toast to share which was slightly sweet with honey and pina. Stephanie got the dumplings which were wonderful my in-laws ordered the heavy and decadent "madame" and a very boring breakfast sandwhich. There's tons of great restaurants in zihua and this is a great addition if you want a bit of that hipster cuisine.

Totally loved this place! Very cool vibe inside, great food and I was able to find some local beers. Prices were spot on and the staff was amazing! I'll be back!

The space is absolutely gorgeous! If you can stand to be away from the ocean for the duration of a meal, the ambiance inside this beautiful, stylish building can't be beat. The food comes from a food truck and it is good. We were there for breakfast. The hot chocolate was good enough that my daughter ordered a second cup and my wife also had a second cappuccino. The chilaquiles verdes were a little bit tart for my taste, and they were also quite soupy with cubes of cheese that were more reminiscent of tofu than anything else. I had the tortilla de pan because it sounded unique and intriguing, but when the dish came out, I realized that it had neither a tortilla nor any bread - it was, in fact, what I refer to as a Spanish omelette. It was fine, I just wish that it had been appropriately named and not so confusing on the menu. My daughter got the avocado toast, which was the best of the bunch. The bread that they use for the toast seemed to be thick cut, artisanal sourdough and there were heaping mounds of avocado. On top of it with a fried egg and salsa roja. I would actually order that dish again.

Not sure if I already left a review a while back, however this place is worth writing a review every time. Th coolest space in Zihua, the most attentive food, trends, and more. If you come to Zihua often, you will notice how the space constantly changes, the Art, the stuff, the DJ parties, just modern and refreshing. Very high quality food and anything else, not to mention the best cappuccino west of Italy. A must stop when in zihua, for any occasion, coffee, drink, lunch or dinner. Outstanding!

We had brunch at Loot. The coffee and Mexican chocolate milk were great. Our food was good but not as good as we expected. Service was very good since we were visiting during low season so the restaurant was quiet. Our server was very attentive and told us all about Zihua. We came with kids and sat on the patio which was very nice. The space is very modern with a high end gift shop, art gallery and private bar upstairs. The design of the space is very high end but also relaxed. We would like to come back for happy hour

I think we come here everyday we are in town for a latte???? Super cool atmosphere w/ great music! The BEST iced chai tea latte I've ever had! Great lunch time spot. Would recommend the club sandwich w/ fries plus any coffee drink really

We tried "Loot" last night as it came up as a nice bar in Zihuatanejo. Well, it was so much more than a bar, in fact, one of the most wonderful dining experiences we have ever had as a family! Great seafood, apps and dinner, and wonderful deserts. Wine was awesome, and the service was tremendous! But also go there for the ambiance, as the dining room is one of the most magical rooms you will ever dine in! It felt like we were in Bali or Thailand. So beautiful and well decorated! It felt like we were a million miles from reality! What a great place... a must see in Zihuatanejo!

Highlight of our trip. We stayed at the Thompson over the winter holiday and went to Loot as often as we could. The food and price point was the best of the trip. Loot had recently updated its menu. We had green juices every morning and tried many of the items on the menu of over the course of the trip. The fish tacos were fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent. And the space was modern with a cool surf vibe. Loved this place. This is a must visit for anyone visiting.

Delicious food and good drinks. Walked in and tried the Guava Punch, which was great. We ordered a salad (can't remember what it's called) full of cilantro and melon, which was full of fresh flavor. We also had the fried chicken which was basically crack. It is so good.

Whenever I'm in Zihua, I have to get coffee here. It's sooo good! Also a great place for a cocktail, they take a bit of time to create but worth waiting for. Plus the space, all the levels, are beautifully designed.

Just had another amazing experience at Loot! I am in love with this place! Amazing people. Amazing food. But the best is the staff. They make you feel like you are the only people on the planet. Cannot wait to go back tomorrow for salsa dancing! If you come to Zihua make sure you stop here for dinner or breakfast! It's perfect!! Thank you Sesa. (Not sure how to spell it) Love. Love. Love!!!

A great place, breakfast, lunch or dinner! We've spent two weeks in Zihuatanejo, and visited Loot several times. Coffee is the best around indeed, but also is the dinner menu. Try Escamoles for something new, or anything else for a nice surprise!

We came for drinks...what a cool place. Must say that they need to update Yelp...they are not only a lounge, but a nice restaurant. Wish we would have discovered it earlier.

Tried to go for dinner tonight. Loot is now only serving drinks and appetizers. Waiter vague about whether dinner service would ever resume.

You absolutely cannot beat the ambiance. Such a great place. Delicious short ribs, crusted lamb, burger....and don't get me started with the great cocktail menu. Wonderful liquor selection. Service was attentive. I have a feeling we will be dining here several nights during our one week stay.

For the interior, design and overall atmosphere, I would give Loot 5 stars. Very cool layout and design. For the food, 3 1/2 stars. Great presentation but tries to be a little too exotic. Wish the food had a bit more passion for taste rather than style. Overall, we enjoyed the service and experience. Would recommend trying the place out. It is also a great place just for drinks.

Modern design with elements of classic mexicana! So well done. Iced mocha was so delicious. Really beautiful espresso machine! Very friendly, informative, personable staff. I walked out of Loot with a bag of loot. I found their products to be very fairly priced. These guys are providing a uniques product and boutique experience, unique for the area. If you're looking for cheap trinkets, go to the mercado. If you're looking for current surf/lifestyle goods hit up Loot X

Walked from villa del sol, what a great surprise tucked away behind the trees. Hung out and enjoyed the art. Delicious coffee. Relaxing music. Great food.

Went to loot for music and a nightcap. Cool space in unexpected place. Artwork and other hipster things for sale in a place more linked to highly trafficked cruise ship area than a small windy street outside of main area of Zihua.

Loot is the place to go if you are in Zihua. Great coffee, the music is excellent, and the place is a modern artistic space- which isn't very common here. Hipster and modern, nicely located next to the beach, and the food is also very well prepared. A great place to hang out with friends.
