Our stay at this hotel was absolutely exceptional – a true paradise! From the very first moment we felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, excellent cleanliness, and attention to every detail made it easy to fully relax and unwind. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling – you can truly feel the passion they put into their work. The atmosphere of this place is simply indescribable – peaceful, harmonious, and full of positive energy. We will definitely come back, and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone dreaming of a perfect getaway. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We recently stayed at Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino in Punta Cana, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet 4.5 star expectations. While the property itself is visually beautiful and the beach is lovely, the service and maintenance were significant letdowns. Our toilet would not flush, requiring us to use a bucket of water from the shower. The shower only produced cold water throughout the entire stay. Housekeeping was inconsistent — we would leave the room at 8 a.m. and it often wasn’t serviced until 4 or 5 p.m. Obtaining towels or robes was surprisingly difficult. Poolside service was virtually nonexistent. Despite spending significant time at the pool, we received only one drink delivered all week. There is no swim-up bar, so guests must exit the pool each time they want a beverage. Additionally, pool chairs are “reserved” with towels as early as 7 a.m., making it difficult to find seating unless you wake up early. Perhaps most frustrating was that when we raised these concerns with guest services midway through our stay, we were told nothing could be done because they were busy. Lastly, many items one might expect to be included in an all-inclusive five-star resort — such as bowling, specialty wine offerings, cigars, and even fresh coconuts — required additional fees. Overall, while the grounds and beach are beautiful, the level of service and amenities felt closer to a three-star experience than a five-star one.

We had an amazing time at Lopesan Costa Bávaro! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and the staff truly made our stay special ( shoutout to our butler Andreas). Everyone was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. We traveled with our two children (16 months and 4 years old), and the resort was very family-friendly. The staff was incredibly kind and patient with our kids, which made the experience even more enjoyable and stress-free for us as parents. The food was excellent with plenty of variety and high-quality options at every meal. Whether at the buffet or the restaurants, everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Tepanyaki was such a fun time! We also opted for the Unique upgrade, and it was absolutely worth it. The butler service added an extra level of ease and luxury to our stay, and access to the Unique restaurant and bar was a great perk with exceptional service and atmosphere. The resort itself is stunning, well-maintained, and relaxing, making it easy to fully enjoy the vacation. Overall, the combination of incredible service, wonderful staff, and amazing food made this a memorable stay. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this resort to families and couples alike.

His kindness, warmth, and genuine friendliness stood out immediately, and it never felt forced or like he was “just doing his job.” He made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and taken care of in a way that is rare to find. He went above and beyond in every interaction — always taking the time to check in on us, making sure we were enjoying ourselves, and offering thoughtful advice that honestly made our trip so much better. Every recommendation he gave us, whether it was about the resort, activities, food, or places to explore, was spot-on. You could tell he truly cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. What really stood out most was how approachable and positive he was. He always greeted us with a smile, great energy, and genuine conversation that made us feel like more than just guests — it felt personal, like we were being looked after by a friend. His knowledge, patience, and willingness to help with anything we needed made such a difference and took so much stress out of our trip. Because of him, our stay felt more special, more relaxed, and more memorable. Employees like fighter & Pokémon are the reason people return to resorts and recommend them to others. He is an absolute asset to this resort, and we cannot thank him enough for everything he did for us. We truly appreciate him and hope management knows how incredible he is. He made our vacation what it was, and we are so grateful for his kindness, advice, and outstanding service.

Jose Rivera was the best. He made sure that we felt very comfortable and safe. He even showed us how to go to other restaurants and recommended what we should eat. I love the Lopesan because of José Rivera. Please give him a lot of raises because he deserves the best.

What a fantastic hotel this is! The range of restaurants and bars is unrivalled and each is designed to perfection. The quality of the food and drinks is well above most hotels and the staff are so kind. The location and the grounds are so well kept and maintained. I just have 2 gripes - firstly the pool activities are the loudest and longest I have ever experienced - when you want a relaxing holiday in the sun the racket is horrible - there is a small % of holiday makers who love such disturbance but the majoritym like me, hate it, And secondly the bar staff could be advised to wash their hand after using the toilets! I highly recommend this hotel as it is just wonderful

Amazing trip with my wife and two kids. The resort/food/adult entertainment/beach were all fantastic. We strongly recommend! Our only disappointment was the kids club. It's always empty and the staff do not do activities if not enough kids. Our children did not spend much time there as they found it boring. At night, they put a movie... only one show for kids all week. If you do not care about the kids club, then your family will enjoy. The water park, beach and pools are LOTS of fun for the entire family.

I had an incredible stay at the hotel in Lópezan, and a huge part of that was thanks to Pokémon from the animation team. He is truly the best! Always full of energy, fun, and positivity, he made every activity enjoyable and made all the guests feel welcome. Pokémon is professional, friendly, and genuinely cares about making people smile. Thanks to him, the atmosphere at the hotel was lively and unforgettable. He really made my holiday special, and I will always remember the great moments he created.
