Very historic look and feel inside but modern and clean at the same time. All of the various counter staff was great throughout our stay... very friendly and helpful. Their parking lot is 2 blocks away but it's a nice walk when the weather is cooperative. The hotel will park and retrieve your car if you ask them. We opted for a King Fireplace room with a balcony overlooking Main Street on the front of the hotel. It can be a bit noisy, but not terrible. All of the best places in Camden to do anything are within walking distance, with 3-4 great places to eat right out the front or back doors. The room and bathroom were very clean and nice. The continental breakfast room is on the second floor and has a good breakfast selection and a fair amount of seating... again staff is great there if you need them for anything. Since nothing can be perfect, the freezer in our mini-fridge was simulating an iceberg and badly needed a defrost. Overall, we had a great trip for our 10th Anniversary and Lord Camden Inn was a big part of that success. They will be our first choice for any future trips.

Lovely stay at the Lord Camden Inn. It was our wedding anniversary and the staff were very thoughtful. Great location in the center of town and easy walking to everything. Parking and check in easy too. It's a little olde worlde inside but that's Maine charm. We had a great balcony overlooking the harbor which was well worth the extra. Buffet breakfast was very good with lots of choice and fabulous pistachio bread! Seemed to be lots of returning guests which is a good sign.

Google
Historic property, so some accomodation must be expected. Finishout of the common areas and room were nice. The service was friendly and very good. Parking is a bit odd, but the staff will "valet" your car if asked. Meaning they will drive it down the street to their off site lot. Camden is charming, and this hotel is right in the middle of the downtown area of shops. Complimentary breakfast buffet was basic, but good. Wifi was spotty. Beds, linens and bathroom was very good. Airconditioner was vigorous and a bit loud, but appreciated. There is an elevator to all floors. All in all, a good experience and we wouldn't look for another alternative.

This charming Inn located on the main street in Camden is convenient to everything the Maine coast has to offer. With easy walking to the waterfront, great stores and a large park-like grassy area overlooking the harbor, it's impossible not to like the town. The Lord Camden Inn rooms are comfortable, clean, well decorated and have some marvelous views. The Inn's breakfast buffet each morning has a full serving of whatever you need to get your day in the charming town started. The Inn really is a quiet oasis and a wonderful place to spend some time.

Staying at the Lord Camden is like staying in someone's home, but with more style and a better breakfast. The rooms are clean, spacious (with ample storage), and have individual personalities. You get the sense that this once was a family home, though I have no idea whether that is true. The sheets are the softest I have experienced in a hotel, and the towels are so nice that I ordered two sets once I got home. The included breakfast is extensive, similar to the buffet in a nice chain hotel, but the food is much better prepared and fresher. The location is right in the town center, and I could see over the harbour from my balcony - I even had a brief glimpse of a sunrise before clouds rolled in. Despite overlooking the main street, there is no discernible street noise. Staff were great - friendly and helpful. I plan to return.

We stayed at the Lord Camden Inn for our honeymoon. The location in Camden was amazing. Right in the heart of everything, visitors to could walk to food, shops, and the water in less than one minute. The room was cozy while being very nice and we enjoyed the balcony overlooking the harbor. Every employee was very friendly and amazing to interact with. Highly recommend staying at the Inn if visiting Camden

Google
Awesome long weekend stay with my family of 5. Able to get connecting rooms that were huge, comfortable and had outdoor space. Having the mini kitchenette was so helpful for keeping some basics for the kids. Breakfast was a huge hit every day and the staff could not have been more accommodating!

Google
Cute little place right on the main strip. Walkable to shopping, restaurants, boat docks. The rooms had thin walls, so you could hear others above. The bathroom vanity is tiny but nice that it’s outside of the shower area. The breakfast was by far the best we’ve had our entire week long road trip across Maine.

Yelp
We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect--everything is within walking distance. Although older, the hotel has a cozy, homey feel. We enjoyed our harborview room. It was fun to watch the harbor, Mt. Battie, and the street activity from our window. The staff is very kind and attentive, and parking was pretty easy once they explained it. The warm breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of options...including a fun blueberry coffee.

Yelp
If you want a great location, you can't beat this place. We could walk everywhere and could see a bit of water from our balcony. Check in was a bit chaotic as you have to go to the back of the building where there are 2 spots you can temporarily park, but the ice cream store next door was busy and cars were everywhere. After you check in, you move your car up the street to a private lot. The Inn is old but has lots of character. Our room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The shower had a great shower head, but the tub was a bit slippery. My biggest complaint is the A/C unit. It ran so loud, and wasn't really spewing out cold air. I slept horribly as the sound is crazy loud. Super disappointing for what we paid for the room. Breakfast was a typical breakfast served in hotels.

Yelp
We stayed one night Snowbowl weekend. Hotel is in a great location, Denise was helpful in recommending places for take out. Although we ended up at Jack's, which was good, but not on her list. If we didn't have our dog (great that they allow dogs but you can't leave them in the room alone) we would have have eaten there.... It was lively.Breakfast was abudent - something for everyone. Heather did a terrific job. My only negative remark is the coffee could have been hotter and stronger. I would return the rooms are clean and the bathroom floors have radiate heat!

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is right in the heart of town so it made it easy to walk to local shops, restaurants and breweries. The decor felt like quintessential Maine. The staff is extremely friendly. Plus we loved the 'extras' offered during our stay - complimentary Prosecco at a sister hotel down the road, complimentary breakfast, flavored water, and homemade chocolate chip cookies (our favorite).

Lorie L.

Yelp
We have stayed at LCI several times and have never been disappointed They are extremely pet friendly and the staff always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcomed Very comfortable rooms and great location

Yelp
Lord Camden Inn is one of three hotels (in the Bay View Group. Camden Harbour Hotel and 16 Bay View) and in my opinion, is the best value of the three. The first Photo was taken from our balcony which faced the street. It was enjoyable to sit on our balcony with our included breakfast (bagged and delivered to our room due to covid) and people watch on the street below with this pretty partial ocean view. We paid just over $200 for a Saturday night, compared to rooms at the other hotels going for $100 - $300 more. The 3 minute stroll to the waterfront and restaurants is why you go to Camden. Even if you don't decide to stay here, you should check it out.

Treena M.

Yelp
Hotel was nice - staff was courteous and helpful. The room was nice and had a nice sitting area with a fireplace. Only con: it was hot when we visited and the ac is in the area with the fireplace so it was stuffy while we slept. It was in a convenient location and the beds were nice and comfy. Would return if we returned to Camden.

Mark J.

Yelp
Another great experience at the Lord Camden Inn in the heart of Camden. Spotless rooms, accommodating staff, very good breakfast included. Great harbor views from third and fourth floors with frontage on US Route 1, or choose a village view on the back of the hotel for a quieter room without the 5 am sunrise.

Yelp
Six stars. STAFF. The staff are so annoyingly nice, they make Ned Flanders and golden retrievers look like jerks. LOCATION. It's not right on the water, but close enough. The location is in the heart of Camden, yet quiet, with large private balconies overlooking the main street to the east and smokestack and rushing brook to the west. Lots of restaurants and bars a very short walk away including Marriner's, Waterfront, Peter Ott's, and Francine's. (See my reviews for Cuzzy's, Vintage Room, Boynton, 40 Paper, and Smokestack) PARKING. A free overnight parking lot (key card required that you must pick up and return at lobby) a few hundred feet away, plus a two hour lot across the street. LOBBY. Very homey w fireplace, with free cookies or fruit, coffees, teas, water, hot chocolate and (not as tasty) newspapers. ROOMS. Attractive rooms, super comfortable beds, huge balconies, great amenities (microwave, quiet fridge, Keurig), and they included a very useful channel guide for the flatscreen. BREAKFAST. Couldn't be better, despite a lack of donuts or danishes. Attractive, uncramped dining room separated from lobby. Made to order waffles, with various syrups and toppings, scrambled eggs, quiche, sausage, bacon, toast, bagels, granola, cereal, milk, yogurt, plus four types of juices, and four types of coffee. I took four types of poops. WORKOUT ROOM. Clamdigger please.

Hilary L.

Yelp
Great location! Friendly and attentive staff. We had an issue with the air conditioner and a staff member was in the room in less than 5-minutes. The included breakfast was great. Nice rooms, comfortable bedding, great water pressure in the shower. I would happily stay there again.

Yelp
Nice and relaxing place! This is an old building transformed into a hotel. I love the location and we had a beautiful room with a step-up sitting room, with a fireplace and our own belcony overlooking the river. We really enjoyed ourselves. Now one of the neat things was that we stayed on the third floor and some people claim, the 3rd floor is haunted :)...well, we never saw or heard anything, but it was a neat story to tell our kids! Their breakfast is served on the 2nd floor and we stopped by, but we had to leave, so we didn't get a chance to check that out. The front desk were very nice and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean and I love the products they chose for the bathroom and shower needs, very clean and light feeling, unfortunately I'm drawing a blank on the product name, but I did see it mentioned in another persons review. And, they are dog friendly here as well. Definitely a place we would stay at again!

Yelp
This is a wonderful hotel, bed and breakfast, boutique type hotel located right downtown. Walking distance to everythAng. We had a room on the river-side, and it was very quiet. Really, really nice. They do good attention to details here. The towels are really nice. I am told that the river rooms are substantially quieter than the street rooms. In the summer-time; I am inclined to believe that. The Goods: Super pet friendly. They treated my dog like royalty. All of the Staff were exceptional. Extremely helpful, friendly, and personable. In particular: Ms. Samara checked us in and went above and beyond. Was super nice across the board. The Bad: There is only one bad, and that is why this place gets a 4-star rating vice 5-star. The TVs in the room were ancient pieces of history. Not High Definition. They were pretty small too. HDTVs are so frickin' cheap right now. And this hotel is not cheap. For the buck per night, they can do better. ***Next off-season my recommendation: book the existing TVs you've got; and spend a couple grand (that's about what it would cost for the whole building / all the rooms, best guess) and get some nice HDTVs. I think guests would be much happier.

Yelp
We stay at the Lord Camden Inn every time we are here because it never disappoints and is the most beautiful place to stay in Camden, right on the street. Best part might be the complimentary breakfast...delicious and all you can eat. The rooms? Clean and stunning. Beautiful bed linens and everything you could want in a place to stay. We love it here!
google avatar

Danielle W.

Yelp
Stunning hotel and attentive staff! We've been staying at a lot of hotels and inns this vacation throughout Maine and Canada, and this by far was our favorite. Camden is a beautiful little town and the Lord Camden is the perfect home base to explore.

Brian W.

Yelp
It's decent. Some rooms have nice views of the Harbor and it's not TOTALLY overpriced. But they charge for parking. Not only that but their lot is down the street. Don't tell anyone, but unless it's the dead of winter you can park overnight on the street in Camden right in front of the hotel. Ssh... Charging for hotel parking in Camden is ridiculous.
google avatar

G M.

Yelp
The rooms are nice, a slight smell to them but I guess it is to be expected considering the number of dogs at the hotel. But overall the room and the location is good given the winter time rate. My issue is being blindsided with a $15 parking charge due at check-in. To make matters worse the clerk at the front desk argued profusely with me that it was stated on the booking website there was a parking charge. I went back to the booking website and there was no mention of a parking fee. On their website it mentioned free parking. $15 for parking... what is this Boston? It's Camden, and there is no snow on the roads. Loose the unnecessary fees. I suppose it fits their overall motives - they will try to sell you Lord Camden branded mugs and other kick-knacks as well. Keep it classy Camden.

Daniel S.

Yelp
Friendly staff, great location and reasonable rate. The rooms are large and clean. Highly recommend.

Claudette N.

Yelp
Older inn that needs TLC to the rooms. Very comfortable beds. Friendly staff who are responsive to issues...sink plug was disconnected and didn't work. Bathroom needs up dating and balcony furniture should be replaced. Still operating under Covid so rooms are not made up daily. Leave towels and list needs on card outside room. Breakfast is pre wrapped or packaged. Eggs, sausage, cheese on croissant each morning. Good to have refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in room. Great location, central to everything in Camden. Parking system needs refinement...key required to park in lot up the street, then key must be returned to hotel after parking.

William D.

Yelp
Perfectly good stay for 3 nights in early October. Quiet, clean, fairly priced, convenient and the staff seemed to take Covid precautions seriously. Grab and go breakfast each morning was an added bonus. Grab and Go breakfast was a Covid precaution. You ordered breakfast the night before and your breakfast was packed up and ready at the requested time in the morning. They also handled my gluten allergy. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

Yelp
We came to visit a client in Camden, ME and found most of the area hotels full. No worries. Fellow helpers steered me to this establishment, where the room was spotless, staff very friendly, and the king bed was very comfortable. We walked across the street for a beautiful evening overlooking the Bay. Walked to dinner, but that is another review. Stay at the Lord Camden Inn! You will be happy you did.

Ken M.

Yelp
4/12/19 stayed on 4th floor overlooking The Harbor and town. Great views! Room very comfortable and clean. Housekeeper friendly and left Bedtime chocolates. Front desk also friendly and competent check in and checkout. Excellent breakfast including the coffee. Parking was short walk, but no extra charge. Convenient to shopping and waterfront restaurants.

Yelp
Lord Camden Inn is a great and very affordable hotel for downtown Camden in the summer. We have stayed here numerous times and it never disappoints. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Quite a lovely place! Desk person Tanner gave us phenomenal customer service! We loved the hotel, great view from our room, right on the Main Street so we could go right out for shopping, restaurants, etc. we had brought bicycles with us and there was no problem leaving them (locked) on our bike rack in the parking lot up the street. Highly recommend this hotel - even tho a bit pricey it worked for us!
google avatar

Matthew B.

Yelp
We were off-season guests so the price for a single King was great. The woman at reception was courteous, the room was clean and well appointed, and the decor was lovely (very limited tacky, generic hotel stuff). Breakfast was ample and hot. Overall quite charming for an overnight and it's directly on Main Street so moving around was easy.

Yelp
This is a great place to stay in Camden. It's clean some updated rooms like brand spanning new and they are extremely accommodating. The staff is terrific. They are pet friendly so if you have allergies be careful. I booked a room looking over water but changed it based in a musty smell coming from the bricks on one wall. My new room had no view but was excellent. It had a fireplace new beautiful bath. It was excellent. Great bed amenities. Coffee maker mini fridge etc. so clean. Loved it. Great location right downtown Camden.

Jane S.

Yelp
Charming place. Great service, perfect location, clean, very comfortable beds...softest sheets ever. We will definitely return.

Daniel R.

Yelp
A great weekend getaway! Super easy, welcoming and friendly check-in, delicious refreshments and cookies upon arrival. Room clean, welcoming, and spacious! Lovely fireplace (and a balcony with a view if you're lucky!) A fantastic breakfast is included, and the bed couldn't be more comfortable! Enjoy!

E P.

Yelp
Lovely hotel. Great location in the center of town. The rooms were very nice. Check in was friendly and breakfast was delicious.

Yelp
We came with a Groupon deal for a 2-night stay and loved it. It was especially nice that our dog was able to join us, too! This was a first and she did well and we had no problem leaving her for short periods of time for our meals out. Though they didn't set us up with the pet amenities, we made do and didn't bother making a fuss of it. We stayed in a River View room and it was clean and stocked with nice amenities (Keurig, balcony, a 32" flat screen tv). We were frustrated with the lack of convenient electrical outlets for our phones but again, made do. Being that it was 20 degrees outside, we did not take advantage of the balcony and the view of the river felt more like a large stream. The heat is not central but a window unit which made temperature regulation and sound a bit annoying but just a minor detail (in case you find that helpful). The bed was comfortable and I loved the sheets/comforter - felt so luxurious! I do wish the room size was bigger, especially since it limited the space for our pup so keep that in mind if you're bringing yours along! Staff were friendly and I loved the cookies/coffee reception in the afternoon/evening. Breakfast was a little underwhelming though I agree with everyone that the homemade granola was tasty. Eggs are made to order and they have a waffle maker. I guess I was hoping for some type of protein in the morning... Despite going in March, the town of Camden was still welcoming, though empty. LCI is located conveniently in the center of town and everything was accessible by foot. Thanks for such a great stay!

Yelp
We had a wonderful room overlooking the ocean. The Inn just had everything we needed or wanted! Super dog friendly, nicely appointed rooms with sufficient space, in-room fridge, coffee and balcony, great breakfast etc. Cant beat the location too!

Yelp
This is a very nice hotel and is located right above the shops giving you plenty to do. the young staff were very very nice. Gavin, Zak, and another young girl who i can't remember the name of were always checking up on us, asking us about our day, giving us suggestions on where to go, offered valet parking and to take our bags to and from the room. They were honestly the nicest hotel staff i've ever met in my entire life (and i stay at hotels quite often). I stayed here for 5 days and they were very accommodating. the one girl i mentioned earlier unlocked the breakfast room for us so me and the 8 other people i was with could use the tables to play cards. There are also beautiful views from the balcony. The hotel definitely made my trip to camden a great experience :-)

Michael M.

Yelp
Stayed 2 nights with spouse at this lovely little hotel. The hotel is very nicely located in downtown Camden , Me. We had a partial harbor view on the 3rd floor, very nice, very clean and functional with a comfortable bed. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with pasties, muffins, breakfast meats and eggs. The staff was friendly, professional, and competent. Denise, who checked us in , always helpful and so informative when answering our questions about the local area, Chelsea, who worked the front desk on day 2 of our stay and again when checking out was so cheerful, polite and ever so helpful with our baggage. In summation, next time up that way, The Lord Camden Inn is where we will stay.

Yelp
On a whim, my wife and I decided to hop in the car and head up the Maine coast on Labor Day weekend -- with the dog. We took our chances with lodging, knowing that it was a busy travel weekend and most places aren't terribly pet friendly. When we drove into Camden, we spotted the Lord Camden Inn right away. I doubted that they accepted pets, but we decided to check it out anyway. Boy, were we surprised! The young man at the front desk was very friendly, and immediately informed us of two available lodging options, both of which were dog friendly. We were able to check in right away, and found the room to be clean, updated, and inviting. We had a small balcony overlooking the main street, which proved to be the only real drawback of a room on the front of the hotel -- the weather was balmy, and we had hoped to leave our sliding door open through the night, but the street noise (loud voices leaving the bars for the evening, large trucks rumbling through town) proved to be too much. We were happy to have (good) coffee in our room, and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which included homemade granola. Had we required dining recommendations, I have no doubt that the front desk attendant could have provided some. Overall, this was a great experience. The town of Camden appears to be very dog-friendly, which is a huge plus in my mind. The only drawback was the price, which wasn't excessive for a king room with partial water view on Labor Day weekend in a tourist town, but was still a bit more than we expected to pay at the last minute.

Yelp
This place was really nice, staff was nice. My room was gorgeous, I loved the fireplace in the room, the bed was comfortable. I shall return next time I'm in the area. Great weekend. Next time I'm bringing my dog!!!!

Yelp
I'm still a fan, in spite of some imperfections. We've come here many times over the years, because their pooch friendly policy allows us to stay with our dog. The service is always very accommodating, but their attention to room details suffers on occasion. This isn't the first time we've endured a slow draining sink in the bathroom, which was disappointing. And please, put brighter light bulbs in the lamps. Next time, we might try one of their newer Camden hotels, also pet friendly.

De A.

Yelp
Our first stay was 2/4/16-2/7/16, it was FABULOUS! A quaint little hotel with the class, cleanliness, and customer service of a large corporate hotel. The front desk staff were nothing but accommodating. Because this is a pet friendly hotel and I am severely allergic to cats and dogs I specifically requested to have a room that no pets were in previously. They definitely listened and gave us a room that wasn't pet friendly. The beds were sooo comfortable, more than other hotels even Marriott. One thing I would suggest is better communication between the breakfast staff and front desk. We are late risers and were told breakfast went until 10. When we walked in at 9:30 the breakfast staff was not happy. Had we known, we would have gone earlier. The door says they are open until 9:30 but the front desk said 10. Overall, a wonderful stay! We will be back!

Yelp
So last week was my 3 year wedding anniversary and my birthday... my husband and I wanted to road trip trough coastal Maine and do some leaf peeping! On our journey we stopped in Camden, Me... very quaint harbor town. We booked a night at the lord camden inn was very happy we did! The room was beautiful! we had a little stream right outside our window that was surrounded by a white picket fence! It was picture perfect! The bed was so comfy.. it was the first time i didn't miss my own bed. Our stay included breakfast that was great... homemade scones, waffles, eggs, cereal, juices, and flavored coffees. The location was great too, it was right in the middle of town on "main" street in maine on the costal highway. If you're ever in the area you must make a stop and rest up and the lord camden inn.

Yelp
Stayed here while we were in town to visit family that live in a somewhat cramped 200-year-old farm house and WOW was that a good decision! Our top floor room had a balcony overlooking the harbor, a fantastically comfy bed, access to free WiFi (! especially helpful since Sprint apparently doesn't cover most of Maine!), and Green Mountain coffee in the rooms! It really was the small touches that made this Inn stand up favorably to the two hotels we'd stayed in in Boston and the lovely BnB in Portland, ME. The fact that the inroom coffee maker came with teas, coffee, good decaf and even a Chai Latte mix, that they provide really wonderful soaps and even a dark towel labeled "make up" so you don't have to wipe foundation all over the nice white linens, that there were qtips in the room (i know, it's quirky, but that matters to me)...all of those little things really add up to a great experience. The breakfast the next morning was surprisingly good. They had eggs, bacon, breads, cereals, a selection of locally owned coffees, juice, a waffle maker and fruit. Plus some granola bars and yogurt that we grabbed for snacks for later in the day. Lovely! There was a kerfufle when we checked out because we weren't getting the booked-online rate we were quoted, but the front desk took care of it in less than 5 minutes and we walked out very happy.

Tracy S.

Yelp
Yelp reviewers failed me. This building is so old. There is only so much renovating that can happen here. Our room was so small, 2 adults could not easily walk around in it. The a/c could not cool enough, we sweated all night--and the exterior temperature was only 55 degrees. The tv is so old and low-def, we couldn't read the Wimbledon score on the screen! The shower is the size of a shower on a cruise ship. My 6'5" husband couldn't use it, had to wait til our next stop to shower. Parking was over 2 blocks away. We will not return. It's worth the extra money to stay at 16 Bay View!

Yelp
This is a cute inn right in the heart of Camden. The beds in the room were comfy and we fell asleep quickly. The food at the breakfast buffet was tasty and we left full. The only downfall was that it looked like the carpets and not been vacuumed and bathroom floors were not swept.

Yelp
Wanted to go a short mini vacation with my boyfriend and our dog. Lord Camden Inn was the perfect place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were so many little things about the hotel that made the experience so much more enjoyable. - Large comfortable bed - Fireplace and balcony - Little fitness room upstairs - Complimentary breakfast - Parking nearby - Complimentary cookies and coffee in the lobby - Microwave and mini fridge in the rooms - Free wifi and cable - Endless amounts of steaming hot water - Keurig machine in the room - Friendly staff! - Also close to a grocery store/deli I was nervous bringing our dog along (he's still a hyper puppy that makes his own rules), but the town of Camden seemed to be very dog friendly and everyone we interacted with was very patient with him. There was an additional $25 charge per night to bring our puppy, which seems a little steep considering this only included a pet bed, feeding bowl and three milk bone treats. It was still worth it to have him with us on our vacation than to board him at Petsmart. For anyone who is considering bringing their dog along, go for it! - there is a little park right across the street for potty breaks - Some stores allow dogs inside - It's fine to leave your dog in the room alone We brought along a baby gate and made a makeshift crate-like area in the bathroom while we were gone. (his crate was too bulky to bring along) He was very content with his rawhide treats and didn't miss us at all. At the same time, we didn't have to worry about him having an accident or chewing on furniture. The staff is even willing to come in try to calm down any dogs who may be barking, but this was unnecessary for us. They also take down your cell phone number and contact you if the dog becomes too noisy. I wish we were able to stay in Camden longer. Next time, I'd love to visit during the spring/summer when more shops are open. Would love to try kayaking, rock climbing, or hiking during those seasons.

Robert S.

Yelp
Wonderful hotel, will not be dissapointed. Found this place after arriving in town and deciding to spend the night. Very nice clean room. Everyting is on the newer side, bathroom included. Nicer then our previous hotel which was double the price. The staff was very helpful and the complimentry breakfast was just what we needed in the morning.

Yelp
We live in Camden and often have more summer guests than we have room for in our house. The Lord Camden Inn is our favorite place to put up visitors. They especially like the rooms with gas fireplaces overlooking the harbor. Can't go wrong even though the price may be a little more than some of the motels outside of town.

Yelp
We've stayed at Lord Camden Inn many times. We've been staying with them nearly twice a year since 1999. Their full-breakfasts are phenomenal. Homemade muffins, Belgian waffle maker with real maple syrup, fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream- yummy! Rooms are spacious and very clean, always updated. If you are looking to stay in downtown Camden, this is the place. Although, I would say a little pricey. Personally, I'm not 100% satisfied with Lord Camden Inn, only because I think they do not care about building a continued relationship with guests that return, year after year. They do not respond to email at all.

Yelp
Great stay room was very quiet. Had problem at checkout because car would not start. Front desk helped us resolve the issue very quickly.

Yelp
A nice hotel right in the center of one of America's prettiest towns. Very helpful front desk service (Scott) enhanced the experience.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful hotel. The room, lobby, and breakfast room were all perfect. Extremely well-maintained and comfortable. The staff there are very friendly, helpful, and make you feel relaxed. Many times the free breakfast at hotels leaves something to be desired. Not so here. Wonderful local bagels, muffins, toast. Great coffee, fresh eggs and waffles and even sweetened blueberries to put over the waffles! That part was a very pleasant surprise. And the prices are reasonable!!! I couldn't ask for more.
