Six stars.
STAFF. The staff are so annoyingly nice, they make Ned Flanders and golden retrievers look like jerks.
LOCATION. It's not right on the water, but close enough. The location is in the heart of Camden, yet quiet, with large private balconies overlooking the main street to the east and smokestack and rushing brook to the west.
Lots of restaurants and bars a very short walk away including Marriner's, Waterfront, Peter Ott's, and Francine's. (See my reviews for Cuzzy's, Vintage Room, Boynton, 40 Paper, and Smokestack)
PARKING. A free overnight parking lot (key card required that you must pick up and return at lobby) a few hundred feet away, plus a two hour lot across the street.
LOBBY. Very homey w fireplace, with free cookies or fruit, coffees, teas, water, hot chocolate and (not as tasty) newspapers.
ROOMS. Attractive rooms, super comfortable beds, huge balconies, great amenities (microwave, quiet fridge, Keurig), and they included a very useful channel guide for the flatscreen.
BREAKFAST. Couldn't be better, despite a lack of donuts or danishes. Attractive, uncramped dining room separated from lobby. Made to order waffles, with various syrups and toppings, scrambled eggs, quiche, sausage, bacon, toast, bagels, granola, cereal, milk, yogurt, plus four types of juices, and four types of coffee. I took four types of poops.
WORKOUT ROOM. Clamdigger please.
