This place is a very good place if you like places with history. The staff was fantastic! When i reserved a table they asked if it was a special occasion and I Said that well, it is my husbands birthday. When we were leaving we heard people singing! It was the staff with a beutiful peace of cake! We were so suprised! So we ordered coffe and stayed 👍. Promised i would write here . Go visit Lord Delemere Terasse !Anything can happen ❤️!

Perfect occasion for Sunday brunch with family and friends. Brunch starts at 12:30 to 4:00pm. For about 4000ksh, you get a raw bar, cheese, salad, meats, hot dishes, desserts etc. You'll get western, Indian, and Kenyan cuisines to choose from. Includes select alcoholic beverages. Service is always exceptional.

This restaurant is part of Fairmont The Norfolk, one of the oldest hotels in Nairobi and established in 1904. I went there for their lunch buffet, which cost 32 USD. They offer a wide selection of local and international dishes, including: soup, many types of salads and breads, rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, ugali and spinach, fish with white sauce, grilled beef steaks with mushroom sauce, BBQ chicken, fresh fruit, and many delectable desserts. Their white bread loaf is delicious with butter, and their creme brûlée cheesecake and bananas foster sauce are pure heaven. Service is courteous and friendly. The restaurant has very large windows and ample natural lighting. It feels upscale yet still laid-back. There is also complimentary wifi access. This was the best food and restaurant experience I've had in my 3 weeks in East Africa. I would definitely recommend Lord Delamere Terrace.

The surroundings was nicer than the food. Expensive, service slow and lacklustre.

This was our last supper on our African safari. What a difference being back in the city after 10 days in the bush! ATMOSPHERE: The two covered outdoor terraces are reminiscent of an Italian restaurant with terra cotta tile floors and white walls & furniture but the jazz music piped in also gives you a New Orleans feel. There are street views from the front terrace and the hotel's gardens & courtyard from the back terrace. There's also an indoor dining area between the two terraces. They bring an actual coat hanger to the table if you need one. MENU: Kenyan, English, and Asian cuisine, steaks, pasta, sandwiches, breakfast buffet. FOOD: House breads - A variety of breads that were a bit dry, and the butter had zero taste, no salt and no butteriness. Calamari - Rings only, fried perfect, with tartar sauce and a small green salad with a tangy caesar dressing. Morendat beef stew - A Kenyan dish. Savory red-orange colored soup with onions, carrots, red bell peppers, peas, ugale & chapatti sprinkled with cilantro and a mound of rice. Very good. Buffet breakfast - It was inclusive with our room. What a nice selection. Eggs to order, bacon, beans, quiche, roasted tomatoes, potatoes, porridge SERVICE: Everyone was welcoming, friendly & professional. There was a small language barrier as I received the wrong beer, and a friend got rice instead of mashed potatoes. No biggie. OVERALL: Nice ambiance, prices aren't too outrageous, good food, great service. And why not save yourself the hassle of trying to find a restaurant near the hotel?

Such a nice restaurant in this historical hotel. Food was spot on and my server Samoita was excellent!
