An intimate and charming spot for British cuisine. We started with the scotch eggs, which were outstanding - deeply spiced and easily the highlight of the starters. The sausage roll was solid with a rich center and crisp edges, while the squash salad fell short with a slightly bitter finish. The rabbit pie was a standout: incredibly flaky and fragrant with tender, well-seasoned meat and a perfectly crisp crust. Overall, a cozy spot for British fare with some satisfying dishes.

always a bit skeptical of the “only X burgers served per night” but that feeling evaporated after the first bite of the welsh rarebit burger. still thinking about that rarebit sauce — prime blend patty & bed of onions is such a treat. tangy, powerful, yet balanced. and those chips are some proper thick boys and a wonderful companion burger was stellar + service was amazing. incredibly lovely evening and an experience I look forward to revisiting in the near future

I didn’t know about the burger but thank you to the kind waiter who told me about it! Delicious , rich, soul-warming food. The uni crab on toast was a bite to remember, after the limited delicious cheeseburger. I wish there was little more mash with the pie (or an option to make it larger) , I thought the oysters were a little hard to eat - piping hot while the oyster meat didn’t come off so easily.

Dined here for a friend's birthday and everything tasted amazing! I personally enjoyed the proper english chips and their curried lamb scotch egg :) their chicken was nice and crispy with great flavor. Server was super helpful and answered all our questions on the spot in professional manner. I would recommend this place if you're in the mood to try delicious British food!

Went for brunch feeling hungry, left satisfied and full. Ordered the oysters, burger, and toffee pancake. Oysters were a bit small but each one packed a bite. Crunch from the bacon while still being able to taste the oyster. The burger was great. Pretzel bread with onions and cheese. It was borderline too much onion but was quickly negated by the fluffy bun and melted cheese. Burger was cooked medium rare and was chewy and delicious with every bite. The sticky toffee pancake was absolutely stunning. The fluff of the pancake to the sweetness of the toffee rounded off with a salted butter on top was perfectly blended into a delicious brunch meal. Would definitely go again.

This place refreshed my knowledge for British cuisine. Beyond its uniquely aesthetic interior, the food was exceptional. The curry lamb Scotch egg and mushroom pie were especially memorable, perfect examples of how to elevate simple dishes. My personal favorite was the smoked trout, paired well with the herbs.

The scotch egg was tasty over a nice, thick tzatziki that paired so we'll with the spices in the lamb. The crab on the crab and uni toast was generous. Many delectable bites. The bloody Mary was flavorful and the olive garnish was perfect! Good spot for solo, couples, and groups.

Brunch was a masterclass in overpriced mediocrity. The menu is extremely limited, especially for vegetarians. The food is just okay, and the prices are absurd. $14 for a tiny plate of chips should be investigated. Burger did not live up to the hype. Our toffee pancake arrived at the same time as the burger and eggs, so it sat there getting cold while we ate the “mains.” Who does that? The pancake itself was way too sweet. The interiors, the seating area and lighting are horrendous, it feels like you are at another jack’s wife freda (derogatory).
