Being a wine aficionado, I recently visited Lord's Wines. We went for lunch and was it delicious. I had the filet which was cooked to perfection. I also had a tasting of their wines (R50 for 5 wines) some I enjoyed, others not so much but wine is a personal taste so we cant all like everything :) As it was a chilly morning/afternoon the huge fire place kept us warm. Having a 1 year old baby, I must say that she also enjoyed the humongous restaurant/Tastingroom. The staff was friendly and will definitely visit again.

What a Gem of a place. We always enjoy our time spent at Lords Wines. Thank you Jacie for your friendliness and excellent service and for always making us feel welcome. Food is great, rooms are clean and tidy, lovely views of mountain. Peaceful and quiet! We enjoyed our time here yet again and will defintely be back for more. See you guys soon! Cheslyn Liebenberg

Beautiful scenery, about 10k out of McGregor on good gravel road, huge green lawns - dog friendly, kid friendly, & delicious milkshakes! Wine was nice, favourite was the Pinot Noir. Also had pizza and carrot cake, both were yummy. Would recommend a visit if in the area, enjoy wine tasting and have your pups with you. Didn't get much info on the wine, but didn't ask either... Staff friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely beautiful venue . Nestled in-between majestic mountains. Great service, and fabulous wines. A must visit indeed.

It was such a disappointing meal in a beautiful venue . The pizza was cold and tasteless and the service below par . I had to get help myself several times and wander aimlessly for assistance. The chocolate sauce was unappetising too . Not good value for money unfortunately.

Just 10km outside McGregor on a reasonable gravel road Had lunch there on 15 March to celebrate a few birthdays Started with some wine tasting at r50 pp for 5 wines. Then had lunch at the Bistro The venue is quite large and opens onto a big balcony with amazing views The service was great and some complimentary champagne for the birthday ladies Our food order ranged from burgers to steak and every meal was really nice There was a nice friendly atmosphere. Accommodation is also available on site We went here on a recommendation and very certainly very happy we did

We had a great time at Lord's, with it's remote, beautiful location giving a very peaceful feel compared to other wineries in the area. We were travelling with our 1 year old daughter, and our host, Chandre, couldn't do more to make her (and us) feel welcome, even bringing out a small table and chair with colouring pencils for our little girl. We really enjoyed the wine tasting and thought the prices are very reasonable. Thanks to all at Lord's for making our afternoon memorable, we'd gladly return!

Beautiful wine farm just ousted of McGregor via a very good gravel road. Pet friendly too! I did not taste the wines but the pizza and milkshakes were divine!
