Absolutely unacceptable host attitude – hostile, unprofessional, and repeatedly disrespectful to guests.
The room itself looked nice, but the entire experience was overshadowed by the host’s behaviour — and not just toward us. After staying here, we went through many reviews on Booking, and the pattern is extremely worrying. Whenever guests leave fair or even mild criticism, the host responds with aggressive, attacking messages, sometimes even writing things like “never come again” or accusing guests of things that clearly do not match their actual experience.
This is not normal hospitality behaviour.
This is not professionalism.
This is hostility toward customers.
Our own experience was similar. Instead of taking feedback seriously, the host chose to publicly respond with disrespect, unnecessary accusations, and a defensive attitude that completely ignores the guest’s perspective. It feels like any honest comment is met with retaliation rather than reflection.
A place with nice decoration is meaningless if the host treats guests with contempt.
There are countless B&Bs run by people who genuinely care about hospitality. Unfortunately, this property repeatedly shows from its review history that it prefers to blame, attack, or invent stories about guests instead of improving service.
I strongly advise travellers to read the property’s responses on Booking before deciding. The way a host speaks to their guests says everything.
