Loro Piana

LOUD crazy people outside. The employees locked the doors and were on their phones. They would not let us inside. My friend took a video. I thought this was supposed to be some kind of very fancy business. What did Loro Piana do???

There were lots of very angry animal rights protesters outside of this store when I went. Apparently this business sells fur products. How horrible! I will not be going again until they adopt a fur-free policy. If you are looking for a fashionable spot that doesn't support this abhorrent industry, try going to Max Mara down the street. They have a fur-free policy.

Stacy and Kristen are wonderful! I have been twice and had excellent service. I left both times with the most beautiful shoes and had a great experience.

Disappointed to learn Loro Piana has failed to adopt a fur free policy. This is an industry that is brutal to animals, workers, and the environment. I won't be shopping here ever again until they align their business with nonviolent values and encourage others to do the same.

Wanted to go here but found out this store still sells fur in 2025 👎 I'd rather buy clothes which don't contribute to water pollution and climate change, and which aren't as horrifically cruel as the fur industry.

I recently had a fantastic experience at the Chicago Loro Piana store that I just have to share! From the moment I called, the staff was incredibly helpful over the phone, answering all my questions with patience and professionalism. However, the in-store experience truly exceeded my expectations. Trevor, in particular, went above and beyond to make our day special. His knowledge and friendliness created a welcoming atmosphere that made shopping a pleasure. I highly recommend visiting this store if you're looking for top-notch service and quality products!

Stopped in to check out LP’s latest collection, and was immediately turned off by the pushy sales staff. Shopping in this category should not involve the “hard sell”; most other LP boutiques are not like this, so perhaps they just need to hire some new employees…

Fabrics of varying textures, colors, prints in scarves, apparel, and outerwear. Cashmere, baby cashmere, and silk/cashmere blends are all available at Piana. Denise and Tijana (sp?) are so helpful and fun to shop with. They had great fashion sense, and were able to show off the countless scarves/shawls that they thought were more my style. I am about 5mo pregnant, and the ladies brought out a 100% double stitched cashmere cape coat (Salzburg) that isn't maternity wear, but works with my smaller, prenatal frame. It is very warm, and has a controlled structure with a belt attached to cinch the waist area. If I were older, I would've snagged it. Gorgeous coat, but it's more flattering on older women, I would say. Certainly something I would/ will wear around age 50 (2 decades from now). If you're young and in need of a quality cashmere (or cashmere/silk blend) scarf, this is the store. If you're middle aged or older, this is thee store for all of your cashmere needs (coats, shawls, apparel, shoes, etc. ).

Really outstanding service. Yes, the clothing's beautiful but the service and was really what stood out compared to other locations. Also thank you for the little coffee!

This shop is amazing! Loro Piana Chicago partnered with a non-for-profit I work with on a special shopping event, and the staff was amazing! They are knowledgeable in every aspect of the brand, seeming more like museum docents or a sommelier at times. And while I could not afford anything in the store, the experience of feeling and learning about the fine cashmeres, leathers and wools was incredible. If you're looking for timeless knits and exquisite custom tailoring, I would highly recommend visiting this warm and welcoming boutique.

Loro Piana has been spinning wool from cashmere goats, merino sheep and Andean vicuna for generations! They have the most amazing fabrics and textures, coupled with high design and attention to detail, making for an extraordinary apparel. They have perfected the classic Italian style and everyone in the showroom is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.

Wonderful staff and service at this elegant outpost for Loro Piano. The blazers for men and many of the accessories are of exceptional quality, as always; and Kayla, in particular, has been extremely helpful assisting me in the rehab of an older and well-loved pair of their slippers. It's a reassurance to know that the small luxuries you purchase will last, and then be well-taken care of rather than forgotten as they age. Best.
