This charming old home converted into a rustic yet chic B&B is comfortable and convenient to Ragusa Ibla. The room and bathroom were spacious and the breakfast was very good. But the biggest appeal of this B&B is Rosita, our cheerful and accommodating host. From her warm and exuberant reception upon our arrival to her funny and heartfelt farewell. She told us what the rooms were before it was converted to a B&B, which added to the charm of the building. We will never forget the laughs we shared with her.

Marika is the bomb! She was so incredibly helpful to me during my stay! She helped me find the hotel and even helped me park my car! I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful person! The B&B itself was amazing and looks like it was cut into a cave! I loved my stay there!

So lovely! Marika and Rosita are extremely kind and helpful. The room is airy and quiet, the location is right by the Duomo, the rooftop terrace is delightful, and the breakfast is top-notch. All around wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at L’Orto Sul Tetto. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful quiet place to relax right in the center of Ragusa. Great location! Rosita is a national treasure. She was determined to make sure everything was just right for us. The electrical outlets with USB charging ports on each nightstand are unique and something you don't see in far more expensive places. Very good breakfast.

Our room at this B&B was very comfy, spacious and had a great balcony overlooking the street. It is perfectly situated for the old town. Paolo met us in our car and showed us where to park. He also carried our (very heavy) case down about 300 steps! He couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming. There is a fridge with litre bottles of water for 1 euro and also reasonably priced wine in the B&B. Breakfast was also lovely and served in the garden on the roof. Best of all the house is like a time machine of what an old residence in Ragusa Ibla would have been like. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this B & B one night as we had come to see the Ibla Buskers performances. It is a short walk into town, very convenient. Room was a good size for 3 people & large bathroom. All very neat & clean. Paolo helped us get a parking space which we appreciated. Breakfast was served on a beautiful roof terrace. We enjoyed this very much. Would definitely stay here again if in this area.

It felt like a treat to be able to stay in this old and beautful family home, perfectly situated in Ragusa Ibla a short walk from the cathedral and lots of bars and restaurants. It has all the modern comforts: good wifi, reading lights for the bed and our room had a huge tiled bathroom. There was a small library on the way to our room lined with tempting books and magazines and an honesty fridge with wine and beer. ||Our kind host was Giuseppe, father-in-law of Paolo, who served us breakfast on the roof terrace and gave us excellent advice about places to eat and where to walk in the countryside. The roof terrace is a glory of the house - it has a second rock-cut terrace behind which is shaded by a mulberry tree and a vine. A lovely place to read and rest. ||We would love to return.

Our second visit was just as good as our first. Paolo and Rosita very friendly and helpful Found our way no problems, it is quite an adventure !A privilege to stay in the centre of such a lovely old town yet within reach of many other places of interest. Near to the duomo - the church and the restaurant - both visits highlights of our stay. Breakfast on the garden terrace was great . If you like historic quirky and charming old buildings this is the place to stay. Thanks to Paolo and Rosita for their kindness
