Los Agaves Mexican Restaurant

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and we were lucky enough to arrive maybe within an hour of their opening so we were immediately seated. The restaurant is nice and vibrantly decorated. Our waiter was attentive and had no issues asking for my food to be prepared slightly different than the menu has. Our food was brought out in very timely manner and was very hot and freshly prepared. We both ordered the burrito gigante (I think that’s what it’s called) and it was seriously so good. We’re from Houston, TX where there are tons of great Mexican restaurants to eat and and being here in Arkansas for about 2 years haven’t found anything that impressed us until we ate here. We for sure will be back

Decided to give this place a try as it’s nearest to our hotel. Food was great BUT the service could definitely be better. Took our drink orders at the start and they never came back to refill until nearing the end of our meal. We had to beckon another waiter over but he seemed like we were a burden when we asked him for a refill. A shame because the food was good.

Quite the delicious treat. We had been on the road all day and wanting to get some food and relax in our hotel room up the street. This place came up on maps as being just about the closest thing with a bar. We didn’t stay for the bar, but the food was very satisfying and tasty. We ordered and they said, “20 minutes”. We arrived at minute 19 and they had just bagged everything up. Perfect! We were now only just one cocktail from our evening in the room. Yum! CritDicks

My review is positive. 4 out of 5. Beautiful decoration, great service. I bought 5 to go tacos. 4 were great, but one of them was so super greasy. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

Food was okay in flavor -cheese dip and salsa was not as good as I would prefer but the service was amazing. I love the decoration and atmosphere in the building.

I've eaten here five or so times and it has always been good. The chips and salsa are tasty. I usually get one of the enchilada dinners. They are also tasty. I had a margaritas once, and enjoyed it. The prices seem fair, and the service is quick and friendly

They were very busy and it took a long time to get our food. Our waiter seemed scatterbrained. Margaritas are delicious and loaded. The large is probably all you should drink. The red salsa for chips is not good. It is sweet and tasted like marinara sauce for mozzarella sticks. Our food was brought out cold but we were so hungry by the time we got it that we didn't say anything. Fajitas had 3 shrimp on it and were missing tortillas, had to wait a long time for those to come, also. The waiter was not that great but the margaritas were good and you can get them to-go with an order of food. Went back for to-go margaritas and they tasted like le slushies, they skimp on the alcohol. The Mexican guacamole is very good though

Food was great, very competitive prices. Atmosphere was bright and colorful. Service was a little slow on the order part but quick once the order was in. Every table was full. Chips and drinks were refilled quickly. The appetizer sampler was worth the price. The super burrito was huge and tasty. The tacos were full. The dirty cheese dip good. Definitely the best mexican restaurant in the area.
