Los Altos Resort (Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica) 1 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"High-end sustainability is de rigueur for newer Costa Rican hotels, and Los Altos Resort is no exception. Situated along the Pacific coast on twenty-one acres of rainforest adjacent to the Manuel Antonio National Park, Los Altos is noteworthy for using a relatively small amount of its own property for man-made intrusions. Excepting the hillside perch of the hotel proper, the grounds are untouched rainforest, all the way to the sea. With an expansive spa and ocean-view infinity pool, Los Altos caters to guests who like to venture out, as well as those who’d rather have the peace and serenity brought to them." - Tablet Hotels

I truly can’t say enough about my exoericne at Los Altos. The grounds, views, food and especially the staff were top notch. I just went through a very stressful event in my life and needed a place to relax and find some solace. This definitely fir the bill! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The staff couldn’t do enough, they were always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable! | We stayed in the two story townhomes, which were were truly magnificent. The all glass wall and balconies gave you a complete birds-eye view of the rainforest and Pacific Ocean. It was a joy waking up to sunrises and the chatter of birds. The breakfasts were delicious, They offered a lot of variety and the entire food staff couldn’t have been nicer and more efficient. The dinners were also delicious and there were many choices. The reception staff answered all of our questions and handled booking all of our tours with such efficiency and promptness. The spa was wonderful ! The staff, massages and facials were terrific. It truly relaxed us and we felt regenerated when we left I believe the saying it trickles down from the top is very accurate here, We met the owner several times and he couldn’t be more friendly, accomodating and gracious!|If you want to truly relax in a lovely beach area, sightsee, visit the rainforest, and also want to stay at a fabulous place with many amenities, this place has it all ! I would highly recommend Los Altos!

Wonderful 5* stay! I’d highly recommend the townhouse - it’s like no other. A private pool and the most spectacular view. We saw sloths, monkeys, hummingbirds, macaws and more on the grounds of the hotel, and it’s only a 10-15 minute drive to the national park. The private beach was beautiful, equip with sun beds for shade or sun, and a bar. All service was brilliant, each and every staff member were absolutely lovely and did everything they could to make our stay great. Breakfast was a menu of large portions of high quality local foods and other dishes, with additional fruit and pastries in their lovely restaurant with a beautiful view. This is an expensive resort but for the right reasons - it’s worth the extra money 100%.

Los Altos is an upscale property near Manuel Antonio Park. Our adult-only villa was beautiful and private with anacing views over looking the jungle and ocean bay. Our concierge team , Carlos and Sebastian were incredible - transport, reservations and general advice. The staff overall were very friendly and attentive, food excellent especially Monica, Dorita, Idris and Stephanie. The couples massage on property was great after a ATV tour. |Some notes - we are 60-64 years old; if you stay here - lots of hills so bring appropriate footwear. Hot tubs are not hot in costa rice, tap water and food is delicious, for tours, take a private guided tour of MA park - the los altos team arranged it for us. Pura vida!

Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel with some of the best service we’ve ever had traveling in five star hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel which is near the national park where you can take guided tours of the forest with all the animals and other exotic plants, etc. But the hotel was superior. We had a townhome that was two floors with floor to ceiling glass windows so you could see the gorgeous ocean and surrounding forest that lines the coast of Costa Rica.||We had a Butler 24 hours. They took care of our every need. You could call them at the 11th hour and they will provide whatever service you need. And the friendliness of these individuals at this hotel was outstanding. It made our trip extremely memorable! ||I’m not sure what the hotel is rated, but it should be a five star plus. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re coming to Costa Rica.

Our stay at Los Altos Resort in the Townhouse room was incredible. The Townhouse had a beautiful uninterrupted view of the forest and sea, with a private pool to watch the birds in the day and stars at night. The Townhouse is over two floors which provided lots of space and had a very comfortable bed and upstairs sofa to relax in the evenings. All the staff were very attentive and made it their first priority to make our experience great. Also the private beach is stunning and had a bar, beds and sloths!

He gave us alot of good recommendations outside the resort as far as foods and activities.and created our Itinerary and was at our service the whole stay! We did enjoy the amenities and complimentary treats Private beach is small and pretty rocky definitely recommend water shoes. Breakfast was pretty decent. The menu is set so ONE ENTREE PER DAY everything else is extra charge but not expensive. Poolside service and dinner was good.

Truly magical! We stayed in a townhouse. The modern style, views and comfort of the beds and patio furniture were beyond expectations. Jefferson at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. We mentioned in casual conversation that we were celebrating our anniversary. A day later we came back to our room to a surprise and hand written note from the manager. We were so impressed! The breakfast was delicious, we stayed enough days to get a sample of almost the whole menu. They took care to help me adjust the menu to my dairy allergies. I didn’t have any issues. Ines was a kind, engaging and helpful! We will miss her. The grounds are stunning. They offer golf carts ride whenever desired around the whole grounds but most things (restaurant, pool, spa, rooms and lobby) are an easy walk. We also walked into town it was a 3min walk to the super market and a few more min to zip lining and souvenir shops. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The thoughtfulness of the staff was incredible.
