Los Apson

Los Apson? is an art piece unto itself and it's constantly curated. Everywhere you look; from ceiling to floor and on every surface; there is 2D & 3D art. He even has pieces by the late LA artist, Mike Kelly. This is one of the wildest stores in Tokyo. It’s ephemera, art work, books, records, CDs, and vinyl. Amazingly curated. One of the biggest noise and experimental music stores outside of NEdS in Shinjuku. Los Apson has a huge Merzbow section and there is always a small art exhibit from an emerging visual artist. Go to Koenji !!!!

Eclectic store with an immense collection of tapes, records, and interesting one-off punk/noise merch. The owner was really polite and had a lovely selection of oddball music playing each time i visited. All the records were fairly priced, very special space and uniquely Koenji

a collect shop with loads of mysterious items, experimental music cds & vinyls, tshirts bags keyrings and so on... bought one beads earrings and an yellow magic orchestra vinyl, the owner was so kind and willing to help me out!

Amazing unique place with unique artist limited editions

Strange, weird but beautiful music from all over the world in vinyl, CD, and cassettes. Nice sound rendered over a small collection of loudspeakers. Overall, an excellent taste, passion and respect for music. It's a must.

Niche selection including a decent Japanese noise section on cd. However, limited secondhand selection and prices are a little takai. I left empty-handed. There is a 500¥ cd section, but the best thing in it was a Toni Braxton album. Support independent stores by all means, but profile of the store is not accessible to poor people. Symptomatic of continued gentrification. Build the damn road already.

Beautiful store full of many indie records (vinyl, CDs and cassette tapes). They also even have little frames with nice art!
