A Stay at the Taco Bell Hotel in Palm Springs

"The other hotel provided a more typical experience, free from the themed elements like tortilla chips and hot sauce floaties that characterized The Bell."

My Mom loves coming here because it's so small and quaint and beautiful. She is handicapped, and there is easy access to the pool and the restaurant (although right now the restaurant is being renovated). The rooms are very comfortable and tasteful decor. Wonderful Sherman's deli is a few minutes away. I took a nice swim in the pool, though I hope the pool will be heated next time I go.

My stay at this hotel last weekend was pleasant. The facilities are nice, although I only had the chance to enjoy the hot tub. Parking is free, and the rooms are spacious. I stayed in one of the suites, but the main downside was that it faced the street, making it quite noisy. Additionally, sounds from neighboring rooms could be heard. I would choose a room farther from the street for my next visit. Overall, the location is excellent.

Stayed here the night before an early flight out of psp. Staff were very helpful and responsive, including resolving a booking issue at check in with a free upgrade. Do be aware, as their website does describe, some of their rooms are quite small. Grounds were very well kept, even in the middle of a restaurant remodel. Will definitely stay here again if flying out early.

Boutique hotel with lovely pool. I love the decor and the landscaping of this hotel. The pool was clean. Front desk was helpful and kind. We asked for ice and water that was so helpful for our stay. The in-room temperature units worked well. The mattress was not comfortable. Seemed to be plenty of parking. Short and safe walk to restaurants and art galleries and some shopping. Clean and well maintained rooms and grounds. The couch in the hotel room wasn't too comfortable. There's a nice upper level deck for viewing the sunset.

Our nonprofit organization held our staff retreat here 10/22-10/25/24 and it was absolutely amazing... Wonderful staff, fantastic meals (3x/day), great conference room (for 19 of us), and just a wonderful experience of being able to hold our meetings near the pool and hot tub. The rooms are just lovely and absolutely perfect... one of our staffers did take home the resident kitty, so he is no longer here, but I'm sure another one will adopt the hotel as its own ;). A special thanks to Lisbet and Alma, who went above and beyond to take such great care of us (including Alma making us margaritas at 8pm on a Thursday night ;). Pretty sure all of our organization staff retreats in Palm Springs will be held here from now on... Make sure you visit the rooftop deck while you're here! So lovely!

This place is great if you are looking to relax by the pool and throw back some drinks. At the time of my stay, unfortunately the restaurant was being remodeled but you could get food delivered and eat it there. It's a pretty chill place and there aren't too many rooms giving you a more private experience. Great for couples looking to get away for the weekend. Also, parking is free and there is sufficient spots for the size of the facility. They also have a pool and jacuzzi. However, there are some inconveniences. The front desk closes at 5pm so getting service or any sort can take longer depending on what you need. The ice machine is also in the front office which means no ice after 5pm. Other than that, it's a decent boutique style hotel.

Worst customer service and super greedy. We have to cancel a booking due to a change of plan. We contacted them more than a week in advance during a busy fall season in late Oct 2024. Fully knowing that they have no trouble renting the room out again, the hotel first ignored our request for a few days then refuse to refund us even a penny. Yes, what they did is not illegal, but as a hospitality service they truly disappointed us. We stayed there before during modernism week and it was ok. But now we know if anything happens, as a customer we won’t receive any grace or understanding from this place. It’s all about $$$. Highly recommend any potential customer to reconsider based on our experience.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with this hotel. Due to unforeseen family circumstances, including a death in the family and my daughter’s injury, I could no longer travel on my reserved dates. I reached out four months in advance to inform the hotel and request assistance. I initially emailed — no response. I left a voicemail — no response. Even Booking.com attempted to contact them on my behalf, but the hotel still failed to respond. The complete lack of communication and customer care during such a difficult time was unacceptable and unprofessional. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone expecting even basic customer service or empathy.
